Result The treatment group had a higher total effective rate (92.5%) than the control group (67.5%), and the improvement of nerve conduction velocity in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Bloodletting plus acupoint sticking is effective in treating DPN.
4.Significance of adaptive response to study of traditional Chinese medicine
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2004;2(6):415-20
Adaptive response is a topic of general interest in medical research. Utilization of adaptive response has become a new treatment strategy for some diseases, the core of which is to stimulate the mechanisms of body internal protection, to improve the adaptive and anti-injury capability, and to maintain the homeostasis of the body. The existence of adaptive response indicates that the body internal protection can be induced and its key mechanism is the inducement of internal protective factors (internal protective proteins). In this article, some connections between adaptive response and the theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) were discussed, which indicated that adaptive response is much beneficial for explaining some theories of TCM such as correspondence between human and nature, strengthening healthy qi to consolidate constitution, acupuncture theory, adaptogen herbs, and treating disease before its onset, etc. Thus the adaptive response is of great significance for explaining scientifically the connotative meaning of the theories of TCM and for promoting the integration of TCM and western medicine.
5.Vascular grafts made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene for repair of peripheral arterial injuries
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(34):5496-5500
BACKGROUND:Vascular grafts made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene have been shown to have highly hydrophobic surface characterized by resistance to water penetration and biological durability. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of vascular grafts made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene for repair of peripheral arterial injuries. METHODS:Thirty-eight patients with peripheral arterial injuries, consisting of 30 males and 8 females, aged 17-61 years, were included in this study. After conventional fluid infusion, anti-shock treatment, anti-inflammation, and debridement, they received implantation of vascular grafts made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene. A 12-month folow-up observation was performed to investigate the recovery of affected limbs and vascular patency in patients. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After implantation of vascular grafts made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene, al vessels were unblocked and no cases died or had limbs amputated. Blood supply of al affected limbs recovered to normal and there was no vascular anastomotic infection. Imaging results showed that vascular patency rate was 100%. Ultrasound examination results showed that at the end of the folow-up period, the inner wal of the vascular grafts was smooth, obvious mural thrombus or anastomotic stenosis did not occur in any case, vascular patency rate was 92% (35/38), and no adverse reactions related to artificial vessels were observed. These findings suggest that vascular grafts made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene for repair of peripheral arterial injuries exhibit striking surface anticoagulant property and long-term patency.
6.Prevention and treatment of valve-related complications induced by interventional therapy in structural heart diseases
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2014;(10):993-996
Structural heart diseases refer to anatomic heart or great vessels abnormalities by congential or acquired factors, including congenital heart disease, acquired heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy. In recent years, interventional therapy in structural heart diseases has gradually matured and been widely applied in clinical practice. Due to the fragility of heart valves and valve related organizations, or the congenital dysplasia of valves, the complex interventional therapeutic procedures can cause valve-related complications. In this paper, the causes, prevention and treatment of valve-related complications induced by interventional therapy in structural heart diseases are introduced.
7.Clinical analysis of colonoscope in diagnosis and treatment of colonic polyps (175 cases)
China Journal of Endoscopy 2017;23(2):42-48
Objective To analyze the characteristic and distribution of colonic polyps and investigate the diagnosis of colorectal benign polyps for chromoendoscopy and curative effect of argon plasma coagulation, High frequency electric knife electric coagulation, EMR, Titanium clips treating Colorectal benign polyps. Methods 175 patients of benign colorectal polyps of endoscopic diagnosis combined with pathology and treated were collected from December 2015 to June 2016.Results by ordinary and staining endoscopy, solitary polyp quantity and multiple polyps types in many segments for colon were more. Which the polyps quantity of rectum and sigmoid colon were more and polyp diameter was smaller in the left colon, the polyps quantity of ascending colon were less and polyp diameter was larger in the right colon. Pigment endoscopy was conduce to diagnose the micro-polyp. Chromoscopy enhanced the detection of multiple polyps in the colon. Conclusions Staining endoscopy is improved the multiple polyps detection rate and reduce omission diagnose rate, to proift the differential diagnosis of benign polyps, according to the solitary polyp and multiple polyps combined with polyp size in colon, which select the one of APC, high-frequency electric coagulation electric cut and EMR or two kinds of therapeutic endoscopy, therapeutic endoscopy is efifcacy and safety technique and the most of APC.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2009;24(3):193-195
Objective To evaluate the usefulness of the "inserting" bilio-jejunostomy for iatrogenic bile duct injury. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 27 cases with iatrogenic bile duct injury treated by the "inserting" bilio-jejunostomy in the past 11 years. Results Among the 27 patients, bile duct injury was caused by open cholecystectomy in 21 and by laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 6. The diameter of injuried bile ducts in all patients was less than 1 centimeter (0.3~0.8 cm ). The end of remnant bile duct 2~3 cm in length was completely inserted into the jejunum loop in 10 cases, while the anterior wall of the remnant bile duct inserted into jejunum loop with the posterior wall anastomosed with the jejumum conventionally in 17 cases. There was no biliary fistula nor stenosis occurred after the operation. Conclusions The "inserting" bilio-jejunostomy is a simple, safe and useful method, and this new surgical technique should be applied to patients with iatrogenic bile duct injury when bilio-enteric reconstruction was needed.
