The medical order number of a blood transfusion is used as the matching number in the full range of clinical blood use. A cycle is built ranging from the application for to the implementation of a medical order for blood transfusion. Such measures as repeated blood types verification by two departments, dual-database management of blood type files, and bar coding are called into play to ensure information correctness. These measures can make sure that the correct blood type is transfused to the correct patient and rule out accidents in blood transfusion. Indications for blood products are set up under real-time surveillance, which makes available limited blood products supply to those in need and minimizes waste and abuse of such products. The full-range and real-time management of clinical blood use will confine blood transfusion indications and ensure patients' safety with 100% match ratio.

BACKGROUND:Intracranial aneurysms have a high mortality, and finite element analysis to predict fracture risk has become a hot topic at present. Finite element analysis requires reliable fluid-structure interaction model, blood model of aneurysm is very easy to obtain, but the vascular wal model can not be obtained directly, only by artificial settings, which may have an impact on calculation results.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of vascular wal thickness on fluid-structure interaction analysis in finite element modeling of complex intracranial aneurysms, and provide a more reliable method of finite element modeling for the numerical simulation study of intracranial aneurysms.
METHODS:A three-dimensional numerical model of tandem left intracranial internal carotid artery aneurysms of a 67-year-old man was obtained by three-dimensional angiography. Four fluid-structure models were got postoperatively by thickening vascular wal , which were artificial y set for 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm. According to intraoperative measured data, dynamic characteristics of fluid-structure interaction of tandem internal carotid artery aneurysms were simulated by the finite element method, comparing four models to calculate the difference between the results.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Among the four models, there were no difference in blood flow chart, blood pressure drop chart and wal shear stress chart (P>0.05). The deformation of the vascular wal was the most obvious in C 2 segment of the internal carotid artery, and the thicker vessel wal was accompanied by the more apparent deformation (P<0.01). Von Mises stress in the vessel wal of the four models reached a local maximum in the I and J points, the thinner vessel wal was accompanied by the larger local maximum (P<0.01). The settings of vascular wel may affect the fluid-structure interaction analysis of complex intracranial aneurysms and appropriate thickness settings wil obtain accurate calculation.

Sentinel lymph node biopsy has a very important function in the accurate staging, diagnosis, and treatment of malig-nant melanoma. The operational technique of sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) has been basically mature, but its indications remain unclear, especially for thin melanomas. Adequate evidence to show that SLNB combined with a complete lymph node dissection can prolong the survival of patients with metastasis is unavailable. Given the low incidence of malignant melanoma in the country, the use of SLNB has not been extensively investigated in China and the relevant methods are outdated. This review summarizes the current ap-plication of SLNB in cutaneous malignant melanoma by analyzing related studies conducted in recent years.

Limb salvage surgery with comprehensive treatment is the standard care for soft tissue sarcoma in the limbs and trunk. Marginal status is a key factor in determining the quality of surgical treatment, as well as in guiding the selection of adjuvant therapies. The goal of surgery is to obtain an appropriately negative margin, although no consensus exists regarding the adequate thickness of normal tissue cuff. With the development of auxiliary treatments, surgery for soft tissue sarcoma is becoming less extensive. Marginal resection combined with adjuvant therapies may be necessary to preserve limb functions when the tumor is close to critical vessels, nerves, or bones. When preparing the preoperative plans, additional considerations should include histologic type, location, presence of barriers, and response to adjuvant therapies.

With the progress of genetic studies,it has been found that long non-coding RNA( LncRNA) in many regulations which play a key role in development of tumor.Its own individual pieces can also have differ-ent adjustive effects;some LncRNA can even have different regulation and controlling effect in a variety of tumor. How the newly discovered LncRNA expression in colorectal cancer?This review mainly outlines the research de-velopment of LncRNA in colerectal cancer in brief.

Neonatal hypoglycemia is a common metabolic problem. The definition and clinical management of neonatal hypoglycemia remains controversial. The concerned reasons are mainly as follows:the course of a physiological decrease and recovery in the level of blood glucose is usually existed in newborn infants after birth;asymptomatic hypoglycemia(many newborn infants' blood glucose level is very low but without any clinical signs or symptoms);and the lack of the complete comprehension for the relationship between neonatal hypoglycemia and the long-term neurologic prognosis. The review describes the etiology,definition and clinical management of hypoglycemia in newborn infants.

Objective Through observation of the expression and activity of extracellular regulated protein kinase 5 (ERK5) and its relationship with the learning and memory ability in rats with chronic fluorosis,to further study the pathogenesis of chronic fluorosis in nervous system.Methods Thirty SD rats were divided into 3 groups according to body weight by means of a random number table (10 rats in each group,half male and half female).The rats in control group were fed with free drinking tap water containing less than 0.5 mg/L fluoride (NaF);the rats in low fluoride group with 10.0 mg/L fluoride;the rat in high dose fluoride group with 50.0 mg/L fluoride.After 6months of experiment,rat brain tissue was took,mRNA expression level of ERK5 was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (real-time PCR),protein expression level and activity of ERK5 were detected by Western blotting;the learning and memory ability of rats with chronic fluorosis were detected by Morris water maze test.Results The rat in groups exposed to fluoride exhibited different degrees of dental fluorosis and the fluoride content in urine of rats increased gradually with increase of fluoride doses (F =164.10,P ＜ 0.05).The protein levels of phosphor-ERK5 in the control group,low fluoride group and high fluoride group were 0.13 ± 0.03,0.29 ± 0.10and 0.43 ±0.17,respectively,the difference was statistically significant (F=11.96,P＜ 0.05),and low fluoride group and high fluoride group were higher than control group (all P ＜ 0.05).The total protein levels of ERK5 in control group,low fluoride group and high fluoride group were 0.32 ± 0.11,0.37 ± 0.13 and 0.49 ± 0.16,respectively,the difference was statistically significant (F =3.45,P ＜ 0.05),and high fluoride group was higher than control group (P ＜ 0.05).The expression of ERK5 mRNA in rat brains between groups was not significantly different (F =0.81,P ＞ 0.05).The second,third,and forth days of directional navigation experiment,the time of escape latency and the number of crossing the platform between groups were statistically significant (H =28.20,29.90,26.47,27.23,35.34,27.62,all P ＜ 0.01);the fifth day of space exploration experiment,the difference of the time of the first crossing platform and the number of crossing the platform between groups were statistically significant (H =31.41,30.80,all P ＜ 0.01);the protein level of phosphor-ERK5 in brain tissue of rats was negatively correlated with the number of the first crossing platform (r =-0.470,P ＜ 0.01),while positively related to escape latencies at the fifth day of the test (r =0.591,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The changes of ERK5 signaling pathway in rat brain tissue caused by chronic fluorosis are found,which are related to the decrease of leaming and memory ability of animals with chronic fluorosis.

BACKGROUND:Few cases of acute cerebral embolism were treated by mechanical thrombectomy al over the world. However, there were few cases currently treated by mechanical thrombectomy using Penumbra system. It is an unclear understanding of effects on regional cerebral blood vessels using this kind of surgery.
OBJECTIVE:To describe effects of numerical simulation on regional cerebral blood vessels of an acute cerebral embolism patient by mechanical embolectomy using Penumbra system.
METHODS:A 77-year-old woman suffering from acute cerebral embolism of left middle cerebral artery was selected. Various raw data were col ected in emergency of digital subtraction angiography, then mechanical thrombectomy using Penumbra system was carried out successful y. After these raw data were processed into dimensional numerical models of two kinds of embolectomy methods (“suction bolt method from near to far”and“suction bolt method from far to near”), and then finite element analysis was carried out.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Model establishment and finite element analysis were successful y conducted. Compared with“suction bolt method from near to far”,“suction bolt method from far to near”models had smal er velocity of flow in catheter and smal er wal shear stress of thrombus (P<0.01), and had larger wal shear stress of blood vessel wal , deformation of blood vessel wal (P<0.01) and deformation of thrombus (P<0.05). Results suggested that finite element analysis of mechanical embolectomy using Penumbra system can help physicians to involve in a clear understanding of their impacts on cerebral blood vessels of patients. As a research method, it is worth to continue to explore in the future.

Objective:To explore the expression of Toll-like receptor(4TLR4),nuclear factor -kappaB p65(NF-?Bp65) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-?)in placenta of preterm birth of infected mouse model,as well as intervention of N-Acetylcysteine(NAC) in order to develop a novel strategy for prevention from premature birth.Methods:Expression of mRNA and protein of TLR4,NF-?Bp65 and TNF-? in the mouse placenta of premature birth was analyzed by using RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry.LPS injection was taken to develop the infectious mouse mode,and the incidence of premature birth was observed.The regimen of NAC intervention was performed and its modulation for placenta expression of TLR4,NF-?Bp65 and TNF-? was investigated.Results:It was shown that TLR4,NF-?Bp65 and TNF-? were expressed at a low level in control groups and in LPS model groups,their expressions were significantly increased when compared with the control groups(P

Objective To survey the Keshan disease conditions and its trend in the historical serious illness areas of the disease in Arong Banner,and to provide epidemiological evidence for scientific prevention and control of Keshan disease.Methods According to the requirements of National Keshan Disease Surveillance Program,two villages in 2 townships of Arong Banner were selected as monitoring sites in 2012,population in monitoring sites was conducted clinical examination and electrocardiogram (ECG) tracings;suspected cases of Keshan disease were conducted chest X ray and ultrasound heartbeat graph examination.At the same time,residents' income and staple food structure were investigated.Results The abnormal rate of ECG was 7.92％ (66/833).The detection rate of cardiac enlargement was 20.00％ (9/45) by chest X ray,in which a slight increase was 8.89％ (4/45),moderate increase was 4.44％ (2/45) and severe increase was 6.67％ (3/45).The detection rate of Keshan disease patients was 132.05/10 000 (11/833),including latent Keshan disease [72.03/10 000 (6/833)] and chronic Keshan disease [60.02/10 000 (5/833)].In the ECG abnormal changes of Keshan disease cases,ST-T change and right bundle branch block were common,accounting for 100.00％ (11/11) and 63.64％ (7/11),respectively;frequent ventricular premature contraction was 2 cases,accounting for 18.18％ (2/11),degree I ° atrioventricular block and complete left bundle branch block was both i case,accounting for 9.09％ (1/11).Annual per capita income in Arong Banner was 8 100 yuan;dweller staple food was rice,flour and other grain crops,rice accounted for 70％-80％,flour 15％-25％ and purchased non-local grain accounted for 95％.Conclusions Keshan disease has been under control at a lower level in Arong Banner,but new latent and chronic Keshan disease occur slowly,gradually and gradually accumulated;life quality and dietary structure have influence on the incidence.In the future,we should pay more attention to Keshan disease and do a good job on prevention and control of Keshan disease.
