1.Magnetic resonance imaging of patients with polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel injection for facial plasty

Objective To investigate MRI signal features and MRI appearances of patients with advanced stage in polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel injection for facial plasty.Methods In this study,MRI of 11 cases with 23 polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel injection of facial plasty for 6 to 10 years were retrospectively reviewed.All images were acquired with GE 3.0T MR imaging unit.MR sequences,including FSE T1WI,FSE FS T2WI,and STIR were applied with 8-channel brain coil.MRIs sliced through the maxillofacial region in the transverse,coronal and sagittal planes.Results In 11 cases of 23 polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel injection,there were different degrees of capsule rupture and induration in 6 polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel injection,and the images showed sporadic callosities such as subcutaneous nodules and nodules in glands or muscles ; hydrogel migration in 8 polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel injection.Secondary deformity occured in 80 % cases,in which the most cases were induced by hydrogel migration.Conclusions Magnetic resonance imaging can make clear of the type of rupture and the distribution leakage of polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel for facial plasty and it is an ideal approach for advanced patients with polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel injection for follow-up.
2.Risk assessment of cadmium exposure in shellfish in Guangdong Province

Objective To investigate the content of cadmium in shellfish in Guangdong Province and make dietary exposure assessment of cadmium in shellfish.Methods The shellfish samples were collected from Pearl River Delta,Eastern and Western Guangdong Province using random sampling method.Point assessment method was used to evaluate the exposure of dietary cadmium intake from shellfish.The risk of dietary cadmium exposure from shellfish were evaluated.Results Three hundred and seven samples were included in the analysis.The median concentration of cadmium in shellfish was 0.630 mg/kg and the exceeding standard rate was 23.8% (73/307).The exceeding standard rates in Eastern Guangdong,Western Guangdong and Pearl River Delta were 19.4% (13/67),23.5% (16/68),and 25.6% (44/172),respectively.The corresponding median concentration of cadmium were 0.530,0.806 and 0.853 mg/kg,and the difference was not statistically significant (x2 =0.94,P > 0.05).The average (P50) and high level (P97.5) daily intake of cadmium from shellfish by the total survey population was 0.957 μg/d,and 4.511 μg/d,respectively.The monthly intake of cadmium associated with shellfish calculated from average and P97.5 exposure doses accounted for 1.91% and 9.02% of PTMI,respectively.Conclusion The cadmium content of some shellfish in Guangdong Province exceeded the standard.However,the cadmium intake from shellfish by the survey population was not high.
3.Clinical study of anti-Mullerian hormone in prediction of ovarian aging

Objective To explore the serum anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) level in women of childbearing age with normal menstrual cycles. Methods A total of 1 423 women with regular menstrual cycles were selected and divided into 5 groups according to their ages, i.e.≤25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40,≥41 years. Their serum levels of AMH were measured, and the relationship between AMH and age was analyzed. Results The serum AMH levels of 5 groups according to ages (≤25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, ≥41 years) were 3.62, 3.10, 2.27, 1.07, 0.45μg/L, respectively. The comparison of serum AMH levels in different age groups had significant difference (P<0.01). Serum AMH level declined with increasing age,and dropped significantly after 36. The serum AMH level and age showed a negative correlation with significant difference (r=-0.374, P<0.01). Quadratic regression of logAMH proximally reflected the relationship between AMH and age. Conclusion AMH determination for women of childbearing age could provide reference for the evaluation of ovarian function.
4.Early enteral nutrition support dose selection in critically ill patients: a Meta analysis

Objective To systematically evaluate the optimal dose of early enteral nutrition support in critically ill patients.Methods Systematic search database including PubMed,Web of science,Scopus,CINAHL,CBM,CNKI.RCTs about early enteral nutrition dose selections in critically ill patients were chosen according to include and exclude criteria by two researchers independently.Cochrane system evaluation manual bias risk assessment was used to evaluate quality of literature.RevMan5.3 Meta analysis software was used to analyze the data.Results A total of 1 571 literatures were retrieved and 8 RCT studies were included,2 713 subjects in total.Meta analysis results showed that there were statistically significant differences in mechanical ventilation time,incidence of diarrhea,and utilization rate of gastro dynamic drugs between trophic feeding and full feeding (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in mortality,length of stay,incidence of nosocomial infections,reflux,vomiting,constipation,etc.(P>0.05).Conclusions Trophic feeding has familiar effects on mortality,length of hospital stay compared to full feeding,but it can help to shorten ICU mechanical ventilation time,improve the gastrointestinal tolerability.
5.Research on mode of anisotropy and other diffusion tensor imaging derived indices of white matter with mild to moderate Alzheimer disease based on tract based spatial statistics

Objective We performed a diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) study to explore the value of mode of anisotropy (MO) and other DTI-derived indices in assessing white matter fiber damage with mild to moderate Alzheimer disease (AD) patients. Methods This study was a prospective study. From February 2015 to February 2018, 33 patients with mild to moderate AD according to criteria were prospectively recruited as AD group at the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. Twenty healthy age-, sex-matched volunteers were recruited as normoal conctrast (NC) group. All subjects were performed by conventional brain MRI and DTI scans. The MO, anisotropic fraction (FA), mean diffusivity (MD), radial diffusivity (RD) and axial diffusivity (AxD) of white matter fibers were obtained from DTI images after TBSS post-processing. The statistical analyses of DTI indices between AD group and NC group were carried out in Functional MRI Software Library software. Results As compared with NC group, we found 1 cluster with significant decrease FA and increase RD in AD group, the affected fibers involving bilateral anterior thalamic radiation, corticospinal tract, cingulate gyrus, hippocampus, inferior fronto-occipital fasciculus, inferior longitudinal fasciculus, uncinated fasciculus, superior longitudinal fasciculus (P<0.05). The MD value increase(P<0.1) was found to coincide with the decrease of FA and the increase of RD, while no significant increase or decrease in P<0.05. Three clusters of MO increases (P<0.05) accompanying with increases of AxD were found in left anterior limb of internal capsule, bilateral posterior limb of internal capsule, posterior forceps, left centrum semiovale and parietal lobe. Two clusters of MO decreases (P<0.05) accompanying with decreases of FA and increases of RD were found in fornix, forceps, external capsule, centrum semiovale and left frontal lobe. Conclusions The combination of MO with DTI routine tensor indices (FA, RD, MD, AxD) can further reveal the microstructural damage of white matter fibers in AD, especially to crossing-fibers. The abnormalities of MO combined with FA, RD and MD reveal the degeneration of both bundles of crossing-fibers,and the abnormalities of MO combined with AxD reveal that the white matter damage was mainly caused by axon damage of one bundle of cross fibers.
6. The spatial distribution and epidemic trend of silicosis in Guangdong province

Objective:
To investigate the characteristics, temporal trend of silicosis, and provide basis for risk assessment and precise prevention and control of occupational diseases.
Methods:
Using descriptive statistics to analyze the reported cases of silicosis by SPSS 20.0 software. Reported silicosis cases, the constituent ratio, the incidence age and the working age at onset were analyzed by a linear trend test. Analyzing the variation trends of regional, industry, economic type and enterprise scale distributions by the chi-square trend test. Moreover, using Moran's I method for spatial autocorrelation analysis and trend-surface analysis.
Results:
(1) During 2006 to 2015, Guangdong province had reported 1, 428 cases of silicosis, mainly gathered in Foshan, Zhongshan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, which included 1391 male cases accounting for 97.41%. And the average incidence age was 45 (39, 51) . The average working age of onset was 9 (5.5, 15) . In economic type distribution, the private economy took the main part, accounting for 59.1%. In enterprise scale distribution, it was dominated by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) , accounting for 32.4% and 37.3% respectively. In industry distribution, most cases were gathered in materials and mining industry, accounting for 32.1% and 22.9% respectively. Objective To understand the genetic and epidemiologic characteristic of Brucella (B.) melitensis strains isolated in Guizhou province in 2010-2012. Methods B. genus specific BCSP31-PCR and species-specific AMOS-PCR were used to identify the bacteria strain,while the identified strains were analyzed under MLVA-16 and cluster analysis of B. melitensis strains. The strains were isolated from Guizhou and other provinces. Results Six B. melitensis strains were identified as B. melitensis using the BCSP31-PCR and AMOS-PCR. Data from the MLVA-16 analysis revealed the differences of repeated numbers at parts of the VNTR locus in the six strains isolated in Guizhou province. The six strains from Guizhou province and 105 B. melitensis strains from other province could be divided into 72 MLVA types(MT). Strain ZY and ZA from Guizhou province were typed as MT63,and LL3,LL4 and LL11 were typed as MT67,while strain SQ was typed as MT72. Data from the clustering analysis showed that ZY,ZA,LL3,LL4 and LL9 were most closely clustered with B. melitensis isolates from Yunnan,Fujian and Guangdong provinces,but strain SQ was genetically remote from other strains. Conclusion PCR methods,combined with MLVA-16, identified the six B. melitensis strains isolated in Guizhou province in 2010-2012 as B. melitensis biovar 3,with the genetic diversity of the strains showed. Six strains were closely related to the B. melitensis strains from Yunnan,Fujian and Guangdong provinces. The results of this study provided scientific basis for the control and prevention of Brucellosis in Guizhou province.
