1.Study of JCBI spontaneously producing a suppressor factor
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(03):-
JCBI is a glioma eell line established in our department. JCBI cells spontaneously produce a factor inhibiting blastogenic responses of mouse thymocytes and the IL-2 dependent T cell growth of mouse spleen lymphoblast, without inhibiting spontaneous proliferation of mouse thymocytes. The inhibiting activity is high after 72 hours of passage. Physicochemical characterization shows that the factor is nondialyzable. partially inactivated at 37℃ 48 hours and almost inactivated at 56℃ 30 min. But the factor is stable at 4℃ for 2 weeks and in freeze-thawing. The molecular weight of the factor is approximately 10 kd as estimated by gel filtration. The factor may contribute to the impaired immunosurveillance and to the cellular immunodeficiency state in the patients.
2.Application of one kind of method in judging the fissurefracture by using image enhancement
China Medical Equipment 2015;(3):37-39,40
Objective:A more effective approach to judge the fissure fracture by using image enhancement is presented. Methods:The Gradient image after 5×5 median filtering smoothing was used to mask the laplace image, and to add the original image in order to informing the sharpening image, and then the adaptive contrast histogram equalization is put in shaping image and to compare the effect of the image enhancement. Results: The algorithm to enhance the X-Ray fracture image can highlight the shape of the fissure fracture clearly. The enhanced image is more effective than the image by using one way alone. Conclusion: This method is valuable in judging the fissure fracture in clinical diagnosis.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(01):-
Objective To understand the pollution of particulate matters and the distribution of heavy metals in particulate matters. Methods Samples were collected with auto-sampling instrument for 32 consecutive days in heating period of Dec. 2003-Jan,2004, in a central area of Tianjin. The heavy metals were detected with atomic absorption spectrum, atomic fluorescence spectrum and plasma emission spectrum, 9 heavy metals were measured quantitatively. Results The rates of over standards for daily mean of TSP, IP, PM2.5 in heating period were 54.55%, 57.58%, 84.85% respectively. Content of some heavy metals such as Cd, Pb, Ni in the particulate matters were higher. Conclusion Air pollution with particulates in heating period is serious. PM2.5 carries more heavy metals than TSP and IP, so it is much more harmful to human health.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(05):-
Abstract-Eleven mouse monoclonal antibodies (McAbS)specific for human alpha-fetopr-otein(AFP) have been produced by the hybridoma technique. Immunodiffusion was us-ed for determining the immunoglobulin class and subclass of the McAbS. Seven of them are IgG; two are IgM. At least 4 different antigenic determinants on human AFPcan be recognized by using the McAbS and cross-two-site sandwich solid radioimmun-oassay. One of the McAbS can specially react with one of the fragments of AFP dig-ested by pepsin. In addition, the cross-reactivity among the AFPs of different mam-malian species was also tested by using the McAbS.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
From 1978 to 1985, 14 patients with accidental injury of extrahepatic bile ducts at cholecystecto-my were reported. The incidence was 0.12%. The injury caused suffering, severe after effects for the patients. In the analysis of the causes, half of the cases occurred due to over-confidence and negligence of operating surgeons. Other causes were as unsatisfactory anesthesia, improper operative incision, blind clamping for control of hemorrhage in the area of the bile ducts, difficult dissection of the Calot's triangle because of anatomical anomaly, fibrosis, inflammation or adhesion. The methods of the prevention were discussed.According to various types of injury, different therapy should be taken. Early intervention, Roux-Y jejunal reconstruction, judicious use of Y tube and prolonged dilatation of hilar strictures will improve the outlook. No mortality and malfunction occurred.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
To elucidate apoptosis of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN) in early postburn stage and the effects of burn sera and subeschar tissue fluid (STF) on apoptosis of PMNs, 24 Wistar rats were divided into scald group and control group (no scald group) randomly. PMNs were harvested at 0, 12, 24h after scald injury, and percentage of apoptotic PMNs was measured by flow cytometry.Apoptosis of PMNs was again assayed with flow cytometer after being incubated with burn sera or STF harvested from scalded rats. The result showed that the percentage of apoptotic PMNs in scalded group were lower than that in control group, indicating burn sera and STF could inhibit apoptosis of PMNs in a dose dependent manner. It suggested that spontaneous apoptosis of PMNs is inhibited in early postburn stage, and burn sera and STF play an important role in this process.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 1989;0(03):-
Objective:Describe the prevalence of depressive disorder and the care-seeking of depressed individuals among inpatients in general hospitals in Beijing.Methods:2 925 inpatients ≥15 years of age from 40 general hospitals (selected by stratified random sampling) were first screened by psychiatric nurses and then psychiatrists used DSM-IV criteria to generate a 'gold standard' diagnosis in subjects screened positive and 10% of those screened negative. Results:Adjusted point prevalence, one-year prevalence, and lifetime prevalence of any type of depressive disorder were 7.04%, 7.47% and 9.96%, respectively; corresponding prevalences of Major Depressive Disorder were 3.83%, 4.33%, and 6.11%, respectively. Of the 123 depressed patients only 12 (9.8%) had ever received treatment. The prevalence was significantly higher in females than in males(5.18%vs 3.59%,RR=1.44 95%CI:1.01~2.05), in patients from Level-2 hospitals than in those from Level-3 hospitals(6.28%vs 3.31%,RR=1.90 95%CI:1.31~2.75), and in patients on internal medicine wards than in those from surgery (6.08%vs3.60%,RR=1.69 95%CI:1.15~2.49)or other wards(6.08%vs 3.01%,RR=2.02 95%CI:1.21~3.37).Conclusions:The prevalence of depressive disorder among inpatients in Beijing's general hospitals is high but very few are diagnosed or treated. Different programs to increase the recognition and treatment of depression in general hospitals need to be developed and regularly monitored.
