1.Diagnosis of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of pancreas by computed tomography
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2012;11(2):148-150
Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) of the pancreas is a rare tumor which has malignant potential.Differentiating IPMN from other cystic lesions of the pancreas is difficult. Its clinical symptoms are nonspecific, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever or jaundice, possibly accompanied by hyperamy lasemia of blood and urine. Some patients have acute pancreatitis or chronic cholecystitis.According to the result of a retrospective study on clinical and imaging data of 11 patients with IPMN,we drew a conclusion that cystic dilatation of the main or branch of pancreatic ducts and mural nodules, and cystic dilatation linked with the main pancreatic ducts are the characteristics of IPMN of the pancreas.Computed tomography diagnosis is feasible to provide important information for the diagnosis of IPMN of the pancreas.

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(12):-
Objective To study the relationship between liver histological changes and expression of HBcAg in peripheral blood dendritic cells in patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods The peripheral blood samples were obtained from 24 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and 8 healthy individuals. The peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated.DCs were isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells and enriched by culturing with recombinant human interleukin 4(rhIL-4) and recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (rhGM-CSF),then DCs were harvested and the costimulators of CD80,CD86,CD40 and CD54 on DCs were tested by immunofluorescence flow cytometry. These costimulators were compared with liver histological changes. Results Percentage of CD40 and CD86 was significant lower than that of healthy donors(P

Tumor 2010;(2):160-163
Objective:Tumor suppressor gene nitrogen permease regulator like 2 (NPRL2), also called tumor suppressor candidate gene 4 (TUSC4), widely exists in all kinds of human tissues and is highly conserved in different kinds of biological species. The expression of NPRL2 is markedly decreased in many human tumor tissues, such as lung cancer, breast cancer, renal carcinoma, et al. NPRL2 is located in human chromosome 3p2.13, and participates in DNA mismatch modification, regulation of signal transduction du-ring cell cycle progression, and apoptosis induction. NPRL2 gene inactivation is related with the initiation and progression of several malignant tumors. The mechanism underlying the tumor-inhibiting activity of NPRL2 gene is not clear and needs to be further investigated.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2016;40(1):70-76
The management for qualification documents of medical instruments is very important work to management department of medical instruments. Because the number of qualification documents of medical instruments is very large and they have an expiry date, it is difficult to manage them. This article discussed how to manage qualification documents of medical instruments, and an information management system that has a function of traceability management has been developed. This information management system standardizes management for qualification documents of medical instruments, and ensures that qualification documents of medical instruments are available and can be traced. Besides, it can reduce the amount of work for medical instruments management.

Journal of International Oncology 2008;35(4):312-315
Objective To investigate the methylation status of 14-3-3σ promoter in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines and the influence of de-methylation treatment on 14-3-3σ expression. Methods Methylation status of 14-3-3σ gene promoter and 14-3-3σ mRNA expression were detected by methylation specific PCR (MSP) and RT-PCR in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines CNE1, CNE2,5-8F,6-10B and immortalized nonneoplastic human nasopharyngeal epithelial cell line, NP69. Four nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines were treated with 5-asa-2' -deoxycytidine(5-aza-2dC) in different concentration for 72 h, then 14-3-3σ promoter meth-ylation status and m RNA expression were assessed, and western-blot was performed to detect the expression of 14-3-3σ protein. Results 14-3-3σ promoter methylation was detected by MSP in all of the four nasopharyn-geal carcinoma cell lines untreated by 5-aza-2dC whereas not in the treated ones or the immortalized human na-sopharyngeal epithelial cell line, NP69. Accordingly, 14-3-3σ mRNA expression was significantly discounted in untreated nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines as compared with NP69. 5-aza-2dC treatment dose-depend-ently reversed 14-3-3σ promoter methylation status and consequently upregulated the expression of 14-3-3σmRNA and protein in 4 nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines. High-differentiated CNE1 was more sensitive to 5-aza-2dC than lowly-differentiated CNE2, 5-8F and 6-10B. Conclusion Promoter methylation directly leads to decreased 14-3-3σ gene expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines, and 14-3-3σ promoter de-methylation perhaps indicates a new target for nasopharyngeal carcinoma treatment.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2016;32(3):437-440
Objective To compare the iodine contrast agent dosage, radiation dose and image quality in CT pulmonary angiogra-phy (CTPA)with low tube voltage and high tube current in 64-slice spiral CT.Methods 60 patients with suspected pulmonary em-bolism in our hospital were randomly chosen and divided into three groups:Group Ⅰ:20 patients, using 120 kV,180 mA,contrast dose of 70 mL.Group Ⅱ:20 patients, using 100 kV,280 mA,contrast dose of 50 mL.Group Ⅲ:20 patients, using 80 kV,automat-ic tube current modulation techniques (300-500 mA),comparative dose of 30 mL.CT values and image noise of three pulmonary central areas and a segment branch were measured in each group. Objective indicators, subjective image quality assessment,CT dose index volume (CTDIvol),dose-length product (DLP)and effective absorbed dose (ED)were compared in three groups to evaluate the value of low kV,high mA with low-contrast dose in CTPA.Analysis of variance and t-test was used for data analysis. Results Compared with those of the standard method of CTPA,all pulmonary dry in two groups of low dose were well displayed. There was no statistical significance between each two groups in image quality score (P > 0.05),but was statistical significance in CT values, noise,SNR and CNR (P < 0.01).The CT radiation dose,CTDIvol and DLP of Group Ⅱ and Group Ⅲ were significantly lower than those of Group Ⅰ (P < 0.01).Conclusion Compared with traditional methods, low dose contrast agent injections under 80 kV could reduce the dose of contrast agent and the effect of hardening artifacts due to contrast agent in superior vena cava on right pul-monary artery. It is helpful to reduce the risk of contrast induced nephropathy and reduce patients’exposure to X-ray radiation.
