1.A Comparative Study between CT Scan and Hepatoarteriography in Hepatic Carcinomas after Fully Filled with Lipiodol by TAE
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(02):-
Background: CT scan of hepatic carcinoma after transarterial embolization with Lipiodol (LP-TAE) will be influenced. A comparative study was made between CT scan and hepatoarteriography in hepatic carcinomas fully filled with Lipiodol after TAE for the purpose of demonstrating the difference. Materials and Methods: 20 cases of hepatic carcinoma fully filled with Lipiodol after TAE 1 to 8 months, confirmed by CT scans. Hepatoarteriography were then done 1 to 14 days afterwards. The demonstration of the original and new foci were thus be compared respec- tively by these methods. Results: The original tumor lesions were all stable on CT scans and new tumor lesions were found in 5 cases. Three features were found in arteriographies of the original tumor lesions: (1) stable, no obvious tumor vessels and stain; (2) tumor vessels and stains confined within the LP accumulated areas; (3) largely increased lesions exceeding the LP accumulated areas; (3)largely increased lesions exceeding the LP accumulated areas. Also other three features were found in new tumor lesion: (1) multiple intrahepatic daughter nodules; (2)small arterioportal shunts; (3) new masses. Conclusion: (1) Although good results had been archieved, but the lesions were not stabe in many of them. Long interval follow-up and TAE were not suitable. (2) Stage-Ⅱ surgical resection should be taken cautiously. (3) New techniques of CT scan and superselective he- patic arteriography with high flow rate should be adopted to improve the accuracy rate of de- monstrating tumor lesion.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2010;09(8):566-569
The CT images of 42 pathologically confirmed cases of gastrointestinal stromal tumors were reviewed, and compared with pathological results. In 20 cases, the lesions were located in stomach, 21 in small intestine, 1 in mesentery. In 18 cases pathologically confirmed as benign tumors, 16 were positive on CT scan, which presented round solid mass with homogeneous density, mean diameter of 3.8 cm (2 -6 cm), homogeneous enhancement on post-contrast scan. In 21 malignant cases all were on CT scan, which presented irregular or lobulated solid mass with heterogeneous density and cystic change inside, mean diameter of 10. 1 cm (4 - 30 cm) , heterogeneous enhancement with no enhancement in cystic part. In 3 potentially malignant cases, CT images showed irregular solid mass with homogeneous density, diameter of 4 - 8 cm, homogeneous enhancement in post-contrast scan. CT scan can accurately show the location and size of gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and is of important diagnostic value.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2009;8(10):746-747
The imaging of X-ray, CT and MRI of 25 cases of limb bone contusion were analyzed retrospectively. Twenty five cases of limb bone confusion were diagnosed by MRI imaging, including 18 cases(72% ) in knee joint,4 cases(16%) in anklebone,2 cases(8%) in wrist and 1 case(4%) in elbow joint. But only 3 cases (12%)presented partial positive results in CT imaging and there was no bone contusion diagnosed. No abnormal manifestation in X-ray imaging for all 25 cases. The results suggest that MRI examination is valuable for diagnose of limb bone contusion.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(9):1337-1342
BACKGROUND:Traditional total knee arthroplasty adopts medial parapatel ar approach, which induces severe trauma, requires long-term rehabilitation, and interferes the end point of quadriceps femoral tendon on superior patel ar pole. Total knee arthroplasty by subvastus approach has no impact on the knee-extension equipment, but it cannot provide sufficient exposure of surgical field and can induce damage to femoral muscle, so its application and safety need further exploration.
OBJECTIVE:To explore clinical effect of total knee arthroplasty by subvastus approach and medial parapatel ar approach.
METHODS:A total of 78 patients with 82 knees who were candidates for total knee arthroplasty were randomly divided into two groups. Treatment group (39 cases;41 knees) was given subvastus approach and control group (39 cases;41 knees) was given median parapatel ar approach. The knee function, range-of-motion of knee joint and complications after total knee arthroplasty were observed and compared.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with control group, the operation time in treatment group was significantly increased, while the postoperative wound drainage, straight leg raising time and walking time were obviously reduced (P<0.05). The scores of HSS before surgery and 12 weeks after surgery were not significantly different between the two groups (P>0.05), while at 1 and 6 weeks after surgery the scores in treatment group were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The range-of-motion of knee joint and MMT rank for quadriceps muscle were significantly improved in two groups after treatment (P<0.05), and those indicators in treatment group were more significant than the control group (P<0.05). The incidences of complications in treatment group and control group were 2.6%and 15.4%, respectively, with statistical y significant difference (P<0.05). The total knee arthroplasty by subvastus approach has less impact on the extensor mechanism, improves the recovery of knee function and range-of-motion of knee joint, and reduces the incidence of complications.

Journal of Environment and Health 1989;0(06):-
Objective To study the adverse effect of amatoxins on DNA in the histiocytes of rats and the antagonism of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Methods SD rats were randomly divided into three groups, the number of males and females was the same. The rats in the experimental groups were respectively treated with amatoxins(0.1 mg/kg bw, i.p.) and amatoxins added EPA, DHA (both were 10 mg/kg bw, i.p.) for 10 days. Single cell gel-electrophoresis was employed to test the damage of DNA in the histiocytes. Results In the group treated with amatoxins, DNA damage in the peripheral lymphocyte, hepatocytes, lung cells ,brain cells was more seriously compared with the control, but no significant DNA damage was seen in the group treated with amatoxins added EPA, DHA. Conclusion Amatoxins may induce DNA damage and eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid have an antagonism to the adverse effect of amatoxins.

Objective To investigate the curative effect and influential factors of small hepatocellular carcinoma (SHCC) treated by interventional therapy. Methods 42 patients with SHCC were treated by interventional therapy. Some possible prognostic factors were analysed with COX proportional hazard regression model. Results (1)Hepatic arteriographic manifestations: 26 of 42 cases SHCC revealed rich tumor vessels, 37 had tumor stain including 34 with nodular stain. (2)The overall 1 , 3 , 5 year survival rates of SHCC using Kaplan Meier method were 88%(37/42),74%(31/42),51%(21/42), respectively. (3)Clinical staging and typing of the patients, and accumulation of Lipiodol within the tumor obviously influenced interventional effects of SHCC. Conclusion (1) The most important diagnostic angiographic sign of SHCC is tumor staining, besides tumor vessels. (2) Interventional therapy of SHCC has an ideal effect and should be an important nonoperable curative method.

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(07):-
Objective To investigate the distribution and the rate of drug sensitivity of dysenteric bacilli in Beijing from 2003 to 2004 so as to guide the choice of antibacterial. Methods This was a retrospective study. 254 shigellae were cultured from stool. The group and serotype were identified with biochemical and serologic tests. Kirby-Bauer method was used to detect the drug sensitivity rate. Results There were 196 strains of Shigellae flexneri and 58 Shigellae sonnei a-mong 254 strains of shigellae. The number of F4 was 106 strains in Shigellae flexneri. SMZ resistance rate was the highest ; fluoroquinolones, the third generation cephalosporins and phosphonomycins had much more sensitivity. The drug sensitivity rate to fluoroquinolones between Shigellae flexneri and Shigellae sonnei was different. Conclusion In 2003 and 2004, Shigellae flexneri is the dominant group in 254 Shigellae in Beijing. F4 is the dominant serotype among Shigellae flexneri. On antibacterial effects, fluoroquinolones is one of the most effective drug, but had a certain resistance rate. If the pathogen is resistant to fluoroquinolones, the third generation cephalosporins or phosphonomycins can be used.
