OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for compliance and rationality of drug use. METHODS:Cases of all kinds of patients’factor-induced irrational drug use were interviewed and analyzed. RESULTS:Patient factors included over-dependence on injection,cognition deficiency to characteristics and treatment course of their diseases,over-worry about ADR and obstinate adherence to their own drug habit. CONCLUSION:It’s necessary to strengthen pharmaceutical administration and pharmaceutical care by publicizing,communicating and conducting to strengthen the compliance and rationality.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluation the effects of the regulatory measures on the clinical application of quinolones. METHODS: The consumption sum and its proportion in the total in major clinical departments before and after the enforcement of the regulatory measures were analyzed, which were compared with the data from the synchronous case files so as to evaluate the rationality of the use of quinolones. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: Quinolones were predominantly used in six departments including the department of respiratory diseases. After the initiation of the regulatory measures, the consumption sum of quinolones decreased in most departments, suggesting the positive effect of the regulatory measures.

Objective: To test the mechanical properties o f N48 NdFeB magnet.Methods:Samples of N48 NdFeB magnet in the size of 2 mm?3 mm?4 mm were prepared, the residual flux density,coercive force and maximum energy product of the samples were measured, the magnetic density aroun d the magnets,the attractive and repulsive force between two magnets in 0~10 mm air gap were investegated.Results:The residual flux density of t he N48 NdFeB magnet was 1.373 T, coercive force 1 037 A/m and maximum energ y product 368 kJ/m 3.The magnetic density at magnet surface was 0.338 T,it decr eased to 0 at the point that leave magnet surface 20 mm away. The highest attrac tive force was 4.47 N between two magnets, the attractive force was 4.47~0.39 N in 0~5 mm air gap.The highest repulsive force was 2.82 N and the repulsive force was 2.82~0.39 N in 0~5 mm air gap.Conclusion:The magnetic and m echanical properties of the N48 NdFeB magnet can meet the standard of the orthod ontic force.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of target-controlled infusion (TCI) of etomidate and remifentanil for endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA).Methods Sixtynine ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients of both sexes,aged 35-71 yr,weighing 41-83 kg,scheduled for elective EBUS-TBNA,were randomly divided into 3 groups ( n =23 each).In group Ⅰ,anesthesia was induced with TCI of propofol and iv injection of fentanyl 4 μg/ml,and the target plasma concentration (Cp) of propofol was set at 3-4 μg/ml.In group Ⅱ ,anesthesia was induced with TCI of propofol ( Cp 3-4 μg/ml) and remifentanil ( Cp 5 ng/ml).In group Ⅲ ,anesthesia was induced with TCI of etomidate (Cp 0.3-0.4 μg/ml) and remifentanil (Cp 5 ng/ml).After the patients lost consciousness,laryngeal mask airway was inserted to perform mechanical ventilation.PETCO2 was maintained at 30-40 mm Hg.BIS value was maintained at 40-60.The use of vasoactive agents (perdipine,ephedrine,atropine and esmolol) and occurrence of bucking during operation,emergence time,and the occurrence of nausea and vomiting within 24 h after operation were recorded.Blood samples were collected from the femoral vein at 30 min before induction,at the end of operation and at 24 h after operation for determination of the plasma cortisol concentration.Results The incidence of bucking and nausea and vomiting was significantly lower,the emergence time was significantly shorter,and the number of patients who needed vasoactive agents during operation was significantly smaller in groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ than in group Ⅰ ( P ＜ 0.05).The number of patients who needed vasoactive agents during operation was significantly smaller in group Ⅲ than in group Ⅱ (P ＜0.05).Compared with groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ,the plasma cortisol concentration was significantly decreased at the end of operation in group Ⅲ (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in the plasma cortisol concentration at each time point between groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ (P＞0.05).Conclusion TCI of etomidate (Cp 0.3-0.4 μg/ml) and remifentanil (Cp 5 ng/ml) can provide satisfactory anesthesia for EBUS-TBNA with few adverse effects.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for improving the rationality of the personnel of pharmacy department and pro-moting the development of related pharmacy work in hospitals of Bengbu. METHODS:Questionnaire was designed to investigate and statistically analyze the general situation of secondary and tertiary hospitals in Bengbu in aspects of personnel,dispensing work-load and post setting,suggestions were put forward. RESULTS:Totally 13 questionnaires were sent out,10 were effectively re-ceived with the effective rate of 76.9%. The average proportion of investigated pharmacy staff to the whole health technical workers was 5.0%;primary pharmacist was 39.0%,chief pharmacist was 2.2%;college education was 44.9%,master degree or above was 3.0% ;the average daily prescription volume of outpatient was 375,daily trips of inpatient department was 267;4.4% of the staff were engaged in clinical pharmacy,only 4 hospitals carried out clinical pharmacy work;only 1 hospital had the Pharmacy Intrave-nous Admixture Service (PIVAS). CONCLUSIONS:The hospital pharmacy personnel configuration is not reasonable in Bengbu, dispensing is overloaded,the development of PIVAS is lagging behind,clinical pharmacy work remains to be further improved. It is suggested to promote the work of hospital pharmacy by increasing the numbers of pharmacy personnel,technical titles and practi-cal skills of the pharmacy staff,strengthening the construction of PIVAS and the cultivation of clinical pharmacists according to the condition.

Objective To study the security of low dose and half-body irradiation by 60Co ?-rays as a new method of clinical radiotherapy.Methods The simulated manikin was used to simulate human body and two radiation modalities of facing and backing on radioactive source were adopted.Half-body irradiation was done by 60Co ?-rays with doses of 9,10 and 11 cGy.The exposure dose of every layer and important target organs in the simulated manikin were detected,and the security of low dose and half-body irradiation as a therapeutic method was evaluated.Results The exposure dose of every layer and sensitive organs were all within safety margin,when simulated manikin facing or backing on the radioactive source was irradiated by 60Co ?-rays with doses of 9,10 and 11 cGy.Further,the exposure dose of sensitive organs in the simulated manikin backing on the radioactive source was lower than that in those facing the radioacive source.Conclusion The method of low dose and half-body irradiation as a radiotherapeutic method is safe and feasible and the radiation modality of backing on the radioactive source is more safe.

Purpose To investigate the expression level and the role of TUSC7 in human cutaneous malignant melanoma (CMM).Methods Quantitative real time-PCR (qRT-PCR) assay was performed to detect the expression of TUSC7 in 60 cases of CMM tissues,20 cases of benign nevus,4 CMM cell lines,and one normal human epidermal melanocytes.Then overexpression of TUSC7 was performed and its role in tumor progression was explored.Results TUSC7 expression was significantly downregulated in primary CMM tissues (n =60) compared to benign nevi (n =20),which were significantly downregulated in all the four melanoma cell lines,especially in A375 cells,compared with the normal melanocytes cells (all P ＜ 0.05).In comparison with the A375 cells transfected with the empty plasmid,those transfected with pcDNA-TUSC7 showed an obvious decrease in the proliferation and colony formation activity,while increase in the apoptosis rate (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Our results suggested that the dysregulation of TUSC7 may play an important role in the CMM progression.

Objective To study the feasibility of percutaneous pedicle screw fixation in treatment of thoraco-lumbar fractures.Methods Twenty-two patients with thoraeo-lumbar fractures were treated with the posterior percutaneous or open pedicle screw fixation respectively.Operation time,the bleeding volume,the height of the anterior border,the cobb angles of seoliosis,the late loss of correction,and complications were compared.Results All patients were followed up for mean 19 months(13 to 22 months).In percutaneous group,the mean time of operation was 102 minutes,the anterior height of compressed vertebral bodies was restored from 52% to 95% of the normal height,and the Cobb angle was corrected from 16?to 6.3?,the mean late loss of correction was 13% in percutaneous group,and there were no significant differences between the two groups(P＞0.05).The mean bleeding volume in the percutaneous group and open group was 102 ml and 290 ml respectively,which showed significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion Posterior percutaneous pedicle screw fixation in treatment of thoracolumar fractures,which didn't need vertebral canal decompression,was a perfect and effective method.Compared with open method,it had such strongpoints as quicker recovery and less invasive.

In order to identify novel genes involved in spermatogenesis, testis cDNA samples from Balb/C mice of different postnatal days were hybridized with the whole mouse genome Affymetrix chip to screen the testis-specific genes. The characteristics of the selected genes were analyzed by RT-PCR as well as other bioinformatic tools. A novel differentially expressed testis-specific gene (GenBank Accession No: NM_029042) in the developmental stages of testes was identified, and named TSCPA. Cellular mapping prediction of TSCPA indicated that its protein was probably expressed in nuclei, and one putative domain (aa 332-377) was anchoring domain of cAMP-dependent type II PK. The result of subcellular localization of GFP-TSCPA fusion protein in Cos-7 cells showed that TSCPA protein was expressed in nuclei. RT-PCR analysis revealed that TSCPA was expressed specifically in mouse and human testis. TSCPA gene was expressed weakly in 21-day-old mouse testis and the expression was increased gradually from 38th day to 6th month of mouse testes. No expression of hTSCPA was found in cryptorchidism and Sertoli-cell-only syndrome patients. It was concluded that the expression profile of TSCPA in human and mice indicated that TSCPA might play an important role in spermatogenesis.

BACKGROUND:Serious patel ar comminuted fractures can be treated by a number of methods such as cerclage with tension band steel wire or steel wire, or fixation with the nickel titanium patel a concentrator and absorption lines, or cerclage with 10# double-loop wire plus fixation with split-type patel a claws or with the memory al oy patel a concentrator. But it is difficult to achieve strongly fixed effect on patel a fractures by these methods.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical effects of suture with polyester braided wire and cerclage with belt lock cable on serious comminuted patel ar fractures.
METHODS:A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 57 patients with serious comminuted patel ar fractures who received suture with polyester braided wire and cerclage with belt lock cable from January 2007 to October 2012. According to AO classification of fractures, there were nine cases of type B3, 22 cases of type C2 and 26 cases of type C3. After satisfactory reduction of comminuted patel ar fractures during the operation, firstly we sewed up both sides of the expansion region of quadriceps muscle and stitched on periosteum and prepatel ar tissue with thick polyester braided wire fol owed by patel ar cerclage with belt lock cable. According to the stability of fracture blocks, tension band fixation with polyester braided wire was partial y added. After the operation, the clinical effects were assessed based on the Bostman score system.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Total y 46 out of 57 cases were fol owed up with an average of 8 months (4-18 months). Al patients obtained bone union within 3-5 months. Wounds healed in the first stage without any infections, and fractures in al patients healed without complications such as implant loosening and skin irritation. According to the Bostman score system, 33 cases were scored excellent, 10 good and three fair. The excellent and good rate was 93.5%. It suggests that treatment of serious patel ar comminuted fracture by the combination of polyester braided wire and belt lock cable leads to closely contact fracture sites and reliably fix bone fragments. It can facilitate early postoperative range of motion exercises.
