Chronic diarrhea in children is often accompanied by malnutrition,growth disorders,immune dis-function and repeated infection due to deferment diarrhea and malabsorption of nutrients, which could influence the physical and mental development of children. The etiology and pathogenesis of chronic diarrhea are complex. The causes of chronic diarrhea are different in children with different ages,different regions and countries.

In recent years,gastrointestinal microbiota and fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)has gained rapidly development.The recent studies demonstrated that FMT has obvious clinical efficacy and safety on the treatment of clostridium difficile infection,inflammatory bowel disease and other diseases in adult.The present article will discuss the efficacy of FMT in treating digestive diseases in children.This review summarizes therapeutic advances in FMT,latest FMT therapies and presents the potential of FMT therapeutics in gastrointestinal and extra-intestinal conditions in children.

Objective To explore the early diagnosis and standard treatment of autoimmune hepatitis (AIH).Methods The process of clinical diagnosis and treatment in 2 children with AIH was retrospectively analyzed.The related literatures were reviewed.Results Two males were 6 years and 1 month old and 6 monthes and 18 days old,respectively.Both of them had the symptom of jaundice at onset,accompanied with the elevate aminotransferase and positive autoantibodies.One case showed elevated serum IgG and interface hepatitis in liver pathology,and all other causes were excluded.He had a good response to the treatment of hormone combined with azathioprine.The other case had a poor response to the treatment of single hormone.Conclusions Childhood AIH is rare in clinic.Its response to the therapy of glucocorticoid and immune inhibitors is good.So it should be diagnosised and treated early.

Purpose To investigate the expression of c-myc and MDM2 protein in multiple myeloma (MM) and their correlation with clinical stage.Methods Immunohistochemical SP three-step method was used to detect the expression of MDM2 and c-myc protein in 60 cases of MM with different clinical stages and 10 cases of nontumorous bone marrow tissue.Results The positive rate of c-myc protein in MM and nontumorous bone marrow tissue were 71.7％ and 10.0％;the positive rate of MDM2 protein in two tissues were 80.0％ and 20.0％,respectively.The expression difference of two proteins between MM and nontumorous bone marrow tissue was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The expression of c-myc and MDM2 protein was positively correlated with MM clinical ISS stage (P ＜ 0.05),but irrelevant with the age and gender.The expression of c-myc and MDM2 protein in MM was positively correlated (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The c-myc and MDM2 protein have a highly expression in MM,and it may be relative to the occurrence of MM and clinical stage.In the MM,c-myc and MDM2 protein may have synergetic functions and promote the development of tumor.

Objective To evaluate the changes parameters of polysomnographic ( PSG) with different subtypes of primary Parkinson's disease ( PD ) and analyze the clinical characteristics of sleep disorders in PD patients. Methods Ninety patients with primary PD [ tremor-predominant PD group ( n = 40 ) , postural instability gait disorder ( PIGD )-predominant PD group ( n = 50 ) ] and 50 healthy controls were detected by full night PSG monitoring. And the results were compared. Results Compared with tremor-predominant PD group, the total sleep time, bed time, sleep wake-up times, sleep efficiency and rapid eye movement ( REM ) sleep time of PIGD-predominant PD group were significantly lower (all P<0. 05), however, the sleep latency, S1 (min), S1 (%), S2 (min), S2 (%), S3+S4(min), S3+S4 (%) had no statistical significance (all P>0. 05). Compared with the controls, the total sleep time and bed time of tremor-predominant PD group were significantly lower (all P<0. 05), however, the sleep wake-up times, sleep efficiency, REM sleep time, sleep latency, S1 ( min ) , S1 (%) , S2 (min), S2 (%), S3 + S4 (min), S3 + S4 (%) had no statistical significance (all P>0. 05). Combined with video surveillance video observation,the abnormality of REM sleep behavior disorder ( RBD) was 70% with PIGD-predominant PD group, in which the abnormality of tremor-predominant PD group was 2. 5%. Conclusions The PIGD-predominant PD patients are more likely to appear sleep disorders and RBD than tremor-predominant PD patients. It may be related to clinical heterogeneity of different PD subtypes.

Objective To compare the transfection efficiency of galactosylated chitosan nanoparticle vehicle with chitosan nanoparticles vehicle,and observe the therapeutic effect of pGL3-hTERTp-TK on HCC cell line HepG2. Methods Preparing the chitosan and galaetosylated chitosan. Constructing the pGL3-hTERTp-TK plasmid and the Ch/DNA and GC/DNA complexes.Transfecting the HepG2 and the normal hepatic cell L-02 with chitosan/DNA and galactosylated chitosan/DNA complexs.Detecting the fluorescence and the expression of luciferase gene using the fluorescent microscope and the scintillation counter.Detecting the cell growth and apoptosis through the Caspase-3 and the flow cytometry. Results Two clear straps appeared in the agarose gel.The locations were 300 bp and 1100 bp.The relative lueiferase activity of pGL3-hTERTp-Luc+mediated by galactosylated chitosan was powerful than which of pGL3-hTERTp-Luc+mediated by chitosan in HepG2 by the scintillation counter.However,the relative luciferase activity was very weak in L-02.The same results were observed by fluorescent microscope.When the concertration of the GCV was 10 μg/ml(t=51.40,P=0.000),the HepG2 cell inhibition which was transfected by GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK was obviously different from the L-02 cell inhibition which was transfected by GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK in the statistics.The significant apoptotic rate was 65.28%in HepG2 which was transfected with GC/DNA,whereas it was only 10.80% in L-02. The significant apoptotic rate in HepG2 which was transfected with GC/DNA was very higher than the other groups (LSD, P ＜0.05). The significant apoptotic rate (10.80%) in L-02 which was transfected with GC/DNA was very higher than the group which was Ch-pGL3-control (LSD, P =0.000). The average fluorescence intensity of the HepG2 which is transfected by the Ch-pGL3-hTERTp-TK was 168.02± 3.68. The average fluorescence intensity of the HepG2 which is transfected by the GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK was 204.45 ±3.45. The two groups had a significant difference in the statistics (t=-12.504, P＜0.05). Conclusion Galactosylated chitosan has higher transfection efficiency than chitosan. GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK could specially attack HCC cell line and almost has no influence on normal hepatic cells.

Objective To observe the effect of dexamethasone on the levels of IL-12 and IL-13 in bronchoaveolar la-vage fluid (BALF) and serum in rats with Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) infection. To explore the mechanism of treatment MP pneumonia by dexamethasone. Methods A total of one hundred rats were randomly divided into four groups:azithromycin in-tervened group (n=25); dexamethasone intervened group (n=25); azithromycin and dexamethasone combination intervened group (n=25);control group (n=25). The rat model of MP pneumonia was established by dropping pneumonia bacterial liquid to its nasal cavity on day 0, 1, 2, and 3. Four groups received different interventions at the second day when the model was estab-lished successfully. Amounts of IL-12 and IL-13 in BALF and serum were measured by ELISA, the inflammatory infiltration of lung tissues was evaluated on day 3, 5 and 8. Results Compared with the control group, the expression of IL-12 and IL-13 in se-rum and BALF in azithromycin intervened group and combination intervened group had a significant difference (P<0.05) on day 3, 5 and 8. Amount of IL-12 in serum in combination intervened group was higher than azithromycin intervened group on day 3, whereas IL-13 was lower than that in azithromycin intervened group (P<0.05). Conclusions Dexamethasone can relieve inflammatory infiltration of lung tissues in rats.

Usually, the frequency of heartbeat can be used to discriminate different kinds of arrhythmia from a normal cardiac rhythm, but the result is not satisfying. This paper presents a method that can differ ventricular fibrillation (VF) and ventricular tachycardia (VT) from a normal sinus rhythm (NSR). VT and VF are fatal arrhythmia for patients, but timely electroshock is a good remedy for them. The method above can be integrated into the monitor system or telemedicine to diagnose patients and then treat them properly. With auto regressive (AR) model applied to modeling, Itakura and Euclidian distance measurements are used to classify data. With this method, VF and VT conditions are detected with error less than 10%.

Objectives To study the clinical characteristics and early diagnosis of infant with both alpha 1 antitrypin deficiency (α1-ATD) and biliary atresia (BA). Methods The clinical characteristics, serum biochemical parameters, gene mutations and treatment of one infant with both α1-ATD and BA was reported. Related literatures about liver disease caused by α1-ATD were reviewed and analyzed. Results The infant was characterised with neonatal cholestasis, hepatomegaly, elevated serum ALT, AST, total bilirubin (TB), direct bilirubin (DB) and γ-glutamyltransferase (γ-GT) and absence of bile secretion from the duodenal drainage tube. BA was conifrmed by laparotomy and pathological examination and Kasai′s operation was performed. Further, the infant was confirmed by SERPINA 1 gene mutation analysis, which leads to the diagnosis of α1-ATD. The case of infant with both alpha 1 ATD and BA has not yet been reported at home and abroad. According to the literatures, children with α1-ATD were characterized with cholestasis, hepatomegaly, hypoproteinemia, high serum ALT and AST, coagulation disorders caused by vitamin K 1 deifciency and hepatic dysfunction. Prognosis was poor without early diagnosis and treatment. Conclusions For infant cholestasis, a lot of auxiliary examinations should be performed to identify the etiology of cholestasis. Gene analysis could help differential diagnosis. Prompt diagnosis and early treatment are the key to improve the survival rate and prognosis.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the economic efficiency of three oral administration schemes in treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy(BPH).METHODS:73patients with BPH were divided into three groups:group A,Pule’an,group B,Alfuxosin hydrochloride,group C,Finasteride.Data was evaluated using the pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness analysis. RESULTS:The effective rates in the group B and group C were higher than that in group A,the effective rate in group B was comparable to that in group C.The cost-effectiveness ratios of A,B,C were1.30,1.80,4.36,respectively.Using sensitivity analysis,the cost-effectiveness ratios were1.17,1.62,3.92,respectively.CONCLUSION:Among the three schemes,scheme B was the best one.
