Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(07):-
Objective: A HPCE capillary zone eletrophoretic method for the determination of evodiamine in Fructus Evodia was established. Similarly, areliable HPCE-FPS (fingerprint spectrum) was applied to compare quality of Fructus Evodia to 14 samples of 3 species from different areas. Methods: The evodiamine was detected on 254nm and proteins was on 196nm、254nm by HPCE. The electrophoretic parameters were optimized by studying the efffect of the buffer composition. Results: Calibration graph was constructed in the range 1.944 ?g?mL -1~7.766 ?g?mL -1 for evodiamine (r=0.9974). The regression equation was y= 188.7x-32.1. The average recovery was 101.3 (n=3). In this paper, the proteins of Frutus Evodia HPCE-FPS was established at 196nm and 254nm. Conclusion: Content of evodiamine from Fructus Evodia was determined by HPCE-CZE and HPCE-FPS and distinguished three species from different growing areas related to intrinsic quality of them. The research provides new technique for evaluating quality of traditional Chinese medicine.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(10):-
Objective: To develop a HPLC method for simultaneous determination of catechins (EGC、DC、EGCG、EC、GCG、ECG) and caffeine in tea polyphenols and to quantify seven ingredients in twenty nine batches of tea polyphenols samples from thirteen producers. Methods: The study was achieved using a C 18 column with a methanol water 0.1% formic acid gradient elution system. Results: The peak resolutions of seven ingredients in mixed standards were all above 2; The resolutions in samples were all above 1.5 except EGCG; The average recoveries were 98.56%~100.14%. Conclusion: This method is accurate, stable, reproducible and suitable for quality control of tea polyphenols; the variations of contents are obvious among tea polyphenols samples from different even the same producers.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(07):-
AIM: To discuss the application of overlapping ratio to the fingerprints of plant and plant extract. METHODS: We took the HPLC fingerprints of green tea and tea polyphenols for decision procedure. RESULTS: Overlapping ratio could be applied to selecting representative samples for characteristic fingerprints of green tea and tea polyphenols, and could be used to deduce the raw material, process and producer of tea polyphenols.(CONCLUSION:) Overlapping ratio can be used to choose the suitable samples for establishing the characteristic fingerprint spectrum, and can supply references to relationship investigation among products, raw material and process.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2004;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE To analyze the application of antibacterials in liver transplanted patients of our hospital in order to improve the rational use of antibacterials in perioperative period of liver transplantation.METHODS According to the criteria of DDD and DUI recommended by WHO,a retrospective study of the application of antibacterials in 82 patients with liver transplantation who discharged hospital during from Jun 2003 to Jun 2005 was made.RESULTS Among the 82 patients,100.0% patients had received antibacterials and 48 patients received combined medication,in which 45.10% used two kinds and 13.41% used three kinds. The longest medication time was 49 days while the shortest was 10 days.Nineteen antibacterials′ DUI were all less than one except meropenem whose DUI was 1.03.CONCLUSIONS This study proved that patients with liver transplantation in our hospital received rational antibacterials.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(05):-
Objective: To establish the quality assessment of Cordyceps and its cultured Cmycelia by TLC fingerprint, and to compare the content of the nucleotides between them. Methods: Adenosine, Uridine and Guannosine were detemined by TLC-Scanning samples were perfomed by fluorescence quenching analyis. Results: The contents of adenosiue, uridine, and guanosine from cordyceps mycelia were more than that of cordyceps from wildlife. Conclusion: This method is convenient and rapid, and it can effectively evaluate nucleotides in nature Cordyceps and culture Cordyceps.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2009;17(5):290-293
Objective To investigate low plasma total cholesterol concentration in hospitalized patients, which is associated with malnourishment. Methods A total of 358 inpatients who were treated in our hospital from January 1 to February 1,2009,were enrolled. The relationships between low plasma total cholesterol (TC) level and other parameters were analyzed. Results Irrespective of women or men,the morbidities of low plasma TC,low plasma albumin, low plasma total proteins, low plasma triglyceride (TG) and low hemoglobin (Hb) levels were highly consistent with the result of subjective global assessment (SGA) (P <0.05).Plasma TC concentration was positively correlated with albumin,TG,Hb,lymph cells number, and body mass index (P<0.05).TC levels were different between men and women (P <0.0001).Meanwhile,low plasma TC level was not correlated with age,but it was correlated with total parenteral nutrition. Conclusion Low plasma TC concentration may relate to malnourished hospitalized patients.

Objective To analyze the impact of rs3826392 polymorphism in MKK4 promoter on prognosis of colorectal cancer cases (CRC) receiving adjuvant chemotherapy. Methods The associations between rs3826392 genotype of 203 CRC cases receiving adjuvant chemotherapy and clinicopathologic factors, overall survival (OS), disease free survival (DFS) were analyzed retrospectively. Results No association was found between rs3826392 genotype and clinicopathologic factors (P > 0.05). TG+GG genotype had better OS (P = 0.018) and DFS (P =0.019) when compared with TT genotype. Cox multivariate model showed rs3826392 TG+GG genotype remained independent favorable factor for OS(HR = 0.389;95%CI = 0.177-0.855) and DFS(HR=0.491;95%CI = 0.271-0.890) respectively. Conclusion -1304G variant genotypes (i.e., TG+GG) in rs3826392 may be the biomarker of better prognosis in CRC receiving adjuvant chemotherapy.
