A rapid method was developed for the determination of 9 organophosphorous flame retardants ( OPFRs) in textiles by ultra high performance liquid chromatography tandem electrospray ionization mass spectrometry ( UHPLC-MS/MS ) . Analytes in textile samples were extracted in a closed bottle at 50℃ with methanol by ultrasonic extraction for 30 min. And then, the extracted solution was injected after filtration and determined by UHPLC-MS/MS. Target analytes were separated by C18 column and methanol/water containing 5. 0 mmol/L NH4 COOH. The positive electrospray ionization and multiple reaction monitoring mode ( MRM) was utilized. The matrix effect (ME) could be compensated by adjusting the concentration of NH4COOH and the composition of the mobile phase after careful investigation with blank samples. An external standard calibration method was chosen to the quantitative analysis. Under the optimized conditions, method precision represent with relative standard deviations (RSDs) was 5. 2% (TOCP) -12. 5% (TRIS) for cotton, 6. 4%(TBEP)-13. 8% (TRIS) for polyester, and 6. 9% (TDCP) -14. 5% (TEPA) for wool samples. The recoveries for standard addition were in the range of 52 . 5% ( TEPA ) -116 . 4% ( TPP ) . The limits of quantification (LOQ, S/N=10) were between 1. 0 (TBP) and 10. 0 (TRIS) μg/kg.

Chronic stress can induce hippocampus injury such as neuron loss, dendrite atrophy, but its mechanism and molecular basis remain unclear up to now. To understand the molecular mechanism on protein level and find the crucial proteins which correlated with chronic stress-induced injury, two-dimensional electrophoresis was applied to separate the hippocampal total proteins of control group and restraint stressed rats, then the differential expressed proteins were detected by image analysis and identified by matrix assisted laser desorption /ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) as well as database searching. Moreover, the 2-DE results were verified on the mRNA level by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. The hippocampal 2-DE map with high resolution and good reproducibility of control and stress group rats were obtained. Fourteen differentially expressed protein spots were detected and eleven proteins were successfully identified, most of these proteins were involved in the process of energy metabolism and signal transduction. These results provide a clue for elucidating the mechanism of chronic stress-induced hippocampal injury and are useful for elevating the adaptability to stress.

Objective To detect serum levels of thyroid hormones in patients with thyroid nodules (TN), and investi-gate their relationship with the nature of TN. Methods A total of 245 patients with TN were recruited in the study. Accord-ing to levels of thyroid antibodies and postoperative pathological results, all patients were divided into nodular goiter (NG) group, thyroid adenoma (TA) group and thyroid cancer (TC) group. TC group was further classified as the TC with increased level of thyroid antibodies (TC-AB+group) and the TC with normal level of thyroid antibodies (TC-AB-group). The serum levels of free T3 (FT3), free T4 (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) were detected for all patients before operation, and differences of thyroid hormones were analyzed between different groups. Results The serum level of TSH was signifi-cantly higher in TC group than that of NG group and TA group (P<0.05). The serum level of FT3 was significantly lower in TC-AB+group than that of NG group and TC-AB-group. The serum level of FT4 was significantly lower in TC-AB+group than that of NG group, and the serum TSH level was significantly higher than that of other groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The increased serum levels of TSH were found in some patients with TC, which may partly attribute to their coexistence with autoimmune thyroiditis and subsequent hypothyroidism. The increased serum TSH level may not be the inherent characteris-tics of TC.
