1.The evaluation of the quality of jaws after dental implants and its significance
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Implant performance is closely related to the load transmission at the bone-to-implant interface where bone quality will be highly variable. It has been demonstrated that poor quality bone is associated with high failure rates. To date,Digital Radiography,Dual energy X-ray absorptiometry and Computed tomography scan technique have gained increasing popularity for precise evaluation of the dental implant field in clinic, which would enable the surgeons to predict implant properties and immediate loading capacity before surgery.Individual preoperative measurements of local bone mineral density could be used to determine the best suited implant sites and types and optimize the prosthetic plan accordingly, which has important significance in the prognosis of the dental implants.

Recent years have witnessed great development of TLA (Total Laboratory Automation) technology, however, its application hit the bottleneck of high cost and openess to other parties' instruments. Specifically speaking, the initial purchase of the medical devices requires large sum of money and the new system can hardly be compatible with existing equipment. This thesis proposes a new thought for system implementation that through incremental upgrade, the initial capital investment can be reduced and through open architecture and interfaces, the seamless connection of different devices can be achieved. This thesis elaborates on the standards that open architecture design should follow in aspect of mechanics, electro-communication and information interaction and the key technology points in system implementation.

[ABSTRACT]AIM:ToevaluatetheeffectsofantisenseTGF-β1oligodeoxynucleotide(ASTGF-β1)ontheex-pression of TGF-β1 , deposition of extracellular matrix ( ECM) and the neointima formation in the arteries after balloon inju-ry.METHODS:The unmodified and phosphorothioate-modified AS TGF-β1 which containing 15 bases and surrounding the initiation codon region (ATG) of rat TGF-β1 complementary DNA (cDNA) were designed. At the same time, sense TGF-β1 oligodeoxynucleotide ( S TGF-β1 ) with the base sequence complement to AS TGF-β1 was synthesized as a control . The oligodeoxynucleotides were introduced into in vivo and in vitro experiments , respectively .RESULTS:The AS TGF-β1 significantly inhibited the protein expression of TGF-β1 in a concentration-dependent manner , and S TGF-β1 did not have the same effect.Furthermore, no effect of the AS TGF-β1 on the mRNA expression of TGF-β1 in injured VSMCs was ob-served.Moreover, for the injured VSMCs, AS TGF-β1 significantly and concentration-dependently inhibited the basal DNA synthesis. Both AS TGF-β1 and S TGF-β1 did not exhibit dose-dependent effects on DNA synthesis in uninjured VSMCs . Fibronectin ( FN) mRNA expression in injured VSMCs was significantly decreased by AS TGF-β1 in a concentration (0.01~1 μmol/L)-dependent manner .AS TGF-β1 significantly increased the mRNA expression of contractile marker SM 22α, and decreased the mRNA expression of synthetic markers osteopontin and matrix Gla , especially at the concentration of 0.01μmol/L and 0.1 μmol/L.After treatment with AS TGF-β1 (90 μg· kg-1 · d-1 ) for 28 d, the neointima formation was significantly inhibited , and the area ratio of intima/media was markedly decreased by 68% compared with untreated group , but S TGF-β1 had no effect on neointimal formation .CONCLUSION:The AS TGF-β1 specifically inhibits the pro-tein expression of TGF-β1 in the VSMCs derived from injured arteries .Moreover , it significantly inhibits DNA synthesis and cell proliferation, and decreases the expression of FN .Therefore, AS TGF-β1 dramatically attenuates neointima formation after balloon njury .The effects of AS TGF-β1 on the injured VSMCs may be associated with its reverse effects on the altera-tion of VSMC phenotype after balloon injury .

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
Objective To explore the photographic parameter for CR image splicing of double total length lower extremities and the evaluation of clinical application. Methods The suitable X-ray exposure conditions for full-leg digital radiograph was chosen according to the application of FCR-5000 CR imaging system and the exposure conditions of CR in osseous system. Results Optimal tube voltage and milliamp-second of parameters for the full-length leg projection was acquired in terms of the distribution of spatial resolution under different parameters of exposure. Conclusion The exposure parameter of CR in full-leg image stitching should be based on the characteristics of CR imaging system and the results of experiment. It is important to choose the most appropriate exposure parameters to ensure image quality and reduce radiation dose on patients to provide veracious image data for clinical application with osteoarthritis of the knee.

Objective To explore clinical characteristics of patients with cerebral infarction(CI) complicated with metabolic syndrome(MS) and their correlation with severity of cerebrovascular stenosis. Methods A total of 585 cases with CI were retrospectively studied. The patients were catogorized in to groups with and without MS according to NCEP-ATPⅢ diagnostic criteria. Severity of cerebrovascular were evaluated by CT. ResultsTwo hundred ninty cases(49.6%) complicated with MS showed higher body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, blood pressure, serum total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride (TG), uric acid (UA), fasting blood glucose (FBG), two hours postprandial blood glucose (2 h PBG), glucosylated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c), and lower high-densitylipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C) than those without MS. Larger size and multiple infarcts and more serious score of neurological deficit were shown in patients complicated with MS. Severity of cerebrovascular disease disclosed by CT was positively related to levels of waist circumferene, blood pressure, TC, TG, HbA1c, FBG and 2 h PBG while in versely related to the levels of HDL-C (r=-1.23, P

OBJECTIVE:To determine the plasma mycophenolic acid concentration by HPLC, and study the multidoses pharmacokinetics character of mycophenolic acid in Chinese kidney transplantation patients. METHODS: The samples were precipitated with acetonitrile before injection. Diamonsil C18 column was used. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-10 mmol?L-1 KH2PO4 (5∶6) at a flow rate of 1.1 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was 254 nm and the column temperature was 40 ℃. This method was used to determine the multidoses pharmacokinetics in 12 kidney transplantation patients. RESULTS: MPA was well-separated from internal standard in chromatography, and endogenous foreign substance in plasma had no interference on the determination. The liner range for MPA was 0.38~59.00 ?g?mL-1,and the lowest detectable concentration of MPA was 0.38 ?g?mL-1. The recovery rate stood at 89.32%~97.63%; Both intra-day and inter-day RSD were less than 8.00%. Significant individual difference was noted among the patients treated with MMF in pharmacokinetic results, which was in line with the literature. CONCLUSION: This method is accurate and simple and applicable for the pharmacokinetics study of mycophenolic acid.
