In the present study ,we aimed to observe the effect of curcumin on TSST-1-induced inflammatory cytokines in splenocytes of mouse and provide evidence for the further study on the effect of curcumin on inflammatory shock .Lactate de-hydrogenase (LDH) release assay was used to determine cytotoxicity of different doses of TSST-1 and curcumin .Inflammatory cytokines were determined by ELISA and flow cytometry .The doses of TSST-1 and curcumin we used in the present study did not cause significant cytotoxicity .TSST-1 induced higher level of IFN-γand IL-2 production but relatively lower level of TNF-α.The production of IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-12 was undetectable .TSST-1 induced Th1 cytokines (IFN-γand IL-2) were not IL-12-dependent which was different from LPS-induced IFN-γ.Curcumin significantly reduced IFN-γand TNF-αproduction at the concentration of 15 umol/L (P<0 .05) ,but had no effect on IL-2 production (P>0 .05) .It’s suggested that curcumin could significantly inhibit the production of IFN-γand TNF-αby splenocytes induced by TSST-1 ,but could not affect the prolifera-tion of T cells .

Objective To determine the minimal local analgesic dose (MLAD) of hypobaric levobupivacaine in elderly patients undergoing spinal anesthesia during lower limb surgery. Methods A total of 25 patients underwent spinal anesthesia with hypobaric levobupivacaine during lower limb surgery. The initial dose of levobupivaeaine was 7.50 mg for the first patient. The dose for next patient was added by 0.25 mg if the level of sensory block was lower than that of T10, conversely the dose was subtracted by 0.25 mg. The MLAD of hypobaric levobupivacaine was calculated with up-and-down sequential experiment according to Dixon-Messay method. Results The MLAD of hypobaric levobupivacaine were 6.67 mg (95% confidence interval: 6.34-7.25). The anesthesia effects of all patients were good. The degree of motor blockade of the healthy leg was less than another leg.The intraoperative and postoperative complications rates associated with spinal anesthesia were low. Conclusions The MLAD of hypobaric levobupivacaine is 6.67 mg in elderly patients undergoing spinal anesthesia during unilateral lower limb surgery.

In order to observe the effect of the immune and weight of chickens after use the attenuated vaccine with low dose of chicken infectious anemia virus (CIAV). In this study, the effects of low dose of CIAV on the weight of SPF chickens and NDV antibody production were observed by simulated experiments. The results showed that 10 EID50 and 5 EID50 CIAV per plume attenuated NDV vaccines were used to cause the weight loss of SPF chickens. Compared with the use of the non contaminated vaccine group, it has significant difference. And NDV antibody levels compared with the use of the non contaminated groups also decreased after use the vaccine with two doses of CIAV contaminated. It has significant difference. A certain proportion of CIAV antibody positive was detected at the beginning of the second week after use the NDV vaccine with two doses of CIAV contaminated. The detection of a high proportion of CIAV nucleic acid was detected in the first week after the use of a contaminated vaccine. The results of the study demonstrate the effects of CIAV pollution on the production and immune function of SPF chickens, and it is suggested that increasing the detection of viral nucleic acid can help save time and improve the detection rate in the detection of exogenous virus contamination by SPF chicken test method.

[Objectives]To investigate the protective effects of recombinant Trichinella spiralis excretory-secretory 53ku pro-tein(rTsP53)on acute lung injuries in mice.[Methods]Thirty Balb/c mice were randomly divided into normal group. ALI group and rTsP53 group(n=10,respectively). Macrophages were harvested by bronchoalveolar lavage. Mortality in 72 hours was counted and compared. Pathological damage of lung tissues was observed by HE staining and graded by Smith score. Wet/dry ratio was measured. The bronchoalveolar lavage fluid concertration of IL-6 and IL-4 was measured by ELISA. The mRNA expression of TNF-α,iNOS, IL-10 and Arg-1 in alveolar lavage macrophages was detected by RT-PCR.[Results]72 h mortality of ALI mice was 70%,which was reduced to 30% in mice received rTsP53 treatment. Compared with ALI mice, the pathological damage of in rTsP53 treated-mice was improved and Smith score was declined ,combined with descending W/D ratio. IL-6 level of alveolar lavage fluid was elevated in ALI mice compared with normal group. And alveolar lavage macrophage was polarized to M2 sub-type,appeared as higher mRNA expression of TNF-α and iNOS and lower level of IL-10 and Arg-1. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid concentration of IL-6 was declined and IL-4 was elevated in rTsP53-treated mice compared with ALI group. The macrophages of alveolar wash had higher mRNA expression of IL-10 and Arg-1,while lower level of TNF-α and iNOS,manifesting M2 polarization characteristics.[Conclusion]Recombinant T.spiralis P53 protein could protect mice from acute lung injuries induced by LPS via modulating M2 macrophage polarization, which play a role in depression of inflammatory reaction and tissue repairment.

Background:
Bovine papillomatosis is a type of proliferative tumor disease of skin and mucosae caused by bovine papillomavirus (BPV). As a transboundary and emerging disease in cattle, it poses a potential threat to the dairy industry.
Objectives:
The aim of this study is to detect and clarify the genetic diversity of BPV circulating in dairy cows in Xinjiang, China.
Methods:
122 papilloma skin lesions from 8 intensive dairy farms located in different regions of Xinjiang, China were detected by polymerase chain reaction. The genetic evolution relationships of various types of BPVs were analyzed by examining this phylogenetic tree.
Results:
Ten genotypes of BPV (BPV1, BPV2, BPV3, BPV6, BPV7, BPV8, BPV10, BPV11, BPV13, and BPV14) were detected and identified in dairy cows. These were the first reported detections of BPV13 and BPV14 in Xinjiang, Mixed infections were detected, and there were geographical differences in the distribution of the BPV genotypes. Notably, the BPV infection rate among young cattle (< 1-year-old) developed from the same supply of frozen sperm was higher than that of the other young cows naturally raised under the same environmental conditions.
Conclusions
Genotyping based on the L1 gene of BPV showed that BPVs circulating in Xinjiang China displayed substantial genetic diversity. This study provided valuable data at the molecular epidemiology level, which is conducive to developing deep insights into the genetic diversity and pathogenic characteristics of BPVs in dairy cows.

Objective To summarize the radiological features of follicular dendritic cell tumor of spleen (FDCS).Methods The clinical, radiological and pathological data of 8 patients from November 2011 to November 2017 in 5 hospitals with FDCS confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent CT examinations including plan and enhanced CT. Three patients underwent additional MRI and two patients underwent PET‐CT examinations simultaneously. The imaging features such as location, number, shape, boundary, size, internal structure, density (or signal, 18F‐fluorodeoxyglucose uptake), enhancement model and the relationship with surrounding structures were observed and compared with pathological results. Results Of the 8 patients with FDCS, 7 were located in the spleen and 1 was located in the spleen of the ectopic spleen of the pancreas. Seven patients with splenic FDCS underwent splenectomy and 1 patient with pancreatic ectopic spleen FDCS underwent resection of the pancreas. Multiple lesions were detected in 1 case, while single in the others. Tumor was round or oval. The tumors were well‐circumscribed and presented as expansive growth. On unenhanced CT, the tumors showed a slightly lower density, and hemorrhage and necrosis could be detected in 6 lesions. Calcification was seen in 1 case, significant necrosis, and cystic change was presented in the pancreatic ectopic spleen FDCS. The solid part presented isointensity or slightly hypointensity on T1WI, and hyperointensity on T2WI. Cystic necrosis areas were hypointensitive on T1WI, and hyperointensitive on T2WI. Spoke‐like areas with hypointensity on T1WI and hyperointensity on T2WI were detected in the center of the solid part with the distribution among the substantial degenerative and necrotic regions. PET‐CT showed that the 18F‐fluorodeoxyglucose was uptaked obviously. The enhancement CT showed that at the arterial phase, the tumors were markedly enhanced and continuously enhanced at portal vein phase and balance phase. Multiple liver metastases were detected in 1 case with huge FDCS. One patient was followed up for 6 years, and gastric lymphoma was detected. The others were followed up for 6 to 53 months, there remained no transfer or recurrence. Conclusions The features of FDCS of spleen mainly manifest as solid or cystic mass with clear solitary sphenoma accompanied by scarring, calcification and hemorrhage. The enhancement mode is persistent enhancement. MRI and PET‐CT help to further reflect the tumor pathological basis and biological characteristics.
