Optical coherence tomography (OCT)is thought to be the most effective tool for recognizing form of vul-nerable plaques and evaluating endothelium coverage after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)so far.OCT can be used to guide stent implantation,evaluate endothelium proliferation status in stent,explore causes for in-stent restenosis and detect stent late malapposition and in-stent thrombosis etc.

Objective To explore the value of CR in the diagnosis of breast cancer in young women.Methods The relationshipbetween X-ray features of 50 cases of breast cancer in young women and pathology were analysed retrospectively.Results Infiltratinglobular carcinoma was in 26 cases,and infiltrating ductal carcinoma was in 24 cases.Mass shadows was in 13 cases,pure calcification 7cases,structure disorder 5 cases,patches shadows 16 cases,patches shadows with calcification 4 cases and mass with calcification 5 cases.Conclusion Mammography is still the best method for breast cancer in young women.

Objective To report the safety and efficacy of partial nephrectomy (PN) in 56 patients with renal tumors. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed for 56 patients who were treated with PN.Patients were divided into two groups according to the occlusion time.The occlusion time for Group 1 was≤30 min in 28 cases,and Group 2＞30 min in 28 cases.All patients underwent pre-and post-operation 99Tcm-diethylenetriamine pentoacetic acid renal scintigraphy, to determine the renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR).The GFR values, amount of blood loss during operation,operative time,postoperative hospital stay and the complications rate were compared between the two groups prior to surgery and one week and six months post-surgery.All patients were followed-up.Results The average follow-up time was 36 (30-48) months.The overall survival rate and tumor recurrence-free survival rate were 100% and 98%.There was no significant difference between vessel clamp time≤30 min and＞30 min in the amount of intraoperative blood loss,operative time,postoperative hospital stay and complications rate,P values were 0.266,0.487,0.879 and 1.000.The preoperative and 1 week postoperative GFR values of the two groups were (42.9±4.9) and (34.2±4.9),(42.8±5.6) and (30.4±5.2) ml/min.The difference was significant(P=0.007).The GFR values were (41.2±4.3)ml/min at 6 months after surgery for Group 1,compared with that before surgery,but the difference was not significant (P＞0.05).While the GFR values were (38.1±5.0) ml/min for Group 2,and the GFR for Group 2 did not recover to the preoperative level (P=0.001). Conelusions PN for renal tumors could be a safe and effective treatment option.The damage on renal function could be minimal when the renal artery clamping time is controlled to within 30 min.

Laboratory animal welfare is an important guarantee for the accuracy and reliability of experimental results, so it has been paid attention in scientific research .But the situation is not optimistic in the teaching practice .This paper has specially analyzed laboratory animal welfare and ethics in experiment teaching and provided specific measures involved in legislation , spread of animal welfare and implementation of 3R principle to ensure animal welfare .

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of optical coherence tomography (OCT) in interventional diagnosis and treatment of borderline coronary artery disease. Methods Sixteen 40%-70% angiographically stenotic lesions from 15 patients were enrolled in the current study. Intravascular OCT was applied to each lesion after informed consent was obtained to evaluate stenosis percentage, size of lipid core, thickness of fibrous cap, existence of plaque rupture, and presence of thrombosis or calcification. Therapeutic strategies were made according to OCT outcomes as well as clinical symptoms and electrocardiographic changes. Stent coverage, apposition, and tissue prolapse between stent struts were determined in the patients undertaken percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Results Qualitative OCT images were obtained in 14 lesions. Ten lesions were greater than 50% stenosis, with large lipid core and fibrous cap thinner than 65 ?m, and plaque ruptures were noted in 2 of the lesions. PCI were performed in these 10 lesions. Two lesions underwent predilatation and significant intima tearings and dissections were detected with OCT. Repeated OCT after stent implantation showed complete coverage in all 10 lesions. Focal incomplete apposition were noted in 2 lesions. Significant tissue prolapse occurred in 3 lesions and segmental incomplete deployment of stent in 2 lesions. The remaining 4 lesions had small lipid cores, thick fibrous caps but with no plaque ruptures, thus PCI was not performed. Conclusion Intracoronary OCT is an effective tool to determine features of coronary lesions. It plays an important role in diagnosis of vulnerable lesions, strategy-making in treating borderline coronary artery disease and evaluation of immediate result of PCI.

Assessment of left ventricular function is an important part of the function of whole cardiac.Two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging technology can track single pixel and get its trajectory,thus we can fully knowledge the function of left ventricular.At present,a large number of clinical studies have confirmed the significance of two-speckle tracking imaging in the evaluation of left ventricular function,and the details were reviewed in this article.

BACKGROUND:The relationship between placing time after stem cel preparation and cel survival is the basis of safety and effectiveness for the clinical application. OBJECTIVE: To observe effects of different preservation solutions and different storage time on survival rate of umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cels, and to provide important evidence for identifying effectiveness of stem cels. METHODS:Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cels were selected to prepare stem cel preparation, which was preserved in physiological saline, medium, medium+physiological saline, physiological saline containing epidermal growth factor, and medium containing low molecular heparin calcium suspension. Cold closet was selected for imitating celular transport conditions. Samples were obtained at 0, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 and 48 hours. Total cel number and cel survival rate were detected. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The difference in cel number and survival rate was not great within 24 hours in each group. Twenty-four hours later, total cel number and survival rate were better in the medium and medium containing low molecular heparin calcium groups than in the physiological saline containing epidermal growth factor, physiological saline, and medium+physiological saline groups. These findings suggest that after stem cel preparation, the cel survival rate can reach more than 90% within 24 hours under refrigerated transport conditions. Nutritional ingredients and proper pH value of preservation solution can make the cel survival rate increased greatly.

Objective To investigate the effects of Liuwei Hezhong Powder on gastrointestinal motility and hormones,and to explore its possible mechanism.Methods The small intestinal propulsion ratio,endogastric residual rate and total gastrointestinal propulsion time in mice were observed after intragastric administration of Liuwei Hezhong Powder .Radioimmunoassay was applied to detect the changes of gastrin,motilin and vasoactive intestinal polypeptide in spleen asthenia rats.Results Compared with the blank control group,Liuwei Hezhong Powder can significantly improve the small intestinal propulsion,reduce endogastric residue and shorten total gastrointestinal propulsion time(P 0.05),but the high dosage group of Liuwei Hezhong Powder were especially remarkable(P
