1.Problems and Solving Strategies of Current Ethical Reviews from the Perspective of Informed Consent in Human Trials
Chinese Medical Ethics 2017;30(3):331-335
Human trials are necessary to medical development, but the experiments need to be reviewed under the condition of informed consent. The current ethical review of informed consent in China exist some limits. For example, the corresponding normative legal status is low,the tracing review of informed consent becomes a mere formality, and the ethical review mechanism is not perfect, and so on.We should strengthen the examination of the ethical examination of human trials, increase the tracking and examination of informed consent of human trials, and improve the supporting mechanism of ethical review, and thus to safeguard the life and health rights and interests and personality dignity.
2.Life quality improvement of spastic hemiplegia of stroke treated with fire-needle: a randomized controlled trial.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(11):1105-1109
OBJECTIVETo observe the life quality improvement of spastic hemiplegia of stroke treated with fire-needle.
METHODSSixty patients were randomly divided into a fire-needle group and a rehabilitation group, 30 cases in each one. In the two groups, the conventional treatment of neurology and rehabilitation strengthening limbs function were applied. In the fire-needle group, fire-needle was used at Jianyu (LI 15), Binao (LI 14), Quchi (LI 11), Yanglingquan (GB 34), Xuehai (SP 10) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6), etc. , once two days and continuously for 30 days (15 times). In the rehabilitation group, conventional rehabilitation exercises were given five times a week for 4 weeks (20 times). Before treatment, at the end of treating program and one month later after treatment, spasticity of upper and lower limbs was assessed by Ashworth scale and clinic spasticity index (CSI); limbs function was evaluated by Fugl-Meyer (FM) scale; life quality was estimated by patient-reported outcome (PRO). Clinical effects were compared between the two groups.
RESULTS(1) At the end of treating and one month later after treatment, the Ashworth scales were better than those before treatment in the two groups (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), and the scales of the fire-needle group were superior to those at the same time of the rehabilitation group (both P < 0.05). (2) At the end of treating and one month later after treatment, the CSIs were better than those be fore treatment in the fire-needle group (both P < 0.01), but not changed apparently in the rehabilitation group (both P > 0.05). And the indices of the fire-needle group were superior to those at the same time of the rehabilitation group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). (3) The FM scales of upper and lower limbs at the end of treating and one month later after treatment were better than those before treatment in the two groups (all P 0.01), except the lower limbs at the end of treating in the rehabilitation group (P > 0.05). The FM scales of the fire-needle group were superior to those at the same time of the rehabilitation group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). (4) At the end of treating and one month later after treatment, the PRO scales were better than those before treatment in the two groups (all P < 0.01), and the scales of the fire-needle group were superior to those at the same time of the rehabilitation group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONFire-needle can effectively relieve spastic hemiplegia of stroke, and improve limbs motor function and life quality. It is better than rehabilitation.

4.Clinical effect of different doses of atorvastatin on elderly acute coronary syndrome
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2012;(12):1048-1050
Objective To observe the effect of different doses of atorvastatin in treating elderly acute coronary syndrome. Methods Totally 78 cases with acute coronary syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:low-dose atorvastatin group and high dose atorvastatin group,39 cases for each. The triacylglycerol (TG),total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein-cholestrol (LDL-C)and high-density lipoprotein-cholestrol (HDL-C) were compared between before and after the treatment. The adverse drug reactions were observed. Results Before treatment, the levels of TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were not statistic significant between the two groups. After treatment of 1 month,3 months,6 months and 12 months,TC and LDL-C of the two groups were decreased than those before treatment, and TC and LDL-C of high-dose atorvastatin group were lower than those of low-dose atorvastatin group, but HDL-C level was not changed compared with before treatment. After treatment of 3 months,6 months and 12 months,TG levels of the two groups were decreased than those before treatment, and TG of high-dose atorvastatin group were reduced than those of low-dose atorvastatin group. The incidence rate of cardiovascular events of high-dose atorvastatin group was significantly lower than those of low-dose atorvastatin group. There was no difference in the incidence rate of adverse drug reactions between the two groups. Conclusions I(s worthy to apply high-dose atorvastatin in clinical treatment for acute coronary syndrome because of its ability to decrease the levels of TG,TC,LDL C,HDL-C and cardiovascular events.
5.Relationship between 24-hour blood pressure rhythm and carotid scleratheroma in elderly patients with hypertension
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(20):3097-3099
Objeetive To investigate the relationship between 24-hour blood pressure rhythm and carotid scleratheroma in elderly patients with hypertension. Methods 193 elderly patients with hypertension were enrolled in the study and divided into study group (91 cases with carotid atherosclerosis) and control group (102 cases). All the patients were given 24h blood pressure rhythm examination. The characteristics of 24hour blood pressure rhythm was compared between the two groups. Results The 24h average systolic blood pressure(24h-SBP),24h average diastolic blood pressure (24h-DBP),24h average pulse pressure (24h-MBP) between the study group and the control group had no significant differences(P > 0.05).The daytime average systolic blood pressure(d-SBP),diurnal mean diastolic blood pressure (d-DBP),diurnal average pulse pressure (d-MBP),nocturnal mean systolic blood pressure (n-SBP),nocturnal mean diastolic blood pressure(n-DBP),nocturnal mean pulse pressure(n-MBP) of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group (t =16.92,24.68,6.16,12.87,11.59,6.35,all P <0.05).In study group,d-SBP,d-DBP,d-MBP were higher than n-SBP,n-DBP,n-MBP,the differences were statistically significant(F =73.61,P < 0.01).The circadian blood pressure variability of the study group was more than 10%,the 24h ambulatory blood pressure curve graph of the study group was non-dipper curve. The circadian blood pressure variability of the control group was less than 5%,the 24h ambulatory blood pressure curve was dipper type curve. Conclusion The MBPS is strongly associated with carotid scleratheroma, and clinical treatment and study could derive from ABPM data analysis.
