Objective To assess the effect of polygonum peffoliatum L on the expression of Hypoxia inducible factor-1 (HIF-1α) and vascular endothelia growth factor (VEGF) in hepatic fibrosis rats induced by Dimethylnitrosamine (DMN) . Methods Seventy-two SD rats were randomly divided into six groups, after the model of HF rat induced by DMN and intervened by different concentrations of Polygonum perfoliatum L. Conventional flaking of liver and HE were used to observed histopathological change. Immunohistochemstry was used to detect HIF-1αand VEGF in hepatic tissues of hepatic fibrosis rats. Results The expression of HIF-1α and VEGF in hepatic fibrosis rats of the high dose of Polygonum perfoliatum L from (-) to (3 +) were one , nine, one, zero and one, eight, two, zero, respectively. The expression of HIF-1α and VEGF in hepatic fibrosis rats of the middle dose of Polygonum perfoliatum L from (-) to (3 +)were one , seven, two, zero and one, six, three, zero, respectively. Compared with the model group, the high and middle dose of Polygonum perfoliatum L can reduce the expression of HIF-1 oand VEGF in hepatic fibrosis rats (P < 0. 01). Conclusions Polygonum peffoliatum L has a good curative effect of anti hepatic fibrosis. Its therapeutic mechanism mainly maybe due to adjust the metabolism of extracellular matrix by decreasing HIF-1 αand VEGF expression.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the risk factors of adverse reaction of cefazolin drugs by Logistic model. METHODS:Re-lated information was collected from the information system of our hospital, and SPSS 19.0 software was conducted for statistical analysis. RESULTS:Totally 855 patients were enrolled,30 of which had adverse reactions(3.51%). According to the results of Logistic analysis, intravenous administration with the concentration of ≥20 mg/ml (OR=7.857,95% CI:1.566-39.431,P=0.003) was the risk factor of adverse reaction of cefazolin drugs when single dose was above 2 g (OR=13.75,95% CI:2.423-78.028,P<0.001)at 0:00-8:00(OR=2.340,95% CI:1.043-5.253,P=0.034). CONCLUSIONS:Adverse reaction of ce-fazolin drugs might be dose-related type. The drug adverse reaction predictive thresholds are single dose above >1.75 g with ad-ministration time of 0:00-9:05 and concentration of above 7 mg/ml. According to the predictive thresholds, the risk of patients with adverse reaction can be predicted to promote safe and effective use of cefazolin.

Objective To recognize CT signs of parapharyngeal space (PPS) changing in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) further. Methods 30 patients with proven NPC by biopsy were performed CT and MR scanning before radiotherapy. Results According to CT findings, four types of PPS display in 30 cases were found, each of which was observed and compared with MR findings and were as follows: (1)PPS ,which had no changing on CT, showed fat-filled triangular space continuously on MRI. (2) PPS, which became narrow and linear hypodense on CT,showed that fat intensity was pressed, but continuously on MRI; (3) PPS, which became narrow and linear hyperdense on CT,showed fat intensity, was pressed exceedingly but continuously either on MRI. (4)PPS,which was diminished on CT, showed the mass occupied PPS and lateral pterygoid muscles was pushed, medial fatty space of which was diminished, but intensity of medial or lateral pterygoid muscles was normal or abnormal on MRI. Conclusion (1)When PPS becomes narrow on CT,whether PPS shows hyperdense or hypodense, the mass makes a breakthrough PPS. (2) When PPS is diminished completely on CT,the mass steps PPS to the infratemporal fossa.
