OBJECTIVE: To probe into the overall situation about the study on compatible stability of drugs. METHODS: The compatible stability of drugs reported in a total of 113 articles in 2005 in 52 kinds of periodicals were retrieved from CHKD and summarized analytically. RESULTS: The drug categories involved were chiefly antibiotics (59%), Chinese traditional medicines or Chinese drug components (20%) and other drugs (21%). Quantitative analyses in 91 articles were chiefly conducted by ultraviolet spectrophotometry (79%) or HPLC (20%). CONCLUSION: Because the ultraviolet spectrophotometry was greatly used and some experimental designs were not well-knit enough, the reliability of experimental results of compatible stability of drugs might be seriously affected, which poses a great danger to the clinical compatible use of drugs.

OBJECTIVE:To promote rational combined use of Chinese Chinese materia medica with western medicines.METHODS:The mechanisms for Chinese materia medica and its chemical compositions to change the bioavailability of orally taken substrates by its inhibiting or inducing intestinal CYP3A4 and P-gp were summarized,and which were analyzed by combining the literature.RESULTS:Fructus Schisandrae,Radix Angelicae Dahuricae,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Rutaecarpine,Ginkgolide A etc could inhibit or induce the CYP3A4 enzyme;Radix Scutellariae,common St.Johnwort herb with root,Naringenin,Hypericin etc could inhibit or induce P-gp.The change of the parameters of the bioavailability of substrate drugs caused by Chinese materia medica and its chemical compositions through acting on intestinal CYP3A4 and P-gp could influence the drug safety and efficacy.CONCLUSION:Clinicians and pharmacists should attach importance to the drug interactions in the concomitant use of Chinese traditional medicines and western drugs so as to promote rational drug use.

OBJECTIVE: To strengthen the monitoring on narcotics and the first class psychotropic substances and to enhance the monitoring efficiency. METHODS: The computer network management of the narcotics and the first class psychotropic substances was achieved by using the special drug monitoring system. RESULTS: A real-time dynamic monitoring on the purchasing, marketing, inventory and distribution of narcotics and the first class psychotropic substances was realized, and the legal, safe and rational use of the above-mentioned drugs was guaranteed. CONCLUSIONS: The special drug monitoring system improved the standard computer network management of narcotic and the first class psychotropic substances, meeting the requirements of both our hospital and the related administration institutions to conduct real-time and dynamic monitoring for narcotic and the first class psychotropic substances

To explore some variation about normal electrocardiograph (ECG). Methods 6800 people aged 17～40 who hadhealth physical examination in our hospital from 1993～2011 were reviewed. Results The ECG of 4640 (68.24%) people are normal, 136(2%) were abnormal. The rest 2024 (29.76%) people probably had some ECG variation as follows: shorter PR interval (PR<0.12 s); PⅡ upsidedown; heart rate (HR): 40～60 beats/min, HR: 100～110 beats/min; incomplete right bundle branch block (ICRBBB); left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH); abnormal Q; RV1～RV5 amplitude were not increasing; SⅠSⅡSⅢ; STV3～V6 elevation>0.3～0.5 mV; Heart electrical axis is somewhatdeviation and heart position is somewhat shift; occasional superventricular premature beats or ventricular premature beats, etc. Theywere finally diagnosed as normal healthy people after 3～6 months follow-up with ultrasonic cardiogram (UCG), Holter and chest X rays,etc. Conclusion These abnormal ECG beyond normal ECG diagnosis standards are variation of normal ECG in health people.

OBJECTIVE:To promote rational drug use and improve medical quality.METHODS:A comprehensive analysis was performed on the contents of drug counseling problems presented by 483 patients and medical staff.RESULTS:The use of cardio-cerebral-vascular drugs,anti-bacterial drugs and digestive system drugs were the most common drugs inquired by patients,and their questions focused on the action and clinical use,adverse reactions,administration and dosage etc of drugs.However,anti-bacterial drugs were the leading drugs inquired by medical staff,and their questions focused on drugs available for choice and combined use of drugs etc.CONCLUSIONS:Drug counseling can help promote rational drug use,improve medical quality and patients' awareness toward medical care,besides,it is conducive to the publicity for hospital pharmacists.

OBJECTIVE: To study the status quo and future trend of digestive system drugs used in our hospital. METHO-DS: The digestive system drugs used in our hospital between 2001 and 2005 were analyzed retrospectively in respect to drug kinds, consumption sum, DDDs, daily costs etc. RESULTS: Drugs for peptic ulcer and hepatobiliary diseases took a big proportion and experienced a year- on- year increase. No significant change was noted for the top 10 drugs on the lists of DDDs and consumption sum before and after the medical insurance reform, but their order changed a little. The DDDs of most of the cheap and effective drugs increased after the medical insurance reform. CONCLUSION: The consumption of antiulcer drugs and drugs for hepatobiliary diseases in our hospital assume an increasing tendency.

OBJECTIVE:To establish an HPLC-CSP (chiral stationary phase) for the determination of plasma levels of enantiomers of fluoxetine. METHODS: Enantiomers of fluoxetine were separated on a Chirobiotic V column. The mobile phase consisted of methanol-acetic acid-triethylamine (100∶0.04∶0.04) with a flow rate of 1 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 226 nm.Clozapine was used as the internal standard. RESULTS: Under this chromatographic condition, both R-norfluoxetine and S-norfluoxetine had no interference on the enantiomers of fluoxetine and the internal standard. The calibration curve was linear in the range of 8.1～432 ng?mL-1(r=0.999 8) for R-enantiomer and in the range of 10.8～432 ng?mL-1 (r=0.999 2) for S-enantiomer. The relative recovery of R-fluoxetine and S-fluoxetine in plasma were 97.2%～101.9% and 98.7%～102.2%, respectively. RSD of intraday and interday ranged from 2.6% to 5.3% and from 7.7% to 8.9% for R-fluoxetine, and from 2.1% to 6.7% and from 8.0% to 10.6% for S-fuoxetine, respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is simple, reliable and sensitive, and applicable for the determination and pharmacokinetic study of the enantiomers of fluoxetine in plasma.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the stability of tinidazole and cefotaxime sodium mixed in infusion fluid at 4℃,25℃ and 37℃ for 24 hours.METHODS:Tinidazole and cefotaxime sodium were determined by RP-HPLC method and the pH of solution was determined with a pH meter.RESULTS:There were no significant changes in pH of the solution at 4℃,25℃ and 37℃ for 24 hours; Along with the duration, there were significant changes in the appearance of solution and the concentrations of tinidazole and cefotaxime sodium.UV absorption curve of tinidazole and cefotaxime mixed solution revealed small changes at 4℃ for 6 hours, 25℃ for 2 hours and 37℃ for 1 hour, showing a new peak.CONCLUSION: Tinidazole and cefotaxime sodium mixed in infusion fluid were stable at 4℃ for 6 hours,25℃ for 2 hours and 37℃ for 1 hour.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of neural protection of mouse nerve growth factor combined with sub-hypothermia in the treatment of patients with severe traumatic brain injury. Methods 90 cases of severe traumatic brain injury were randomly divided into study group and control group with 45 cases of each group, the control group were given routine treatment; the study group were given on the basis of routine treatment of mouse nerve growth factor combined with sub-hypothermia treatment, with 2 weeks treatment, the clinical indicators and corresponding nerve injury, inflammation, oxidative stress indexes, clinical effect and complications were compared after 2 weeks treatment. Results Compared with before treatment or control group, scores of Glasgow coma scale (GCS) and Glasgow outcome scale (GOS) and montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA) in study group after the treatment increased, National Institute of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) score decreased(P<0.05), neuronspecific enolase (NSE), myelin basic protein (MBP) and S100 beta levels decreased(P<0.05), the serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-10 levels decreased (P<0.05), the malondialdehyde (MDA) decreased, the glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and oxidation resistance (AOA) levels increased (P<0.05). The control group efficiency was 73.33%, the study group efficiency was 91.11%, there was significant difference (P<0.05). All patients were followed up, no case off, there was no significant difference in adverse drug reaction rate between two groups. Conclusion Mouse nerve growth factor and sub-hypothermia has the significant neural protection for patients with severe traumatic brain injury, and its mechanism may be related to reduce nerve injury indicators and improve inflammatory factor and oxidative stress response.

Objective To investigate the risk factors,clinical and coronary angiographic characteristics in women less than 50 years with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods One hundred and twenty-six women less than 50 years were divided into CHD group and non-CHD group according to the result of coronary angiography(CAG).Risk factors,clinical and coronary angiographic characteristics were investigated retrospectively.Results In 6395 cases who were given CAG in the corresponding time period,126(1197%)women were less than 50 years,and 44 cases were confirmed as having CHD by CAG[CHD group,mean age(46.8±3.6)years)].Meanwhile 82 cases were in non-CHD group[mean age(45.4±4.3)years)].The incidence rate of hypertension[77.3%(34/44)vs 26.8%(22/82)],diabetes mellitus[34.1%(15/44)vs 4.9%(4/82)],hyperlipidemia[43.2%(19/44)vs 7.3%(6/82)],family history of CHD[43.2%(19/44)vs 7.3%(6/82)],and risk factors of family history of CHD[52.3%(23/44)vs 12.2%(10/82)]had significant difference between CHD group and non-CHD group(P<0.01).88.6%(39/44)CHD palients were acute coronary syndrome,50.0%(20/44)lesion was one-vessel lesion.Left anterior descending coronary was involved most easily.The degree of calcification was lighter.The type.of lesion was mostly localized and segmented.Conclusions Hypertension,hypedipidemia,diabetes mellitus,family history of CHD,and risk factors of family history of CHD are the major risk faetom in women less than 50 years with CHD. The possibility of CHD is higher when having classical angina and multiple risk faetom.
