[Objective]To develop a mini-pressure-sensor(MPS)for measurement of plantar pressure(PP)and to evaluate its clinical application.[Method]The MPS was installed in the shoes, and computer was used to accumulate and analyze the change of PP in whole walking stage.Pathologic changes of PP in clinical patients were also analyzed by MPS.[Result]In normal walking, the PP of forefoot was 49% of body weight(BW)and of midfoot and heel was totally 51% of BW,but at pathologic state, the equilibrium of walking was dynamically disrapted inducing a pathologic changes of foot bearing.[Conclusion]Self-developed MPS for measuring PP is help for dynamic analysis of normal PP and is valuable to recognize the pathologic distribution of PP in pathological state and to provide a guide for treatment.

Aim To observe the effect of Sinomenine on the activation of NF-?B and the degradation of its inhibitor I-?B in peritoneal macrophages of BALB/c mice in vitro and provide experimental evidence for further evaluation of the antiinflammatory and antirheumatic effects of Sinomenine. Methods Effect of Sinomenine on the activation of NF-?B p65 in the cells was investigated by using fluorescence-labelling and laser confocal scanning microscopy; Effect of Sinomenine on the degradation of I?B-? was investigated by Western blot. Results SIN (0.25,1.25 mmol?L -1) attenuated the activation of NF-?B p65 in peritoneal macrophages of BALB/c mice induced by LPS in vitro. SIN(0.25,1.25 mmol?L -1) inhibited the degradation of I-?B-? in peritoneal macrophages of BALB/c mice induced by LPS in vitro. Conclusion SIN can partially inhibit the activation of NF-?B p65 and the degradation of I?B-? in peritoneal macrophages of BALB/c mice induced by LPS in vitro.

Objective To evaluate the value of 2D ultrasound and elastic strain ratio (SR) in diagnosis of thyroid nodule by fine needle aspiration (FNA).Methods 196 thyroid nodules were analyzed retrospectively with 2D ultrasound, elastography and FNA results, pathology results as the golden standard.A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to identify the best cut-off point of SR.The Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the variables effectiveness on age, nodule echo, calcification and SR.Tried to discuss how to use SR before or after US-FNA in diagnosis of thyroid nodule. Results The SR of the malignant nodules group was significantly different from the benign nodules group, and the best cut-off point was 0.5 with sensitivity 91.7%,specificity 90.2 % and accuracy 90.8 %.The Logistic analysis results were SR,age, echo, calcification according to the odds ratio.SR can screened nodules without puncture necessary before FNA,and increase the FNA sensitivity, specificity and accuracy after FNA.Conclusions SR has good application value in diagnosis thyroid malignant tumor.SR can reduce unnecessary FNA and make a supplementary diagnosis of FNA.

Objective To evaluate the value of elastic strain ratio (SR) in ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration (US-FNA) of thyroid nodule. Methods A total of 222 thyroid nodules from 216 patients were reviewed and analyzed by Logistic regression of clinical data,2D ultrasound, and SR.The odds ratios of variables in the equation were compared to assess various variables, especially of SR in the diagnosis. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the SR method,US-FNA method, and combined method were calculated. Results Three statistically significant features finally entered the Logistic regression model, followed by SR,echo, and age according to the odds ratio. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the SR method,US-FNA method and combined method were 85.4%,82.1%,83.3% ; 91.5%,82.1%,85.6% ; 97.6%,94.3%,95.5% respectively. Conclusions SR<0.5 is the most important risk factor in differential diagnosis of thyroid malignant nodules from benign nodules.SR raises the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of US-FNA method and plays an important role in diagnosing thyroid nodules via US-FNA.

This study was aimed to analyze four diagnostic methods of AIDS patients with HAART complicated with anemia and hyperlipidemia. Characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and common pathogenesis were discussed in this article. This study was supported by Key Project of the National Eleventh-Five Year Research Program of China. This study was conducted through the retrospective analysis. This analysis was made on the four diagnostic methods of AIDS patients with HAART treatment. The results showed that the most frequent symptoms of AIDS patients with anemia or hyperlipidemia are fatigue, facial abnormalities, taste abnormalities, forgetfulness, backache, weakness of back, loss of appetite, insomnia. And the frequent tongue and pulse are white tough coating, pale tongue and fine pulse. The most frequent symptoms of the anemia group are facial abnormalities, backache, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath, pale complexion, abnormal state of mind, abnormal sweating, tinnitus, cold hands and feet, spontaneous sweating, white tongue coating, tooth-printed tongue, thin tongue coating and weak pulse (P < 0.05). The most frequent symptom of hyperlipidemia are lassitude, weakness, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, moisture tongue, thick and greasy tongue coating, slippery pulse. It was concluded that syndromes of AIDS patients on ARV complicated with anemia and hyperlipidemia are mainly deficient pattern, which affects the spleen, heart, liver and kidney. The most frequent syndrome type with anemia patients is blood deficiency, which is followed by spleen-kidney deficiency syndrome, liver-kidney deficiency syndrome. The most frequent syndrome type with hyperlipidemia patients is spleen qi deficiency and kidney essence deficiency, which are closely related to the spleen and kidney.

In educating postgraduate students in aerospace medicine in our country, there are some deficiencies such as the course content lacking forward looking and systematicness, and students' mastery of technology or skills lacking professional characteristics, innovation and divergent thinking. Based on the original foundations, the School of Aerospace Medicine, Fourth Military Medical University, has been con-structing and improving the course system by modifying the course contents, reforming the practical teach-ings, expanding the academic communications, and managing the processes. Finally, they have achieved certain results.

Objective To build a three-dimension finite-element model of patella and to make a preliminary mechanics analysis on the model. Methods According to the model-building principle of Ansys software which started from point to line to area to volume,a three-dimension finite-element patella model was reconstructed on the basis of the images of spiral CT.Then, loading on the model patella were simulated and the stress magnitude and distribution on the patella were analyzed. Results Finite element analysis of the patella showed that stress concentration zone located in the middle and lower patella, indicating that fracturepredilectionsitesinthelower patellar.TheVon misesstresson thetensionsidewas significantly greater than that on pressure side. Conclusion The established finite element model of the patella can reflect the real geometry of patella treated in clinics.
