1.Subacute thyroiditis as seen initially in ENT department--a report of 30 cases.
Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2002;22(1):82-3
To assess the pharyngeal presentations and the diagnostic value of thyroid SPECT and thyroid fine needle aspiratory biopsy (FNAB) in subacute thyroiditis (SAT) as seen initially in ENT department, 30 patients, during the course of SAT, were examined for pharyngeal symptoms and tested for serum T3, T4 level. The thyroid SPECT imaging or thyroid FNAB were performed. Our results showed that, of the 30 patients, 21 had sore throat of various degrees, and 9 had abnormal sensation of throat. Six were diagnosed as having SAT by only SPECT, in the remaining 24, the final diagnoses was established by SPECT combined with FNAB. Two of them were finally diagnosed as having SAT by trial treatment with oral prednisone. It is concluded that sore throat and abnormal sensation of pharynx are the important presentations of SAT, and thyroid SPECT imaging and thyroid FNAB are valuable in diagnosing SAT.

2.A comparative study on the close reduction of arytenoid dislocation under indirect and direct laryngoscope.
Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2002;22(4):375-7
To assess the curative effects of different reduction techniques on the dislocation of cricoarytenoid joint caused by intubation, indirect laryngoscope (IL) and direct laryngoscope (DL) were utilized for the closed reduction of the displaced arytenoid under local anesthesia. 23 patients who underwent the reduction for dislocated arytenoid under IL or DL from January 1991 to June 2001 were reviewed. The data were collected on the duration of the laryngeal injury, times of receiving reduction, side-effects after the treatment and the period for voice to return to normal. The relationship between the duration of the laryngeal lesion and the period of the voice rehabilitation was examined. 13 patients received the reduction under IL and 10 patients under DL. Except the times of the reduction, which showed significant difference, no differences were found between IL group and DL group in the course and the period of voice rehabilitation, as well as sore throat after the manipulation. The patients' voice recovery was positively related to their course of disease in both IL and DL group. It is concluded that the recovery of normal voice is obviously affected by the duration of arytenoid dislocation. The reduction under IL is as effective as under DL in the treatment of arytenoid dislocation. Reduction by DL is better suit the patients with long time course of disease.

3.Effect of dexamethasone on posttonsillectomy pain
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2009;(20):936-938
Objective:To assess the effect of a course of intravenous dexamethasone on pain after tonsillectomy.Method:Sixty patients who underwent tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. Postoperatively, 30 patients in experimental group received anti-inflammatory drug and dexamethasone for 4 days, and the other 30 patients in control group received anti-inflammatory drug and placebo. Degree of postoperative pain was measured with visual analogue scale in the patients more than 12 year old and with Wong-Baker faces pain scale in the patients less than or equal to 12 year old. The measurement was made twice daily for 5 days.Result:During the postoperative period, the scale value was decreasing every day in the all patients. But the value in experimental group was less than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Dexamethasone given in this regime reduces postoperative pain and odynophagia after tonsillectomy.
4.The pharmacological study of Ganoderma spores and their active components
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2003;0(05):-
Recently, the pharmacological study of Ganoderma spores and active components has be-come a focus of attention in the world. The present reviewis based on the auctorial research on Ganoder-maspores. It involves pharmacological effects of Ganodermaspores and its active components, includingimmunomodulating effect, antitumor activity and its mechanismin vivoandin vitro, liver-protectiveeffect, gastric ulcer preventing effect, serum glucose and blood fat depressing effects, anti-hypoxia andscavenging free redical, etc. The possible problems and their solutions in this research area are also dis-cussed.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
Kidney damage caused by inappropriate use of some chinese herb drugs are quite common in our country. This review give a brief introduction of those reports concened, which include the most frequently used herb drugs of Aristolochia and their main components, the pharmacokinetic of Aristolochic acid, the different clinical manifestation of chinese herb nephropathy and the possible mechanism of the nephrotoxicity of Aristolochic acid.

Objective To investigate the correlation between infertility and TORCH infections ,analyse the possible influence factors .Methods TORCH infections of 2343 cases of pregnant women and 1356 cases of infertility women were detected by chemi‐luminescence method ,the positive rates of TORCH‐IgM ,IgG were compared .Results RV ,HSV infections of infertility women were higher ,mainly in 30 -34 years group .TORCH infections of infertility women among seasons were of significant difference (P<0 .05) .TORCH infections of infertility women have correlations with schooling levels ,source of family ,and history of expo‐sure to animals (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The less education ,rural aera ,and history of exposure to animals were high risk factors of TORCH infections ,so screening for TORCH infections of infertility women is very necessary .

Chinese Journal of Immunology 2016;32(7):962-964,969
Objective:To explore if there was a correlation between TNFAIP8 and gastric tumor drug resistance. Methods:We collected 47 cases of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and detected the expression of TNFAIP8 in their tissues before and after surgery by im-munohistochemistry. Compared the expression of TNFAIP8 between SGC7901 cell and its cisplatin resistance cell SGC7901-DDP by Western blot, and then we used siRNA technology to decreased its expression, continued to test the susceptibility to cisplatin through MTT. Results:The expression of TNFAIP8 between pre-neoadjuvant and after-neoadjuvant had no difference, but the expression of chemotherapy effectiveness was lower than chemotherapy invalidness(P<0. 05);the expression of SGC7901-DDP cell was also higher than SGC7901 cell; the expression of TNFAIP8 decreased apparently through plasmid transfection of SGC7901-DDP cell, MTT test showed the fewer expression of TNFAIP8 could increase the susceptibility to cisplatin(P<0. 05). Conclusion: TNFAIP8 was involved in chemotherapy resistance of gastric carcinoma.

Chinese Journal of Vaccines and Immunization 2008;0(04):-
Objective To analyze the positive rate of HBsAg in different population at different periods after widely using Hepatitis B Vaccine and provide strategy for Hepatitis B Control. Methods Using ELISA method to detect the HBsAg carrier in polulation under 18 years old in local area. Results After six year investigating, the HBsAg carrier rate in tested population decreased. For 0-4,4-8,8-12,12-15,15-18 age group, the carrier rate were 3.76% vs 0.30%,4.74% vs 1.39%,5.59% vs 2.52%,8.51% vs 3.03%,and 12.58% vs 2.98% in 2000 and 2006.Conclusion The reduction in carrier rate had a direct relationship with Hepatitis B Vaccine inoculation.Hepatitis B Vaccine had important effect to Hepatitis B control. We should gradually intensify Hepatitis B Vaccine inoculation. It is not only for newborn but also for adult.

A case of ear mold impression middle ear foreign body was reported. In the exploratory operation we found the ear mold impression surrounded the ossicular chains. During the process of removal the middle ear foreign body, the incudostapedial joint was protected from obvious external force and ossicular chains were kept integrity. Tympanoplasty was completed after management of foreign body. The patient recovered well postoperatively and was discharged as scheduled.
