Objective: To investigate the role of protein Hsc73 (heat shock cognate protein 73 000) in renal cell cancer metastasis promoted by SDF-1/CXCR4 axis, so as to determine whether Hsc73 participates in CXCR4 nuclear localization. Methods: Western blotting analysis was used to observe the expression of Hsc73 in A498 cells over-expressing CXCR4. The location of Hsc73 and the interaction of CXCR4 with Hsc73 were investigated in SDF-1-stimulated A498 cells by immunohistochemical staining, Co-IP (Co-Immunoprecipitation) experiment, etc. Results: Hsc73 was up-regulated in A498 cells over-expressing CXCR4. Hsc73 was mainly found in the cytoplasm of A498 cells; after stimulation with SDF-1, some Hsc73 appeared in the nuclei. Hsc73 protein was found in the nuclei of A498 cells after Co-IP with anti-CXCR4 antibody. Conclusion: Hsc73 as a common molecular chaperone participates in the intra-cellular translocation of CXCR4; Hsc73 also plays a key role in the activation of SDF-1/CXCR4 signal pathway and may be involved in the nuclear translocalization of CXCR4.

Batch fermentation of lycopene by recombinant E. c ol i ZYL-2 at various temperatures ranging between 23℃～37℃ were studied in 7L fermentor. At 33℃, cell specific growth rate in earlier stage of culture was higher, and the time obtained maximum cell dry weight was shorter at other tempe rature. while after 9 h, lycopene specific production rate was higher at 28℃. Based on these results, a two-stage temperature control strategy was developed in which 33℃ was used for fermentation for the first 9 h and the temperaturew as switched to 28℃ after 9h. Using this temperature-shift strategy, the maxim al lycopene content and productivity reached 605.25?g L-1 and 28.82?g L-1h-1. The lycopene fermentation level obtained by the strategy was higher than those in single temperature-control experiments.

Objective To explore the variance of helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection rate in children with recurrent abdominal pain(RAP).Methods By using the()~(13)C-urea breath test(~(13)C-UBT) to detect the status of Hp infection in 1676 children with RAP from 1998 to 2004.Results 1.Total 1676 cases of children with RAP were detected.There were 438 cases showed Hp positive,the positive rate was 26.13%.The infection rates in patients from 2-5,5-10,and 10-14 years of age were 23.66%(84/355),(26.31%)(286/1087),29.06%(68/234),respectively.2.Hp infection rates in children with RAP from 1998 to 2004 were 29.33%(83/283),(28.90%)(76/263),25.76%(51/198),26.01%(56/215),25.81%(48/186),24.45%(67/274),22.18%(57/257),respectively.Conclusion 1.The Hp infection rate in children with RAP increased with age;2.The Hp infection rate in children with RAP decreased year after year.

As one of the most serious hereditary neuromuscular disease, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is caused by the loss or mutation of survival motor neuron 1 (SMN1) gene. It leads to a decrease in the level of SMN protein and a consequent loss of alpha neurons and progressive muscle atrophy resulting in the progressive muscle weakness, the significant disability and the shortened lifespan. Up till now, only three drugs have been approved for SMA, including the gene therapy drug onasemnogene abeparvovec. The antisense oligonucleotide drug nusinersen and and the small molecule chemical drug risdiplam were briefly introduced. Some representative samples of the small molecule chemical drugs and antisense oligonucleotide drugs targeting SMN2 in the clinical trial or preclinical research phases were also reviewed.

Methods The solvent extraction approach and silica column chromatography were used to separate the chemical constituents, and their structures were identified by physicochemical properties and spectra analysis. Results Ten compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as α-amyrin(l),α-amyrin acetate(2),palmitic acid(3), tetratriacontanol(4),stigmasterol(5), (β-daucosterol(6), lupeol(7), calycosin(8), luteolin(9), and glaucocalyxin A(l0). Conclusion Compound l,3∼l0 have been isolated from this plant for the first time, and compound 7, 9 and 10 have been isolated from Ervatamia genus for the first time.
