1.PHONON-EXCITON MECHANISM IN YBa2Cu3O7-δ SYSTEM
Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2006;18(1):28-31
In this paper, based on the phonon-exciton mechanism, the superconductivity of yttrium barium copper oxide (YBCO) system is explained. The transition temperature (Tc) 's formula is derived by the extended BCS-Eliashberg theory, i.e. phonon-exciton mechanism and McMillan's energy gap function, and the Tc's expressions isreduced by using the Einstein spectrum. Last, the calculating method of element metal effective phonon spectrum is used to the high Tc cuprate YBCO system by using a crystal average atom approximation model. The theoretical analysis and calculational results show that the superconductivity of high Tc YBCO system maybe described by phonon-exciton model.

Objective To evaluate the effects of pulmonary recruitment (RM) in severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) with different body position and positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) mode in stage of mechanical ventilation. Methods From June 2013 to June 2016, 80 cases of ICU hospitalized patients with clinical data were enrolled, and they lay in the prone or supine position (prone position group and supine position group, each of 40 cases). The hemodynamic parameters including heart rate (HR), central venous pressure (CVP) and peripheral arterial pressure, respiratory mechanics index including respiratory rate (RR), respiratory system compliance (Crs) and platform pressure (Pplate), and the changes of blood gas analysis index were monitored to observe the effects of RM in different positions with positive end expiratory pressure increasing method. Results The levels of oxygenation index and arterial partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2) were improved 3, 5 and 7 d after treatment compared with those 1 d after treatment (P<0.05), and they were improved significantly in prone position group than those in supine position group 3 and 5 d after treatment (P<0.05). The levels of RR, Crs and Pplate 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 6 h, 12 h and 24 h after RM had significant differences compared with those before RM (P<0.01). The levels of HR, CVP, peripheral arterial pressure 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 6 h, 12 h and 24 h after RM had no significant differences compared with those before RM (P>0.05). Conclusions For patients with severe ARDS, early implementation of prone position ventilation combined with PEEP increasing method re-expansion treatment is safe and reliable. It can effectively improve oxygenation level and help to improve the survival rate.

Objective:To explore the status of HIV infection, time trends and related factors of MSM in Harbin from 2009 to 2018 and provide evidences for comprehensive prevention and control strategies of MSM HIV/AIDS.Methods:From April to July during 2009-2018, continuous cross-sectional studies were conducted on MSM recruited through snowball sampling. The unified questionnaire was used to collect demographic, behavioral, and serological information. The SPSS 23.0 software was used for statistical analysis, and the Joinpoint 4.8.0.1 software was applied to the annual percent change (APC) for time trends analysis using the Joinpoint regression model. Results:A total of 4 813 MSM were surveyed in Harbin from 2009 to 2018. The overall HIV antibody positive rate was 11.3 % ( 543/4 813). Joinpoint regression analysis showed that there was an increase in the HIV antibody positive rate from 2009 to 2015, while the segmentation point was in 2015 ( Z=4.2, P<0.05) but, there was a decrease from 2015 to 2018( Z=-1.3, P=0.3). The positive rate of syphilis antibody was 12.9% (621/4 813). There was a decrease in the positive rate of syphilis antibodies from 2009 to 2013 ( Z=-2.8 ,P<0.05). There was a decrease in the positive rate of syphilis antibodies from 2013 to 2018 ( Z=-0.7, P=0.5). Results from multiple logistic aggression analysis showed that the risk factors associated with the prevalence of HIV infection including network recruitment (a OR=1.307, 95% CI: 1.057-1.617), age 30 and above (a OR=1.905, 95% CI: 1.235-2.939) and syphilis antibody positive (a OR=4.728, 95% CI: 3.751-5.961). Protective factors appeared: knowledge of HIV/AIDS (a OR=0.598, 95% CI: 0.433-0.825) and consistent use of condom during anal sex in the past six months (a OR=0.683, 95% CI: 0.550-0.850). Conclusions:The HIV antibody positive rate peaked in 2015 among MSM in Harbin from 2009 to 2018, first increased and then decreased. The positive rate of syphilis antibody showed a decreasing trend. Intervention models based on social media software, age 30 and above and syphilis antibody-positive need to be explored. It also promotes condom use and referral for syphilis among MSM.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the anti-diabetic effects of linarin, a flavonoid extracted from Chrysanthemi Indici Flos (CIF), and its potential mechanisms. Methods: The effects of linarin on cell viability and glucose consumption in HepG2 cells were measured. Meanwhile, monosodium glutamate (MSG) mouse model was constructed to monitor the changes of insulin tolerance, glucose tolerance, triglyceride and cholesterol. The protein expression levels of p-AMPK, p-ACC, PEPCK and p-GS were detected by Western blot. Results: Linarin could increase the relative glucose consumption of HepG2 cells, improve insulin tolerance and glucose tolerance, and decrease the levels of triglyceride and cholesterol of MSG mice. Simultaneously, the expression levels of p-AMPK and p-ACC in HepG2 cells and the liver tissue of MSG mice were increased, while the expression levels of PEPCK and p-GS were decreased after treatment with linarin. Conclusion: Insulin resistance could be ameliorated by linarin in type 2 diabetes, and its mechanism may be related to AMPK signaling pathway.

Objective:To explore the safety and efficacy of ultrasound-assisted facial filler injection, based on the anatomy of facial vessels to prevent intravascular embolization. Methods:From Jan. 2019 to Sep. 2020, 142 patients were treated with facial soft-tissue filler injection (mean age, 39.7 years; 131 female and 11 male). According to the patients' own will, autologous fat or hyaluronic acid was applied respectively. When injecting, the assistant could press over the periorbital artery to temporarily occlude the artery, confirmed with Doppler ultrasound, thus reduced the risk of intravascular embolization, and carefully injected with minimal pressure and tiny amount. Results:A total of 142 patients were enrolled in the study, and 54 patients were treated with autologous fat grafting, while 88 patients were injected with hyaluronic acid. The injection sites included forehead, temple, glabella, nasal root, tear trough, nasolabial fold, cheek, chin, and lips. Facial rejuvenation improvement was satisfied with a smooth contour and proper augmentation. No vascular embolization occurred. 9 patients received a second or third round fat grafting to achieve better outcome. Follow-up duration ranged from 1 month to 6 months. Conclusions:With ultrasound assistant, digital pressure over the orbital artery could temporarily occlude the artery and may reduce the risk of intravascular embolization. The simple technique may add a significant benefit with no additional cost or risk to the patients.

To develop a new recombinant hepatitis E vaccine, we used Hansenula polymorpha expression system to express recombinant hepatitis E virus-like particles (HEV VLPs), to construct a recombinant engineered strain HP/HEV2.3. The fermentation conditions and purification process were studied next. The first working seed lots were fermented in liquid culture, and the fermentation products were collected, then crushed, clarified, purified by ultrafiltration, silica gel adsorbed and desorbed, concentrated by ultrafiltration, purified by liquid chromatography and sterilized by filtration. The purity reached 99% with a yield of 33%. Electron microscopy analysis revealed that both the purified recombinant HEV VLPs from HP/HEV2.3 and natural hepatitis E virus particles appear identical of being 32 nm. The resulting DNA sequence obtained from VLPs is identical to the published HEV sequence. The SDS-PAGE analysis has revealed that the protein molecular weight of the HEV VLPs is 56 kDa, and the expression product HEV VLPs were accumulated up to 26% of total cellular protein. The expression level is 1.0 g/L. Western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) results of the protein and ED₅₀ of the vaccine showed that the HEV VLPs have good antigenicity and immunogenicity. In summary, the recombinant HEV VLPs from Hansenula polymorpha can be used in the manufacture of a new genetically engineered vaccine against hepatitis E.
