OBJECTIVE:To observe the safety and therapeutic efficacy of low molecular weight heparin calcium in the preven-tion of venous thromboembolism (VTE) of ICU patients. METHODS:572 VTE patients were randomly divided into trial group and control group, with 286 cases in each group. Trial group was given Low molecular weight heparin calcium injection 0.3-0.6 ml, im,qd;control group was given Rivaroxaban tablet 10 mg,po,qd. The incidence of VTE,platelet count, coagulation function, quality score of life and the occurrence of ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:The incidence of VTE in trial group (0.3%)was significantly lower than control group(2.1%),with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical signifi-cance in platelet count, prothrombin time,APPT, fibrinogen and other indexes between 2 groups before and after treatment(P>0.05). The physical health, body function and role, general health, emotional role function, mental health and other aspects of trial group were improved significantly, compared to control group, with statistical significance(P>0.05). No obvious ADR was found in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Low molecular weight heparin calcium can effectively prevent VTE and improve the quality of life, while doesn’t influence platelet count and coagulation function with good safety.

Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of Bcl-6, c-myc gene abnormalities in Xinjiang Uygur and Han dif-fused large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) subtypes. Methods:Bcl-6, c-myc gene was detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization in 233 patients with DLBCL . A relationship was observed among Bcl-6, c-myc gene translocation, and clinical data in DLBCL patients. In addition, a difference was observed among Bcl-6, c-myc gene translocation, and different ethnic groups in different subtypes of DLB-CL. Results:Among the 233 patients, 51 cases (21.89%) had rearranged Bcl 6 gene, and 39 cases (16.74%) had rearranged c-myc gene. Bcl-6 gene translocation and expression was related with age, gender, disease location, clinical stage, and LDH levels (P>0.05), but was not related with nationality , international prognostic index score, extranodal involvement, B symptoms, DLBCL subtypes, and recent efficacy (P<0.05);c-myc gene translocation and expression was related with age, gender, disease location, clinical stage LDH levels, and DLBCL subtypes (P>0.05), but was not related with nationality, IPI score, extranodal involvement, B symptoms, and recent effica-cy (P<0.05). In the Uygur and Han GCB groups, Bcl-6, c-myc gene translocation showed no significant difference (P>0.05). By con-trast, in the Uygur and Han non-GCB groups, Bcl-6, c-myc gene translocation showed significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion:Bcl-6, C-myc gene translocation was related with age, gender, disease location, clinical stage, and LDH levels. Bcl-6 gene translocation was also correlated with different subtypes of DLBCL.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of transcatheter closure of coronary artery fistula (CAF) by transthoracic echocardiography(TTE) and the role of TTE in this therapy. Methods CAF were occluded with transcatheter closure techniques in 17 patients. TTE was performed before and after the treatments. The key points were retrospectively analyzed including: the sites of CAF, the position and diameter of CAF,the shape and position of the devices after the intervention, the residual shunt, and cardiac chamber size. Results Before the therapy,TTE made definite diagnosis of CAF. All patients had lesions in single coronary artery, and the diameter of CAF was 2-14 (6.4 ± 3.5)mm. All patients underwent transcatheter closure successfully. TTE revealed the shunts disappear 1-4 days after the occlusion. During a follow-up period of 1- 29 (11.7± 7.9)months,no residual shunts, no complications, and normal size of thecardiac chambers were recognized by TTE. Conclusions The transcatheter closure of CAF has emerged as a less invasive, safe and effective strategy. Echocardiography has important role in primary screening of patients and the follow-up after the treatments.

Objective To compare the efficiency of intra-articular injection of tranexamic acid (TXA) and autolo-gous transfusion drain on the blood loss after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods A total of 124 patients (124 knees) with varus knee osteoarthritis, who were performed TKA,were retrospectively analyzed. Patients included 24 males and 100 females. The mean age was(65.03±6.84)years. Due to the blood loss control method, patients were divided into two groups including TXA application group (test group, n=49) and autologous transfusion drain group (control group, n=75). The data of blood routine examination, blood loss and blood transfusion after TKA were analyzed. Results The blood transfusion rates were 10.20%(5/49) in test group and 17.33%(13/75) in control group 7 days after TKA surgery. There was no signifi-cant difference between two groups (P>0.05). There were significant differences in red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb) and haematocrit (HCT) between groups and effects of interaction in the two groups (P<0.01). There were significantly higher values of RBC, Hb and HCT at 1, 3 and 7 days after surgery in test group than those of control group (P<0.05).The total blood loss 1 and 3 days after TKA was significantly lower in test group than that of control group (P<0.05). There was no sig-nificant difference in the blood loss 7 days after surgery between two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The single dose intra-articular injection of tranexamic acid is a safe and effective procedure for hemostasis after TKA.
