1.Adverse Drug Reactions of 6 Kinds of Quinolones

OBJECTIVE To analyze the adverse drug reactions of 6 kinds of quinolones in order to provide information for clinically rational use of drugs.METHODS The adverse drug reactions of quinolones such as norfloxacin,ofloxacin,levofloxacin,ciprofloxacin,fleroxacin and rufloxacin used in outpatients during Feb to May 2007 were collected and retrospectively analyzed.RESULTS The main adverse drug reactions were seen in gastrointestinal system,nervous system,immune system,respiratory system,urinary system etc.From them the symptoms of gastrointestinal system and nervous system were prominent.CONCLUSIONS In use of quinolones it should think highly to their adverse drug reactions.
2.Antimicrobial Use in Cardiac Surgical During Perioperative Period:An Investigation and Analysis

OBJECTIVE To find out the situation of antimicrobial usage in cardiac surgical perioperative period.METHODS The use of antimicrobials in cardiac surgical perioperative patients during Jan-Jun 2007,and the data of reasonable use of antibacterial were surveyed and evaluated.RESULTS Of the 276 patients,100.00% of them had received antimicrobials involving 12 kinds,59.78% of them used one kind only and 34.78% used two kinds antibiotics and 5.43% used more three kinds.CONCLUSIONS The use of antimicrobials in cardiac surgical perioperative period is reasonable and scientific.
3.Determination of Eucalyptol, Camphor and Menthol in Compound Menthol Camphor Eucalyptus Oil Solution by GC

Objective: To establish a method for the determination of eucalyptol, camphor and menthol in compound menthol camphor eucalyptus oil solution by GC.Methods: An HP-INNOWAX 19091N-216 capillary column(60 m× 0.32 mm , 0.50 μm)was used.The carrier gas was nitrogen with the flow rate of 30 ml·min-1 , the gas was hydrogen with the flow rate of 40 ml·min-1 and the oxidant gas was air with the flow rate of 400 ml· min-1.The detector was FID and the inlet temperature was 250℃.The temperature program was as follows: the initial column temperature was 50℃, and then risen to 160℃ with a rate of 10℃·min-1 and kept for 5 min, and finally risen to 220℃ with a rate of 20℃·min-1 and kept for 3 min.The split ratio was 15∶1 and the injection volume was 1 μl.Results: The linear range of eucalyptol, camphor and menthol was 0.031 9-2.550 0 mg·ml-1 (r=1.000 0), 0.041 3-3.305 0 mg·ml-1 (r=1.000 0) and 0.053 7-4.294 0 mg·ml-1 (r=1.000 0), respectively.The average recovery was 98.24% (RSD=0.3% , n =9), 98.97% (RSD=0.4% , n =9) and 98.98% (RSD=0.5% , n =9), respectively.Conclusion: The method is sensitive and accurate with good stability, which can be used to determine the contents of eucalyptol, camphor and menthol in compound menthol camphor eucalyptus oil solution.
4.Clinal analysis of 202 nasal bone fractures cases.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the age, sex, etiology, diagnosis and treatment time of nasal bone fractures.
METHOD:
Clinical data of 202 cases with nasal bone fractures treated in the hospital were retrospectively analysed.
RESULT:
A total of 202 cases,163 men (80. 7%) and 39 women (19. 3%). Fifty-two patients had a relationship with alcohol consumption, and all of them were males. The most frequent reasons of the injury were fight 46. 5% (94 cases) followed by falling-down 21. 3% (43 cases), traffic accidents 19. 3% (39 cases), works related 6. 5% (13 cases), sport injuries 5. 9% (12 cases) and others 0. 5% (1 cases). Patients distribution in seasons were: spring 54 cases (26.7%), summer 42 cases (20.8%), autumn 58 cases (28.7%), winter 48 cases (23. 8%). Diagnosis of nasal bone fractures were made positively by x-ray films in 79. 7% of cases, but 100% by CT. Positive predictive value of CT was superior to that of X-ray films in the diagnosis of nasal bone fracture.
CONCLUSION
High morbidity of nasal bone fracture was seen in the age group of 20-29 years, and predominantly in male. Fight was found to be the main etiologic factor. We think that CT is necessary for diagnosing nasal bone fracture.

5.The value of MCV, MCH and HbA2 in laboratory screening of thalassemia

ObjectivesTo explore the roles of mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH) and hemoglobin A2 (HbA2) in the laboratory screening of thalassemia,and to find optimal screening modality for different conditions.Methods From September 2008 to May 2011,1384 subjects underwent thalassemia screening at Department of Obstertrics andGynecology of Nanfang Hospital.Of them,1036 cases were diagnosed with thalassemia (408 α-thalassemia,608 β-thalassemia,and 20 αβ compound thalassemia,thalassemia group) and 348 without thalassemia,non-thalassemia group.All subjects were screened respectively for MCV,MCH and HbA2.Analyses were performed in all subjects to assess the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and diagnostic accuracy respectively associated with MCV,MCH and HbA2 alone,combination of MCV and MCH,and combination of MCV,MCH and HbA2.Results( 1 ) In the thalassemia group,the sensitivity of MCV alone was 92.9% (379/408) for α thalassemia,99.3% (604/608) for β thalassemia and 100.0%(20/20) for αβ compound thalassemia.In the non-thalassemia group,the specificity of MCV alone was 75.0% (261/348).(2) In the thalassemia group,the sensitivity of MCH alone was 92.9% (379/408) in α thalassemia,99.0% (602/608) in β thalassemia and 100.0% (20/20) in αβ compound thalassemia.In the non-thalassemia group,the specificity of MCH alone was 72.7 % (253/348).(3) The sensitivity of Hb A2 alone was 67.4% (275/408) for α thalassemia,97.5% (593/608) for 3 thalassemia,and 100% (20/20) for α3 compound thalassemia while it's specificity was 72.4% (252/348) in the non-thalassemia group.(4)With positive indexes of MCV,MCH and MCV + MCH,when HbA2 > 3.5% it had a high value in [β-thalassemia screening,but when HbA2 < 2.5% it had little value in α-thalassemia screening.(5) As a single marker,MCV and MCH had better sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and diagnosis accuracy than HbA2.MCV + MCH was the best for overall screening,but for [β thalassemia screening,MCV + MCH + HbA2 was the best.ConclusionsMCV and MCH are suitable for epidemic screening in a large population,physical examination and premarital check-up.Hb electrophoresis andthalassemiagenediagnosisarerecommendedforsubjectswithpositiveMCVandMCH indexes.Diagnoses of α and β-thalassemia gene are recommended for pregnant women with positive MCV and MCH indexes.
6.Effect of Ang-1 on pulmonary VE-cadherin and barrier function in septic mice

Objective To investigate the impact of Ang-1 on the septic mice′pulmonary vascular endothelial barrier function and VE-cadherin and its mechanism. Methods 80 BALB/c mice were randomly divided into NS, LPS, LPS+Ang-1, LPS+Ang-1+ Ly and Ang-1 groups (n = 16). Measure VE-cadherin, Ang-2 levels in plasma and lung permeability index (LPI).Test the total VE-cadherin of lung and the phosphorylation of VE-cadherin expression. Results Plasma Ang-2 was higher compared with NS group(P<0.01) except Ang-1 group. In LPS+Ang-1 group and LPS+Ang-1+Ly group, plasma Ang-2 was lower compared with LPS group (P <0.05). In LPS+Ang-1+Ly group, plasma Ang-2 was higher compared with LPS+Ang-1 group (P<0.01). LPI, plasma VE-cadherin and lung phosphorylation of VE-cadherin were the same with the trends of the plasma Ang-2 , but the lung total VE-cadherin showed the opposite tendency. Conclusion Through the PI3K/Akt signal transduction pathway , Ang-1 may regulate septic mice′VE-cadherin , hence the pulmonary vascular endothelial barrier function improved.
7.A logistic retrospective analysis about the risk factors of cerebral hemorrhage after the liver transplantation

Objective Analysis the risk factors which maybe caused the cerebral hemorrhage after the liver transplantation, and then make out the counter nursing measures. Methods Selected 12 patients with cerebral hemorrhage after the liver transplantation as the experimental group, and then matching 48 patients without cerebral hemorrhage after the liver transplantation as the control group. Analysis the factor which related the cerebral hemorrhage. Results The factors which related the cerebral hemorrhage after the liver transplantation included in the Intensive Care Unite, heme level, Child level, APTT, albumin, blooding volume during the operation, operation time and the postoperative blood platelet level. The factors of Child level and the blooding volume during the operation were the independence risk factors of cerebral hemorrhage. Conclusion The factors of Child level and the blooding volume during the operation were the independence risk factors of cerebral hemorrhage, we should carry out counter nursing measures to prevent them.
8.Application of OBI system in intensity-modulated radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Objective To examine the application of On-Board Imaging (OBI) system-based image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) in the improvement of the precision of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods Ten patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were treated with IMRT using the OBI system. The IGRT images after positioning, position adjustment, and treatment were observed and recorded to investigate the image difference between CT simulation and IGRT. Results The deviations in the x (lateral), y (cranial-caudal), and z (ventral-dorsal) directions between CT simulation and IGRT images were 0.22±1.00 mm,-0.37±1.28 mm, and 0.04±1.36 mm, respectively, after positioning, 0.29±0.76 mm,-0.04±0.78 mm, and -0.01±0.92 mm, respectively, after position adjustment, and 0.20±0.78 mm, 0.16±0.80 mm, and 0.05±0.92 mm, respectively, after treatment. The probabilities of a ≤1 mm deviation in the x, y, and z directions were 81.0%, 77.6%, and 88.2%, respectively, after positioning, 92.5%, 96.4%, and 96.4%, respectively, after position adjustment, and 91.7%, 94.9%, and 96.8%, respectively, after treatment. Conclusions The application of OBI system-based IGRT is very important in the improvement of the precision of fractionated IMRT for patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The position of the patient should be adjusted based on the IGRT image after positioning in order to correct set-up error and effectively increase the precision of fractionated IMRT.
9.Simultaneous Determination of 7 Components in Tanreqing Capsules by HPLC

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of 7 components in Tanreqing capsules.METHODS:HPLC method was adopted.The determination was performed on Ultimate XB C18 column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.2% formic acid (gradient elution) at a flow rate of 0.8 mL/min.The detection wavelength was set at 325 nm,and column temperature was 35 ℃.The sample size was 10 μL.RESULTS:The linear ranges of chlorogenic acid,isoforsythiaside A,forsythiaside A,isochlorogenic acid B,isochlorogenic acid A,isochlorogenic acid C and baicalin were 0.025-0.5 μg(r=0.999 6),0.025-0.5 μg (r=0.999 7),0.050-1.0 μg (r=0.999 9),0.025-0.5 μg((r=0.999 7),0.025-0.5 μg ((r=0.999 6),0.025-0.5 μg (r=0.999 6),0.750-1.5 μg(r=0.999 9),respectively.The limit of quantitation was no more than 1.5 ng,and the limit of detection was 0.5 ng.RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were all lower than 3.0%.The recoveries were 95.28%-106.30% (RSD ranged 0.97%-2.14%,n=9).CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,precise,stable and reproducible,and can be used for simultaneous determination of 7 components in Tanreqing capsules.
10.Clinical research of psychological nursing intervention on the compliance of pain medication in ederly patients with malignant tumor

Objective To explore the effect of psychological nursing intervention on the compliance of pain medication in ederly patients with malignant tumor.Methods Retrospective analysis of 92 elderly patients with malignant tumors was conducted.All patients were treated with standardized drugs according to the three-step analgesic principle.The patients were randomly divided into two groups,the control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was given psychological nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.The improvement of pain response,depression and anxiety,the treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction of two groups before and after treatment were compared.Results The pain relief rate of the observation group was 89.36%,which was significantly higher than 64.44% of the control group (Z =-3.534,P < 0.05).The total remission rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (x2 =4.058,P < 0.05).The depression score of the observation group [(17.52 ± 4.06) points] was significantly lower than (23.35 ± 3.24) points of the control group (t =7.592,P < 0.05).The anxiety score of the observation group [(17.52 ± 4.06) points] was significantly lower than (18.05 ± 4.02) points of the control group (t =7.622,P < 0.05).The compliance of the observation group witb analgesic drugs was better than that of the control group (Z =-6.994,P < 0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 87.23%,which was significantly higher than 75.56% of the control group (Z =-2.764,P < 0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention can effectively improve the pain response,anxiety and depression of elderly patients with malignant tumor,thus to improve the compliance and safety of the treatment and the care of nursing staff.
