Objective The double-cavity balloon oppressor surgery for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) has been utilized in past decades. But we have not yet a domestic device available. Present study was to investigate the effectiveness of double-cavity balloon oppressor using a domestic device in primary RRD surgery. Methods This clinical trial was a prospective study. Total 74 cases of patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD) (74 eyes) were enrolled. Double-cavity balloon oppressor surgery was performed in 40 eyes of 40 patients, and conventional segmental scleral buckling surgery was used in 34 eyes of 34 patients. The mean operative time, retinal attachment rate, vision and astigmatism change after operation between two different operative fashions were compared. The intra- and post-operative complication was discussed. The mean follow-up period was 4. 5 months. Written informed consent was obtained from all the patients before clinical trial. Results The retinal anatomic attachment rate was 92. 5% (37/40) in balloon oppressor surgery group and 91. 1% (31/34) in conventional surgery group, and there were no significant difference in retinal attachment rate among PVR grade A, B and C1 (P ＞0. 05) . The postoperative best corrected visual acuity (operative 3 months) was improved in 29 eyes(72. 5%) after balloon oppressor surgery and 25 eyes(73. 5%) after conventional surgery, showing insignificant difference between them (P ＞ 0. 05) . The mean surgical time was about (27. 00 ±8. 60) minutes in balloon oppressor surgery group and (47. 00 ± 14. 30) minutes in conventional surgery group(t =7. 41, P ＜0. 01) . Cylinder diopter change after surgery was insignificantly different between before and after operation in balloon oppressor surgery group (0. 52 ± 0. 30 D vs 0. 81 ± 0. 41 D, P ＞ 0. 05), however, there was a significant difference in cylinder diopter change between preoperation and postoperation (0. 65 ± 0. 32 D vs 1. 83 ± 0. 69 D, P ＜ 0. 05) . Conclusion Double-cavity balloon oppressor surgery for RRD is accurate and reliable. This operation procedure offer an economic, efficient and convenient choice for treatment of RRD.

OBJECTIVE To study the relative bioequivalence of two sorts of domestic roxithromycin tablets. METHODS The randomized and crossover study was conducted in 18 healthy volunteers. After a single dose of the drugs given, their plasma drug concentration was determined by microbioassay. RESULTS Both the two sorts of domestic roxithromycin tablets were fitted to one compartment model. The main pharmacokinetic parameters of the tested and reference roxithromycin were as follows: C_ max (10.869?2.671) ?g/ml and (11.250?3.097)?g/ml; T_ max (1.7?0.8)h and (1.6?0.8) h; t_ 1/2 (13.407?2.391)h and (12.496?2.231) h; AUC_ 0-tn (127.097?32.971)?g?ml~ -1 ?h and (134.429?35.783) ?g?ml~ -1 ?h;AUC_ 0-∞ (136.556?33.958)?g?ml~ -1 ?h and (143.483? 38.052 ) ?g?ml~ -1? h; F_ 0-tn and F_ 0-∞ were (95.79?17.46)% and (96.58?16.66)%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The results of analysis showed that the tested and reference formulations are bioequivalent.

Objective To investigate the effect of fluvastatin on ventricular remodeling and serum tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)level in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction.Methods 87 elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction were chosen in Jiande Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from October 2014 to October 2016,were randomly divided into control group(42 cases)and observation group(45 cases),the control group received aspirin,PI Gray chlorine and other conventional treatment,the observation group were given fluvastatinon the basis of the control group treatment.The changes of cardiac function and serum inflammatory factor TNF-α levels were observed before and after treatment.Results After the treatment,left ventricular weight index such asleft ventricular systolic volume index,left ventricular diastolic membrane membrane volume index,left ventricular ejection fraction in the two groups were improved in different degree,but the observation group improved significantly(P<0.05).In the control group,there was no significant improvement; and after treatment,the indexes of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The effective rate in the observation groupwas 93.33％,was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum TNF-α were significantly improved in the observation group,and the level of serum was significantly decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the observation group after the treatment was obviously lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction with fluvastatin can better improve the patient's heart function,improve the body's inflammatory level,effectively improve the treatment effect,inhibit ventricular remodeling.

Objective To study the consistency and complementarity of endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS),white light endoscopy (WLE) and magnifying endoscopy (ME) in diagnosis of ulcerative colitis (UC).Methods We collected 125 cases of UC patients diagnosed by WLE and EUS (including 51 cases of WLE + ME + EUS).According to UC mucosal morphology under WLE and crypt openings under ME,we divided all the cases into several groups and analyzed intestinal wall thickness (TWT) under EUS in each group.Results According to the results of UC inflammation degree under WLE,all patients were divided into four groups: 16 severe cases,46 moderate cases,44 mild,and 19 remission stage.TWT results were (5.903 ± 1.551 ) mm,(4.673 ± 1.235 ) mm,(3.756 ± 1.322 )mm and ( 3.464 ± 0.970) mm,respectively.Differences were significant between any two groups ( P ＜ 0.05 ),except for that between mild and remission groups.According to the results of UC inflammation degree under ME,all patients were divided into six groups: 9 cases of villous-like structure,9 cases of typical coral reef-like structure,8 severe coral reef-like structure,13 regular crypt opening,6 epithelial minimal defect and 6 small yellow spot (SYS).TWT results were (5.701 ±0.941 )mm,(5.518 ±0.581 )mm,(5.181 ±0.751 )mm,(3.763 ±0.659) mm,(3.587 ±0.461 )mm and (2.505 ± 0.330 )mm,respectively.Differences were significant between any two groups ( P ＜ 0.05 ) except for those between epithelial minimal defect and regular crypt opening,typical coral reeflike structure,villous-like and severe coral reef-like structure.EUS results showed SYS (6/6) and regular crypt opening ( 10/13 ) were mostly located in mucosa,while lesions of severe coral reef-like structure (8/8) invaded the muscularis propria.Conclusion EUS shows high consistency with WLE and ME in diagnosis of UC inflammation degree and invasive depth.It could assist and even substitute ME for evaluation.

Related researches found that there exist relative specific microRNA (miRNA) expression patterns in the blood or urine of patients with tumor,and miRNA in the blood and urine are stable and reproducible.Therefore,miRNA can serve as non-traumatic biological markers for the early diagnosis,individualized treatment,prognosis monitoring or follow-up of cancer.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the incidence and risk factors for hypertension among taxi drivers working different shifts.

METHODSUsing the cluster sampling method, 415 day-shift and 304 night-shift taxi drivers in Jinan, China were selected and investigated. The influencing factors for hypertension were analyzed.

RESULTSThe incidence of hypertension in all taxi drivers was 33.2%. The incidence of hypertension in night-shift drivers was significantly higher than that in day-shift drivers (37.8% vs 29.9%, P<0.05). According to multivariate analysis, the incidence of hypertension in day-shift drivers was closely related to body mass index (BMI), working years, working hours, sleep duration, rest days, diet quality, water intake, and smoking, while the incidence of hypertension in night-shift drivers was closely related to BMI, working years, working hours, part-time job, sleep duration, rest days, and drinking.

CONCLUSIONBMI, working years, and working hours are the common risk factors for hypertension in day-shift and night-shift drivers. Sleep duration and rest days are the common protective factors. The risk factors for hypertension in taxi drivers vary with different shifts.

OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical effect of acupuncture for depression and to discuss its impact on the content of 5-HT in patients with depression.

METHODSEighty patients with depression were randomly divided into an acupuncture group and a western medication group,40 cases in each one. Acupuncture was applied in the acupuncture group,Siman(KI 14),Shenshu(BL 23),Guanyuan(CV 4),Dazhui(GV 14),Yinlingquan(SP 9), Zusanli(ST 36),Taichong(LR 3),Yanglingquan(GB 34) and Jingming(BL 1) were selected, the intensive moxibustion was applied at G(uanyuan(CV 4). Fluoxetine was treated with oral administration in the western medication group. The treatments of six weeks were required in each group. The Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD) was applied to evaluate efficacy and serum 5-HT was detected before and after treatment in the two groups.

RESULTSAfter treatment,the scores of HAMD were decreased obviously in the two groups compared with those before treatment (scores in the acupuncture group: 24. 48 ± 0. 28 vs 8. 95 ± 2. 24; scores in the western medication group: 24. 14±0. 24 vs 10. 29±1. 30),and the differences were statistically significant (both P<0. 05). Between the two groups,the scores of HAMD in the acupuncture group at the end of the lst,2nd,4th,6th weeks were superior to those in the western medication group (all P<0. 05). The content of serum 5-HT after treatment was increased markedly compared with that before treatment [the content in the acupuncture group: (26. 21 2. 36)pg/mL vs (52. 07 ± 0. 56)pg/mL, the content in the western medication group:(26. 26±2. 31)pg/mL vs (51. 70±0. 52)pg/ mL, both P<0. 05]. But there was no statistic significance between the two groups(P >0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe efficacy of acupuncture for depression is superior to that of western medication with fluoxetine.

To develop a method that can early diagnose and routine screen out bladder cancer, but it does not impair patients by detecting cdc6 in exfoliate cell in urine of patients with bladder cancer. Methods 200 ml fresh urine of patients with bladder cancer or non bladder cancer who voided urine after morning was collected and centrifugated for urine sediment, then total RNA was extracted with TRIZOL reagent from it and detected the expression of cdc6 gene by RT PCR. Results 28 samples were positive and 2 samples were negative in 30samples of bladder cancer, positive rate was 93.3%. Positive rate was 16.7% in 30 samples of non bladder cancer. Objective To explore whether 5 to -7-day of folic acid supplementation prior to pemetrexed therapy is needed. Methods We retrospectively evaluate the outcomes of non-small cell lung cancer patients received less than the advised folic acid premedication. Seventy patients with Ⅲ-Ⅳ NSCLC were randomly divided into two groups: patients who initiated vitamin supplementation on 7 days before the first dose of pemetrexed (group A) and patients who initiated vitamin supplementation on the day of the first dose of pemetrexed (group B). Results In group A and group B, CR 0 and 0, PR 10 and 8, the response rates of 28.6% and 22.9% were observed, respectively. There was no statistically significant differences between these two groups. No significant differences were observed in the incidence of hematologic and non-hematologic toxicities. Conclusions The initiation of pemetrexed-based chemotherapy does not need to accommodate a vitamin supplementation schedule.
