OBJECTIVE: Interventional occlusion of intracristal ventricular septal defects (IVSD) is a node point. Reports concerning angiography features and successful occlusion of IVSD using domestic occluder are rare. The aim of this paper is to investigate the angiography features of IVSD and the experience of interventional occlusion with domestic occluder. METHODS: Totally 46 cases of IVSD were diagnosed by color Doppler echocardiography that they had interventional indications.According to the short axis view of aortic, they were divided into 4 groups: A (11:30-12:00), B (12:00-12:30), C (12:30-13:00) and D (13:00-13:30). Different groups were performed with adequate angle angiography to show ventricular septal defect, as well as to decide strategy, which to choose occluder and occluded methods.RESULTS: All 46 patients were occluded successful. Technical success rate was 100%, without related complications. A group included 10 cases, B group 13 cases, C group 16 cases and D group 7 cases. The left anterior oblique angle of IVSD left ventricular angiography was greater than other type of VSD, and increased gradually with the changes in the defect location (Group A to D). According to the defect size and different groups, the defects were successfully occluded with symmetric, decentered, zere-decentered type occluder. Modified pigtail catheter was good value in practice occlusion of IVSD.CONCLUSIONS: Left anterior oblique angle in IVSD left ventricular angiography should be bigger. Domestic occluder is safe, effective, with less complication and cost, which can be the first choose for patients with LVSD.

Objective To investigate the effect of olmesartan medoxomil on osteoprotegerin and serum inflammatory factor expression in atherosclerosis model rat. Methods From 2015 April in Jiangsu Institute of schistosomiasis control,24 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the following three groups:the control group was fed with standard food, the model group was fed with high fat diet based on standard food(normal food +2% cholesterol +5% goat fat +0.2% acid +7×105 IU/(kg·d) Vitamin D3),and the olmesartan group was given 3 mg/(kg·d) olmesartan gavage daily on the basis of high fat diet.On the fourth week of experiment the level of serum high sensitivity C reactive protein and serum lipids include total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein, high density lipoprotein and triglyceride were detected. The structure and changes of aortic pathology was observed. The expression of osteoprotegerinin in aortic was detected by immunohistochemistry staining and Western blot. Results Within the model group, the level of serum lipid and high-sensitivity C reactive protein increased significantly, endometrial thickness,intima-to-media thickness ratio and osteoprotegerin expression in aorta was significantly higher than that of normal group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The serum high density lipoprotein increased significantly, the level of other serum lipids and high sensitive C reaction protein decreased significantly, endometrial thickness,intima-to-media thickness ratio and osteoprotegerin expression in aorta of the olmesartan treated rats were significantly lower than those of model animals, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Olmesartan may suppress the development of atherosclerosis in model rats by decreasing the expression of osteoprotegerin and the level of serum inflammatory cytokines.

Antibiotics are a category of chemical compounds used to treat bacterial infections and are widely applied in cultivation, animal husbandry, aquaculture, and pharmacy.Currently, residual antibiotics and their metabolites pose a potential risk of allergic reactions, bacterial resistance, and increased cancer incidence.Residual antibiotics and the resulting bacterial antibiotic resistance have been recognized as a global challenge that has attracted increasing attention. Therefore, monitoring antibiotics is a critical way to limit the ecological risks from antibiotic pollution.Accordingly,it is desirable to devise new analytical platforms to achieve efficient antibiotic detection with excellent sensitivity and specificity.Quantum dots(QDs)are regarded as an ideal material for use in the development of antibiotic detection biosensors. In this review,we characterize different types of QDs,such as silicon, chalcogenide, carbon, and other doped QDs,and summarize the trends in QD-based antibiotic detection.QD-based sensing applications are classified according to their recognition strategies, including molecularly imprinted polymers(MIPs),aptamers, and immunosensors. We discuss the advantages of QD-derived antibiotic sensors, including low cost, good sensitivity, excellent stability, and fast response, and illustrate the current challenges in this field.
