Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus patent Chinese medicine in treating post-stroke constipation.
Methods: Sixty eligible patients with post-stroke constipation were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 in each group. The treatment group was intervened by acupuncture plusMa Zi Ren pill, while the control group was byMa Zi Ren pill alone. The symptoms of constipation were observed before and after intervention.
Results: After 2-week treatment, the constipation condition was improved in both groups, and the improvement in the treatment group was statistically more significant than that in the control group (P<0.05); respectively two weeks and a month after the intervention, the treatment group was superior to the control group in comparing the constipation score (P<0.05). However, acupuncture didn’t show marked effect in improving defecation speed, initial defecation time, and spontaneous discharge frequency. The treatment group had a significantly higher short-term markedly-effective rate compared with the control group (P<0.05); the long-term therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The adverse events happened in the treatment group were significantly less than those in the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion: Acupuncture at specific acupoints plus patent Chinese medicine can produce a content therapeutic efficacy.

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic efficacy of warm needling plus acupoint injection in treating post-stroke urinary retention.MethodSeventy eligible subjects with post-stroke urinary retention were randomized into a treatment group of 35 cases and a control group of 35 cases. The treatment group was intervened by warm needling plus acupoint injection, while the control group was by warm needling alone. The relevant symptoms of urinary retention were observed before and after treatment.Result After 1-week treatment, the retention condition was improved in both groups, and the treatment group was significantly superior to the control group (P<0.05); The 2-week and 1-month follow-up studies showed that the retention condition in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05). The adverse events in the treatment group were significantly less than that in thecontrol group (P<0.05).ConclusionWarm needling plus acupoint injection can produce a satisfactory efficacy in treating post-stroke urinary retention and is worth application in clinic. However, this method still needs improving as its effect on initialurination and urination duration is not significant.

0.05). Conclusions The gap junction formed by CX43 should be an important role in switching and developing the epilepsy. The synthetic polypeptide corresponding to amino acid sequence of CX43 would be a kind of new type antiepileptic drug, which might have less side effects and more potent pertinency.

Objective To study the imaging distribution feature and diagnostic value of high resolution computed tomography(HRCT)in peripheral lung cancer(PLC).Methods The feature of imaging distribution was analysed in 37 patients with PLC by pathological proved, which compared with those in 23 cases with lung benign nodules by selected randomly.A double blind method was taken on the manifestations of HRCT about lung nodules tumor-lung interface in near heart side and far heart side.①cloudy or/and shaggy②spiculate③smooth.To search and define the correlation between its distributing feature;manifestations of 3 kinds HRCT;alteration of segment level bronchus and lung benign malignancy nodules. Results Cloudy,or shaggy, spiculalte departing from heart side in lung-tumor interface by HRCT were observed in peripheral lung cancer(79%) and benign nodules(22%);smooth was observed in peripheral lung cancer(14%) and benign nodules(74%).Some cases possed simultaneously two or more than two kinds HRCT's signs.Incidence rate of emphraxis and stenosis signs of segment level bronchus in PLC was higher than that in benign nodules. Conclusion Asymmetry apo-tip dominant position distribution of cloudy or shaggy, and spiculate change of tumor-lung interface by HRCT played an important role in qualitative diagnosis of peripheral lung cancer(≤3.5 cm).The appearance reason relates with the bronchial ventilation that the lesion results in occlusion.

Objective To investigate the systolic synchrony of the left ventricle in patients with left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) or with heart failure but preserved ejection fraction (HF-PEF),and to evaluate the impact of systolic dyssynchrony on left ventricular function. Methods During June 2011 to May 2014,a total of 352 patients(160 males,192 females, average age:(67.6±7.8)years) with essential hypertension (EH) were enrolled in this retrospective study.Ultrasonic and G-MP1 were performed for assessment of left ventricular remodeling and systolic synchrony and the results were statistically analyzed by oneway analysis of variance and x2 test.Relationship between BNP and synchronic parameters as well as other clinical factors were analyzed by partial correlation analysis. Results The EH patients were divided into hypertension group (rt =182),LVH group (n =74) and HF-PEF group (n =96).In comparison to hypertension group, significant LVH developed in LVH and HF-PEF groups although the LVEF was still preserved. The LVMI of the 3 groups were (94.4±10.1),(121.1±9.8) and (123.2±10.9) g/m2,respectively(F=8.66,P<0.05).The LVEF was (58.6±7.3)%,(60.8±10.4)% and (55.1±4.6)%,respectively(F=2.89,P>0.05).Diastolic dysfunction was identified in LVH and HF-PEF groups with significantly reduced E/A ratio (1.19±0.23,0.80±0.28,0.67±0.17;F=13.46,P<0.05).Remarkable left ventricular systolic dyssynchrony with phase histogram bandwidth (PHB) of (88.4±8.6) ° and phase standard deviation (PSD) of (23.6±1.9)° and increased BNP of (228.4±69.7) ng/L were revealed in HF-PEF group. The BNP in HF-PEF group was significantly higher than that in LVH group((92.5±13.6) ng/L;q=8.63,P<0.05).Positive correlation was found between BNP level and PHB,PSD,LVMI,respectively (r=0.277-0.331,all P<0.05).Conclusion Left ventricular systolic dyssynchrony is concomitant with HF-PEF patients induced by EH,and this dyssynchrony might be one of the factors leading to diastolic dysfunction.
