Objective To investigate the clinical significance of the rate of spontaneous apoptosis and the expression of p27kip1 in transitional cell carcinoma of bladder (BTCC). Methods Immunohistochemical analysis of p27kip1 was performed on paraffin embedded tissue sections in 50 cases of BTCC, by immunohistochemical method S-P. The terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase- mediated dUTP- biotin nick end labeling (TUNEL) was used to examine the level of apoptotic cells in 50 cases of BTCC. Results In BTCC, the spontaneous apoptosis index AI was (3.0?1.5)%, the positive rate of p27kip1 was 58.0 %(29/50). Objective To observe the subarachnoid space the epidural space joint block labor analgesia (CSEA) changes of T lymphocyte subsets.Methods 100 cases of full-term mothers were randomly divided into two groups,analgesia group and the control group.The analgesic group row CSEA childbirth analgesia.Two groups of maternal cervix large 2 to 3cm (T1),when the baby was delivered (T2),24h (T3),blood was colleoted after childbirth,detected by radioimmunoassay of cortisol.Flow cytometry assay was wsed to test T lymphocyte subsets CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+,And the birth process,Apgar score,Labor pain visual analogue score (VAS) were recoroded.Results (1) Active phase of the first stage of childbirth analgesia group was significantly shorter than the control group (t =2.182,P ＜ 0.05).The second and third stage of Childbirth and neonatal Apgar score difference between the two groups was not statistically significant.(2)Serum cortisol concentration at T2 analgesia group was significantly lower that of than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).(3) The two groups in maternal blood of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+ / CD8+ were reduced to varying degrees,T3 was reduced significantly (P ＜ 0.05),Analgesia group was significantly lower than that of the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion CSEA analgesia in Childbirth can shorten the first stage of Childbirth active period,has no significant effect on the Apgar score,can alleviate the pain and stress reactions such as the suppression of the maternal immune function.

Objective To establish multi-drug resistant bladder (MDR) tumor T24 cell lines and to assess their resistant characteristics.To observe effect of genistein on doxorubicin (ADM) resistant cell lines T24/ADM.Methods Bladder tumor T24 cell line was exposed to ADM in the culture medium for the establishment of drug resistant cell lines:concentrations of ADM was stepwise increased for long exposure.Morphologic studies were performed with optical microscopy.Drug sensitivities were determined by MTT.Results Six months were taken to establish drug resistant cell lines T24/ADM.No obvious morphologic changes were observed between resistant and parental cell. But drug resistances to ADM, 5-Fu,cyclophosphamide and cisplatin were increased,and resistance index were 15.79,4.68,5.53 and 3.81,respectively.Among all groups,there were significant differences.After genistein was used to T24/ADM cells,the IC50 value of genistein was 40 μg/ml.The proliferation cells were induced by genistein at the concentration of 20-100 μg/ml. Conclusion Genistein can inhibit human urinary bladder cancer T24/ADM cell proliferation at some concentration.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of transrectal ultrasound-guided 10 cores plus fixed-point prostate biopsy for diagnosing prostate cancer.Methods The serum PSA level of 181 patients were determined with ELISA.AU the patients underwent 10 cores plus fixed-point prostate biopsy under the guidance of transrectal ultrasound.Resuits 80 cases with prostate cancer(44.2%),63 cases with benign prostatic hypertrophy (34.8%),36 cases with prostatitis(19.9%),1 cage with tuberculosis(0.6%),and 1 cage with prostate leiomyoma(0.6%).When PSA WaS more than 20 μg/L,the incidence rate of prostate cancer was significantly higher than other PSA levels.Meanwhile,Gleason scores were increased with the advance of PSA levels (P＜0.001).Conclusion Transrectal ultrasound-guided systematic 10 cores plus fixed-point prostate biopsy could significantly enhance the prostate cancer detection rate, and it was important in diagnosing prostate cancer for patients,especially when PsA was more than 20 μg/L.

Marine traditional Chinese medicine (MTCM) is an important part of Chinese medicine (CM),there are some differences in understanding of the current literature and the extension of the connotation of marine medicine,which leads to the definition dispute of MTCM,hindering clinical application and further development of MTCM.In this study,we explored the concept of MTCM in literature,discussed the attributes of ocean marine CM,summed up the differences between the land CM and MTCM over variety characteristics,effect of drug composition characteristics and biological activity characteristics,and discussed the connotation and extension of MTCM from three aspects of theoretical basis and the effect and source of the drug,leading to the formation of the narrow and broad concept of MTCM.The five kinds of disputes in the definition of MTCM were discriminated according to the concept and connotation,which provided a theoretical basis for the definition and the research of MTCM.Moreover,we also defined the English translation and its abbreviation as Marine Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM).

OBJECTIVE To investigate the drug-resistance of AmpC enzyme derepressing Enterobacter cloacae isolated from patients of respiratory department.METHODS Totally 364 strains of E.cloacae(162 strains from respiration department) collected from Jan 2001 to Dec 2006 were investigated to know their ward distribution,infection site and susceptibility test results.Three-dimensional tests were adopted to test AmpC lactamase.RESULTS Among the total 162 strains from respiration department,AmpC producers were 76 strains,accounting for 46.91%. Among the 202 strains from the other departments,however,AmpC producers were 36 strains,accounting for 17.82%.And drug-resistance of E.cloacae from respiration department was distinctly higher than that from the other departments.CONCLUSIONS E.cloacae from respiratory department has the higher isolating rate and drug-resistance rate.We should take effective measurement to contain nosocomial infections with E.cloacae.

Objective To identify the biomarkers which can be used of estimating the biological behaviors of prostate cancer with osseous metastasis by SELDI-TOF-MS. Methods Screening for potential tumor biomarkers of serum samples from 19 prostate cancer patients and 35 prostate cancer patients with osseous metastasis by using the technology of SELDI-TOF-MS and CM 10 protein chips (Ciphergen Inc. USA).The PBS Ⅱ protein chip reader was used to analyze the CM10 protein chips and transform the protein information into the form of spectra. The protein contents of two groups in the same mass-to-charge ratio (M/Z value) were analyzed and preceded the analysis of variance by Biomarker Wizard software. The proteins whose contents in serum were significantly different, which was distinguished the correctly groups by Biomarker Pattern software. Results The contents of 4 proteins in the two groups were significantly different and the M/Z values of these 6 proteins were from 2000 to 20 000. The relative protein content of prostate cancer patients group was higher than that of Prostate Cancer patients with osseous metastasis group at the M/Z value of 2089,4281, 3507 and 4178 [(4.63±8.03) vs (9.88±10.77), (19.78±21.46) vs (26.73±19.41), (5.46±10.14) vs (8.10±8.74), (38.01 ±26.27) vs (45.25±20.40), (P＜0.05)]. The relative protein content of prostate cancer patients group was lower than that of prostate cancer patients with osseous metastasis group at the M/Z value of 15 900 and 16 081 [(11.52±16.80) vs (4.84±5.83), (8.55±12.64) vs (3.56±3.90), (P＜0.05)]. Conclusion The associated serum protein in prostate cancer with osseous metastasis can be quickly and exactly diagnosed by SELDI-TOF-MS with high sensitivity and specificity. This new method will be widely used in clinical application.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of sertraline combined with brain function treatment instrument for depressive episodes.Methods According to sequence of hospitalization,80 patients with depression without severe physical disease randomly divided into sertraline with brain function treatment group (40 cases,group A) and only take sertraline group (40 cases,group B),and two groups were given Sertraline 100 mg/day for 8 weeks.24 Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-24) and 20 Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS-20) were assessed before and after 1,2,4,6,8 weekend treatment.Results The scores of HAMD-24 and SDS-20 were not significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05),but there were statistically significant after treatment (P＜0.05).They were significantly decreased after 8 weeks treatment in group A and were decreased slightly in group B with HAMD-24 and SDS-20.Clinical efficiencies of HAMD of the two groups were 87.2 ％,76.3 ％,respectively,and those of SDS were 89.7 ％,78.9 ％,respectively.Clinical efficacy in group A was significantly better than that in group B (P＜0.05).Conclusion Sertraline with brain function treatment instrument can shorten the onset time and improve its effect.
