Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of high resolution ultrasonography in peripheral nerve lesions Methods Sonographic examinations of peripheral nerves with 10 MHz probe were performed in vitro (fresh amputated specimen), in vivo (healthy volunteers), and in 28 patients with peripheral nerve lesions caused by trauma, compression and tumors preoperatively Sonograms were compared with the corresponding intraoperative findings Results The normal nerve displayed and echogenic fascicular texture with round to oval corss sectional structure on both in vitro and in vivo sonograms In traumatic lesions, the interruption of fascicular pattern reflected the disruption of nerve, and ill delineated fascicular pattern indicated nerve adhesion Centrally hypoechoic and peripherally hyperechoic changes were seen in compressive lesions Definitive relations between nerve and tumor were demonstrated in case of nerve tumor The diagnostic rate by ultrasonography was 64% when the intraoperative findings were regarded as criteria Conclusion Ultrasonography is of some diagnostic value and may have great potential to help direct treatment and follow up in peripheral nerve lesions

OBJECTIVE To investigate the drug-resistance of AmpC enzyme derepressing Enterobacter cloacae isolated from patients of respiratory department.METHODS Totally 364 strains of E.cloacae(162 strains from respiration department) collected from Jan 2001 to Dec 2006 were investigated to know their ward distribution,infection site and susceptibility test results.Three-dimensional tests were adopted to test AmpC lactamase.RESULTS Among the total 162 strains from respiration department,AmpC producers were 76 strains,accounting for 46.91%. Among the 202 strains from the other departments,however,AmpC producers were 36 strains,accounting for 17.82%.And drug-resistance of E.cloacae from respiration department was distinctly higher than that from the other departments.CONCLUSIONS E.cloacae from respiratory department has the higher isolating rate and drug-resistance rate.We should take effective measurement to contain nosocomial infections with E.cloacae.

This article was aimed to study the quality control of pineapple leaf in order to further develop the appli-cations of pineapple leave as medicinal resources. The tissue structure of pineapple leaf was observed by tissue biop-sy assay. Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) was employed on the qualitative identification of ananasate in the leave. The p-coumaric acid and ananasate were detected with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) assay in the content determination. The results showed that pineapple leaf can be divided into the upper and lower leaf epidermis with stoma under microscope observation. Ananasate of the leave can be indentified clearly by TLC. HPLC method can accurately detect the content of p-coumaric acid and ananasate of pineapple leave. There are different contents of p-coumaric acid and ananasate of pineapple leave in different origins. In Y unnan province, the contents of p-coumaric acid and ananasate of pineapple leave are the highest; while the contents of p-coumaric acid and ananasate in Guangxi province are the lowest. It was concluded that ananasate can be used in the quality identification. The p-coumaric acid and ananasate can be used in the quantitative determination in the better control of the quality of pineapple leaf.

METHODS:Based on the present situation of practical teaching system in higher vocational education,combined with the develop-ment of biomedicine industry,referring to foreign experience about vocational education mode,using the elements of the practice teaching system as the breakthrough points,hardware and software of practical teaching were highlighted and strengthened;the practical teaching system was established fromability oriented,practical teaching as the leadingpractical ability of vocational stu-dents and vocational ability talent training mode. CONCLUSIONS:The practical teaching system strengthen comprehensive practice ability training, can realize win-win between college and government,and of society. It can provide reference for improving practical teaching system of bio-medical specialty talents training.

Objective To investigate the changes in endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) number in peripheral blood of patients with acute cerebral infarction and after Naoxintong treatment.Methods Sixty patients were selected as subject and randomly divided into aspirin group and aspirin (30 patients) + Naoxintong group (30 patients).Meanwhile 30 patients without cerebral infarction were served as control group The number of peripheral blood EPCs were detected by flow cytometry at different time point.NIH-NINDS stroke score was used to elevate the neurological function.Results Compared with the control group,number of peripheral blood EPCs significantly decreased in the early stage of acute cerebral infarction (P ＜ 0.05),and then gradually increased until 7th day,which was back to the normal level.There was a positive correlation between improvement of NIHSS and number of peripheral blood EPCs in acute cerebral infarction.Compared with aspirin group,the number of peripheral blood EPCs in Naoxintong group increased sigrificanfly [41.40 ±0.18/million cells vs 41.40 ±0.18/million cells] at 14th day in patients treated with aspirin and Naoxintong.Conclusion The number of peripheral blood EPCs showed a U shape dynamic change in acute cerebral infarctior.Increase the number of peripheral blood EPCs might improve prognosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction.On the basis of routine treatment of aspirin,Naoxintong plus aspirin treatment might improve the number of peripheral blood EPCs in acute cerebral infarction.

ObjectiveTo discuss the quantitative criteria of grading nursing of three common psychiatric diseases in psychiatric department. MethodsUsing SI、N-BPRS,BRMS and HAMD scales to evaluate180 patients with schizophrenia,mania and depression upon admission and after admission.The quantitative evaluation of grading nursing of these three diseases was compared. ResultsFor the three common mental diseases N- BPRS scale scores were as follows.Superfine nursing:schizophrenia (80.66+11.22)points; mania (80.05± 15.44)points; depression (76.88±9.82)points.Primary care:schizophrenia (67.47± 10.18)points; mania ( 62.91 ± 10.19 )points; depression ( 56.63±9.52 )points; Secondary nursing:schizophrenia ( 44.04 ±8.67 )points;mania( 39.57±9.47 )points ;depression( 37.73±7.75 )points.The three- level nursing:schizophrenia( 27.97±2.19 )points;mania(27.89±2.28)points;depression(27.45±1.31 )points. ConclusionsUsing evaluating scores of NBPRS scale to determine the quantitative criteria of grading nursing of three common psychiatric diseases is a feasible choice,after training,nurses of high qualification can grasp skillfully the operation process.

Objective:To assess the configuration and systolic function of the left ventricle in patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) by routine ultrasound, two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging and three-dimensional echocardiography, and to observe the recovery after pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA).Methods:The patients who were diagnosed with CTEPH, underwent PEA and had no left heart disease were enrolled as the CTEPH group ( n=30) in the China-Japan Friendship Hospital from November 2016 and June 2021. The right heart catheterization data before and after surgery were recorded. In the meantime, gender- and age-matched healthy individuals who sought for physical examination during the same period were included as the control group ( n=23). Echocardiography findings before and after PEA were comparatively analyzed and compared between the two groups, including left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDd), right and left ventricular cross-section ratio (RVd/LVd), left ventricular global longitudinal strain (LVGLS), left ventricular end-diastolic/systolic volume index (LVEDVi/LVESVi), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular stroke volume (LVSV). Associations between the mean pulmonary arterial pressure (mPAP)/pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) and left ventricular function were discussed. Results:When compared with the control group, the LVEDd, LVEDVi, LVESVi, LVSV, LVGLS and the mitral early to late diastolic flow velocity ratio (E/A) in the CTEPH group were lower (all P<0.05). There were no significant differences between the two groups regarding LVEF, cardiac output (CO), and cardiac index (CI) (all P>0.05). There were no statistical differences of the left ventricular volume and LVSV between PEA group and the control group (both P>0.05), while the LVGLS and E/A remained lower (both P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed negative associations between mPAP and LVSV as well as E/A ( r=-0.490, -0.455; both P<0.05). Conclusions:There are changes in left ventricular configuration with abnormal filling pattern and potential systolic dysfunction in CTEPH patients. The PEA surgery could lead to recovery of the left ventricular configuration and volume, but the filling pattern and LVGLS at follow-up can not recover completely.

Objective:To assess the antibody persistence 3-5 years following vaccination of measles and rubella combined live-attenuated vaccine (MR) at 8 months of age and measles, mumps and rubella combined attenuated live vaccine (MMR) at 18 months of age.Methods:In 2016, 18-month-old children who were vaccinated with one dose of MR vaccine at the age of 8 months were recruited in Hebei Province as group 1; 4-, 5- and 6-year-old children who were vaccinated with one dose of MR vaccine at the age of 8 months and one dose of MMR vaccine at 18 months of age were recruited in Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Beijing as group 2, group 3 and group 4, respectively. Serum samples were collected to detect IgG antibodies against measles, mumps and rubella by ELISA. Geometric mean concentrations (GMCs) of measles, mumps, and rubella antibodies were compared among groups by analysis of variance or non-parametric test. Seropositive rates were compared among groups by Chi-square test or Fisher′s exact test. Results:A total of 650 children were included in this study. Seropositive rates of measles, mumps and rubella antibodies 30 d after vaccination of 150 18-month-old children with one dose of MMR vaccine were 100%, 91.33% and 100%, respectively, and the GMCs were 1 846.87 mIU/ml, 299.91 IU/ml and 111.33 IU/ml, respectively. Seropositive rates of measles, mumps and rubella antibodies 3-5 years after vaccination one dose of MR vaccine at 8 months of age and one dose of MMR vaccine at 18 months of age were above 94%, 79% and 71%, respectively, and the GMCs were above 830 mIU/ml, 240 IU/ml and 31 IU/ml. No significant difference in the seropositive rates of the three antibodies was observed among groups 2, 3 and 4 ( P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the GMCs of measles or mumps antibodies among the three groups ( P>0.05), but the differences in the GMCs of rubella antibodies were statistically significant ( P=0.034). Conclusions:Measles, mumps and rubella antibodies persisted for 3-5 years without significant decrease after vaccination one dose of MR vaccine at 8 months of age and one dose of MMR vaccine at 18 months of age.

OBJECTIVE： To establish the method for simultaneous determination of 69 kinds of pesticide residues in Paeonia tactilora， Astragalus membranaceus， Ranunculus ternatus and Cornus officinalis. METHODS： GC-MS/MS method was adopted. The determination was performed on HP-5MS fused silica capillary column with splitless injecting samples. The injector temperature was set at 240 ℃， and sample size was 1 μL. The carrier gas was high-purity helium， the inlet mode was constant pressure， the pre-column pressure was 146 kPa， and the temperature was programmed. Triple four-pole tandem mass spectrometry was used for the detection， and electron impact ion source was used as ion source. The temperature of the ion source was 230 ℃， ionization energy was 70 eV， and the collision gas was nitrogen. The inlet temperature was 280 ℃ and four-pole temperature was 150 ℃， mass spectrometry monitoring mode was multi-reaction monitoring （MRM）， and solvent delay time was 5 min. RESULTS： The linear range of 69 kinds of pesticide residue was 4.82-399.6 ng/mL （all r＞0.990）. LODs were all in the range of 0.001 7-0.013 3 mg/kg， and LOQs were all in the range of 0.000 5-0.004 mg/kg. RSDs of precision and stability tests were less than 10％ （n＝6）. RSD of reproducibility test was lower than 5％ （n＝6， only pesticide amidine and permethrin were detected）. The recoveries were in the range of 62.9％-123.5％ （all RSD＜10％， n＝6）. Among 12 batches of samples， dichlorvos and diphenylamine were detected in C. officinalis； chlordimeform and permethrin were detected in  A. membranaceus； diphenylamine and chlordimeform were detected in P. tactilora； diphenylamine and vinclozolin were detected in R. ternatus. CONCLUSIONS： The method is simple in operation and reproducible for simultaneous determination of 69 kinds of pesticide residue in   P. tactilora， A. membranaceus， R. ternatus and C. officinalis.
