In order to study the effects of soman intoxication on hemodynamics, the left ventricular pressure(LVP),the maximal changing rate of LVP(?dp/dt max),the aortic pressure(AP),the pulmonary arterial pressure(PAP),the cardiac output(CO),the cardiac index(CD and the heart rate(HR)were determined in anesthetized, chest -opened and mechanically-ventilated dogs at a simulated high altitude of 4 000m before and after an intravenous injection of 10?g/kg of soman. It was found that the toxicity of soman on cardiac functions was more severe at high altitude than at sea level.

Methods At 21751 cases of fetal systemic ultrasound examination during 20-40 weeks, 4 cases with asplenia syndrome were diagnosed. and the ultrasonographic manifestations of the 4 cases were analyzed retrospectively. Results The ultrasonographic features of fetal asplenia syndrome;①with complex and serious cardiovascular malformation; ②visceral transposition; ③ absence of spleen. BACKGROUND:Valvular interstitial cel s are the main components of the heart valves. Myofibroblasts, as a kind of valvular interstitial cel s, can express alpha-smooth muscle actin and type I col agen fiber, and hold differentiation potential. These cel s cannot only play a support role in the valve structure, but also play a regulatory role in the process of the valve normal physiological and pathological responses.
OBJECTIVE:To obtain a reliable method of separation, primary culture and identification of myofibroblasts laying a foundation for further study on the cardiac valvular calcification.
METHODS:Aortic valve myofibroblas extracted from porcine hearts were primary cultured by trypsin and col agenase combined digestive method, common enzyme-digestion method and tissue-culture method, respectively. The myofibroblast activity and morphology were observed using microscope, and myofibroblasts were identified using light microscope and immunocytochemistrial method.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Myofibroblasts had a higher activity and purity cultured by trypsin combined with col agenase II digestion method. Aortic valve myofibroblasts were positive for alpha-smooth muscle actin and negative for von Wil ebrand factor under fluorescence microscope, suggesting that myofibroblasts were successful y obtained.

Objective To observe the levels of neutrophil CD64 expression in prostatic fluid of patients with chronic prostatitis and different degrees of infection,to evaluate the value of CD64 in diagnosis and treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis. Methods 100 subjects were divided into two groups according to chronic prostatitis symptom index (CPSI) established by the National Institutes of Health (NIH):CPSI high score group and CPSI low group, bacterial infection group, and 30 healthy controls.CD64 expression of neutrophils in prostatic fluid was detected by flow cytometry and prostate fluid routine microscopy inspection. Results The expression of CD64 in severe group (high score) was (4857.25±278.45) molecules / cell, which was significantly higher than that in the mild group (P<0.05).There was significant difference between the mild group and the nonbacterial infection group or the healthy control group (P<0.01).There was no significant difference between nonbacterial infection group and healthy control group. The expression of CD64 was positively correlated with some white blood cells in the bacterial infection group, but not the whole.ROC curve was drawn according to the data of the subjects. When CD64 was 2135.2 molecules/cell,the sensitivity was 92.9% and the specificity was 91.7%.Conclusion Quantitative detection of CD64 in prostatic fluid can be used as a sensitive index for diagnosis of chronic bacterial prostatitis and has clinical value.

The smoke of anti-infrared smoke agent in a self-made miniature smoke chamber was determined by using Forier transform infrared spectrometer. The smoke changing and settling regulation with time were obtained by measuring the IR spectra of smoke at different time dynamically. Through testing the smoke of different quantity of the same smoke agent, it was found that the relationship between the concentration of the main smoke products and the absorbance obeyed Lambert-Beer′s Law. Finally, the relationship between the smoke screening ability and reactant agent amounts was obtained by calculating the screening ability of different amounts of reactant agent in three “atmosphere windows”.

Objective To understand the prevalence of unsafe riding practice among electric bicycle riders, and to provide scientific basis for intervention strategies in Ma'anshan city of Anhui Province. Methods Observational method was used to observe electric bicycle riders' behavior of running red light, wearing a helmet, and manned act.The radar speed measuring instrument was used to measure the speed of electric bicycle. Results The rate of electric bicycle riders' running red light was 13.09% (1 285/9 815),helmet wearing rate was 5.90% (1 510/25 576),and manned rate was 20.28% (5 187/25 576).The average speed was 24 ki/h,and the electric bicycles whose speed were > 20 km/h accounted for 74.60%.There were significant differences in the running red light rate, helmet wearing rate and the average speed of travel among different time periods and dates (all P < 0.05).More running the red light occurred during 13:30-14:30 and 15:00-16:00.Less helmet wearing occurred during 10:00-11:00 and 08:30-09:30.The periods with highest average speed were at07:00-08:00,08:30-09:30,11:30-12:30,and 13:30-14:30,which was 24 km/h.The helmet wearing rate of females (6.54%) was higher than that of males(5.46%),the men's average speed (24 km/h) was higher than women's (23 ki/h),and the differences were both statistically significant(all P < 0.001).Conclusion The electric bicycle riders in Ma'anshan city of Anhui Province have the dangerous behavior of running red lights, not wearing a helmet, manned act and speeding.Targeted interventions should be taken to reduce the occurrence of related risk behaviors.

Object To explore the antitumor mechanism of Stellera chamaejasme Linn. (SC). Methods SC containing-serum (SCCS) was derived from mice pretreated with different doses of SC. Cultured human leukemia HL-60 and human gastric adenocarcinoma SGC-7901 cells were used. Inhibition of proliferation was measured using MTT assay. Morphological assessment of apoptosis was performed with fluorescence microscope. DNA fragmentation was assessed by agarose gel electrophoresis and flow cytometry. Expression of bcl-2 protein was measured with immunohistochemistry. Results Exposure of exponentially growing HL-60 cells to mice serum containing 10% SC (pretreated with SC 3, 6, and 12 g/kg) for 48 h resulted in growth inhibition in a dose-dependent manner. Typical morphological changes of apoptosis and DNA fragmentation in HL-60 cells were induced. "Apobodies" in the apoptotic cells were observed, "ladder" pattern of agarose gel electrophoresis of DNA from these cells was revealed, and the percentage of apoptotic cells with fractional DNA content increased from 11.7% to 57.4%. Treatment with SC containing serum decreased the percentage of SGC-7901 cells of bcl-2 protein positive expression from 78.3% to 32.9%. Conclusion SC could induce apoptosis of HL-60 cells and decrease the expression of bcl-2 protein of gastric adenocarcinoma SGC-7901 cells.
