Objective: To explore the impact of ticagrelor on platelet aggregation in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Methods: A total of 98 ACS patients received PCI in our hospital from 2015-01 to 2015-12 were enrolled. The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups: Clopidogrel group, the patients received oral clopidogrel 300mg at first time and then maintained by 75mg/qd, n=48 and Ticagrelor group, the patients received oral ticagrelor 180mg at first time and then maintained by 90mg/bid, n=50. All patients were treated for 12 months. The level of vasodilator stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) phosphorylation and platelet reactivity index (PRI) at pre-medication and 24h, 7 days and 1 month after PCI were detected; major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and bleeding events were recorded within 1 month after PCI, the incidence of platelet aggregation, MACE and bleeding events were compared between 2 groups. Results: The baseline information and PCI condition were similar between 2 groups, P>0.05. The overall average PRI was different between 2 groups, P<0.001 and PRI at each time point was different between 2 groups, P<0.001, different group and time point had interactive effect on PRI, P<0.001. Compared with Clopidogrel group, Ticagrelor group had the lower ratio of PRI≥50% at different time points after PCI, P<0.001. The incidence of MACE and bleeding event were similar between 2 groups within 1 month after PCI, P>0.05. Conclusion: Ticagrelor was superior toclopidogrel for anti-platelet aggregation in ACS patients after PCI, it didn't increase bleeding events.

Objective To investigate the effects of artesunate (Art) on cell apoptosis, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) expression induced by high glucose in rat renal tubular epithelial cells (NRK-52E). Methods NRK-52E cells were cultured and divided into normal control group, high glucose group, high glucose with different concen?trations of Art (10 mg/L, 20 mg/L and 30 mg/L) groups, and high glucose with Ena (5 mg/L) group. MTT assay was used to de?tect the cell proliferation. The apoptotic rate was evaluated by flow cytometry with AnnexinV-FITC/PI double stains. The pro?tein levels of TNF-αand IL-8 in the cell culture supernatant were determined using ELISA. Results High glucose inhibit?ed NRK-52E proliferation, induced its apoptosis, and the expressions of TNF-αand IL-8 in the supernatant. Application of Art obviously abolished the effects of high glucose, and the effects of Art were showed in dose-dependent manner. Conclu?sion Art can suppress high glucose-stimulated cell apoptosis, enhance TNF-αand IL-8 expression in NRK-52E cells. The anti-inflammatory action and immune regulation of Art could be a novel approach of treating diabetic nephropathy.

This article assessed the genetic relationship and genetic diversity in Dioscorea alata. Twenty samples were examined to identify their original plants, and analyzed by ISSR markers. The results showed that 20 samples were classified into three different plants, such as D. alata, D. persimilis, and D. fordii. There was significant difference in genetic similarity coefficient between D. alata and D. persimi as well as D. fordii. There was distinct differences in D. alata, the genetic similarity coefficient was resulted from 0.672 9 to 0.990 7. With UPGMA clustering method, 16 samples of D. alata could be divided into 4 groups. After comparing samples with the phenotypic characteristics of original plants, it showed that the color and the number of tuber were the most important characteristics of judging the genetic relationship of D. alata. It is concluded that the genetic variation of Dioscorea spp is significant, especially the genetic diversity in D. alata were in a high level. This article supplied a molecular biologic support for distinguishing Dioscorea spp, and also provided basis for breeding of D. alata.

Chinese Journal of Hematology 2002;23(3):151-152
OBJECTIVETo study the effectiveness of radiation synovectomy with (188)Re-sulfide.
METHODSTwenty rabbit models of joint synovitis were injected intra-articularly with different doses of (188)Re-sulfide from 7.4 to 37.0 MBq. By pathological examination, the effects of (188)Re-sulfide on synovium and cartilage were evaluated. Clinically, 10 joints of 7 cases of hemophilic arthritis with (188)Re-sulfide radiation synovectomy were performed. MRI was taken before and after the synovectomy to evaluate the treatment effects.
RESULTSIn rabbit models, when (188)Re-sulfide dose larger than 14.8 MBq, the radiation effect on synovitis was remarkable, including thinning the thickened synovium and reducing the inflammatory cells. When radio-activity dose increased to 37.0 MBq, pathological damage was noted in cartilage. Clinical trial demonstrated that radiation synovectomy by (188)Re-sulfide could reduce the frequencies of intra-articular hemorrhage. MRI showed that edema and villi reduced.
CONCLUSIONSRadiation synovectomy using (188)Re-sulfide is effective on synovitis in hemophilic arthritis.
