1.THE ARTERIAL ARCHITECTURE OF THE PALMAR PART OF THE HAND

The arteries of the palmar part of the hand were examined in 50 hands of adult under the operating microscope.The arteries of the hand are arranged at three main levels: the superficial palmar arteries, the deep palmar arteries and the dorsal network. The arterial anastomoses between the levels may be divided into 2 groups: the marginal and the central anastomoses, the former which is situated at the radial and ulnar borders of the palm can be subdivided into superficial and deep groups, the latter is located in the central part of the palm including the direct and indirect anastomostic branches, the proximal and distal perforating branches, and the intermetacarpal perforating branches. The deep arch and its branches, as the center in the total arterial architecture of the palmar part of the hand, closely links with the arteries of the superficial and dorsal ones, playing an important role in regulating the collateral circulation of the hand.The flow formula of the Poiseuille's law indicates that the significant correlation exists between the arterial diameter and the blood flow. For the variety of diameter of each portion of the anastomostic branches, we inferred that the main source of blood flow in the superficial arteries is the ulnar artery and in the deep is the radial artery. The blood within the marginal anastomoses flows from palmar to dorsal, the central mainly from the deep arch and its branches.The dominant parts of the collateral circulation of the hand were found, that is, the deep arch dominantes over the superficial arch and the dorsal network, the central anastomosis over the marginal, the deep branches of the marginal over the superficial branches.The arrangement of the digital arteries has been discussed.

3.Primary study on constructing evaluation system of physical evaluation by application of item teaching method for high occupation nursing students

Objective To study the teaching effect in physical evaluation by application of item teaching method for high occupation nursing students. Methods 249 high occupation nursing students of grade 2008 from four class were divided into the experimental group and the control group randomly. 123students of the control group were taught by traditional method, 126 students of the experimental group were taught by item teaching method, that is, listing teaching emphasis, examining item and standard for evaluation, preparing the lesson for students, teaching theory for teacher, teaching medical examination in groups,simulated training, testing item. The practical operation results and various capabilities were compared between two groups. Results The practical operation results and various capabilities of the experimental group was better than the control group. Conclusions Constructing evaluation system of physical evaluation by application of item teaching method is a beneficial attempt for high occupation nursing students. It improves the students' general ability and is beneficial to the justice and fair of teaching evaluation. So it is worth popularizing.
4.MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY OF VIMENTIN IN SYNOVIAL CELL IN VITRO

The pattern and distribution of vimentin intermediate filament in synovial cell in vitro were observed by means of immunohistochemistry,confocal scanning laser microscopy (CSLM) and three-di-mentional photograph reconstruction on adherent cell analysis and sorting (ACAS 570). The result showed that vimentin presented spongy stero-structure in whole cytoplasmic space. The reconstructed three-dimentional photograph was similar to the appearance of the cultured synovial cell. The relationship between the distribution of vimentin and the morphological change of cultured synovial cell in different growth period was discussed in this paper.
5.Clinical study on sequential treatment of newly diagnosed de novo acute myeloid leukemia patients with IA and low-dose HA combined with G-CSF regimens as remission induction therapy

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sequential treatment of newly diagnosed de novo acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients with IA and low-dose HA combined with G-CSF regimens as remission induction therapy.Methods Fifty-seven patients with AML were enrolled,which marrow biopsy was hypocellular or active proliferation on the third day from the end of the first course with IA regimen.32 cases of them received the second course with low-dose HA combined with G-CSF regimen,compared with other 25 cases received the second course with another IA regimen.Clinical manifestations,blood count,blood biochemical parameters and bone marrow smears were measured during the courses.Results In study group,21 of 32 cases reached CR,4 PR,and 11 of 20 cases reached CR,2 PR in control group.Overall remission rate (ORR) was higher in study group than that in control group (78.1% vs 52.0 %,P =0.038).Both median duration of agranulocytosis and median time for PLT to reach 50×109/L from the lowest were shorter in study group than those in control group (9.5 d vs 28.0 d,U=32.5,P< 0.001; 11 d vs 19 d,U=193.0,P=0.001).Component transfusion,not only RBC but PLT,decreased in study group,compared with control group (8 U vs 16 U,U =206.5,P =0.002; 20 U vs 60 U,U =149,P < 0.001).Median durable time of antibiotic intravenous injection was shorter in study group than that in control group (14 d vs 21 d,U=249.5,P=0.015).Visceral hemorrhage rate reduced in study group,compared with control group (x2 =3.90,P =0.048).Conclusion IA and low-dose HA combined with G-CSF regimens sequential treatment as remission induction therapy for newly diagnosed de novo AML patients is effective and well tolerated.
6.Determination of L-norvaline and L-tryptophan in dietary supplements by nano-LC using an O-2-(methacryloyloxy)-ethylcarbamoyl-10,11-dihydroquinidine-silica hybrid monolithic column

An analytical methodology based on an O-[2-(methacryloyloxy)-ethylcarbamoyl]-10,11-dihydroquinidine (MQD)-silica hybrid monolithic column was developed for the enantioseparation of 9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl (FMOC) derivatized amino acids by nano-liquid chromatography. The mo-bile phase was optimized including the apparent pH, content of ACN, and concentration of the buffer to obtain a satisfactory enantioresolution performance. 27 FMOC derivatized amino acids including 19 protein and 8 non-protein amino acids were tested, and 19 out of them were enantiomerically discriminated obtaining baseline separation for 11 of them. Analytical characteristics of the method were evaluated for norvaline and tryptophan in terms of linearity, precision, accuracy, limits of detection (LOD) and quantitation (LOQ) showing good performance to be applied to the enantiomeric determination of these amino acids in dietary supplements. LOD and LOQ values were 9.3 and 31μM for norvaline en-antiomers and 7.5 and 25μM for tryptophan enantiomers, respectively. The contents of D-norvaline and D-tryptophan were below their respective LODs in all the analyzed samples. Quantitation of L-tryptophan and L-norvaline showed good agreement with the labeled contents except for one sample which did not show presence of L-norvaline, contrary to the label indication.
7.Simultaneous determination of amino acids in different teas using supercritical fluid chromatography coupled with single quadrupole mass spectrometry

Tea is a widely consumed beverage and has many important physiological properties and potential health benefits. In this study, a novel method based on supercritical fluid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (SFC-MS) was developed to simultaneously determine 11 amino acids in different types of tea (green teas, Oolong tea, black tea and Pu-erh tea). The separation conditions for the analysis of the selected amino acids including the column type, temperature and backpressure as well as the type of additive, were carefully optimized. The best separation of the 11 amino acids was obtained by adding water (5%, v/v) and trifluoroacetic acid (0.4%, v/v) to the organic modifier (methanol). Finally, the developed SFC-MS method was fully validated and successfully applied to the determination of these amino acids in six different tea samples. Good linearity (r ! 0.993), precision (RSDs 2.99%), accuracy (91.95%e107.09%) as well as good sample stability were observed. The limits of detection ranged from 1.42 to 14.69 ng/mL, while the limits of quantification were between 4.53 and 47.0 ng/mL. The results indicate that the contents of the 11 amino acids in the six different tea samples are greatly influenced by the degree of fermentation. The proposed SFC-MS method shows a great potential for further investi-gation of tea varieties.
8.Influence of bear bile on rat hepatocarcinoma induced by diethylnitrosamine.

To investigate the influence of bear bile on rat hepatocarcinoma induced by diethylnitrosamine (DEN), a total of 40 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control group, model group, and two bear bile treatment groups. The rat liver cancer model was induced by breeding with water containing 100 mg x L(-1) DEN for 14 weeks. The rats of the bear bile groups received bear bile powder (200 or 400 mg x kg(-1)) orally 5 times per week for 18 weeks. The general condition and the body weight of rats were examined every day. After 18 weeks the activities of serum alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST) and total bilirubin (TBIL) were detected. Meanwhile, the pathological changes of liver tissues were observed after H&E staining. The expression of proliferative cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and a-smooth muscle actin (alpha-SMA) in liver tissue were detected by immunohistochemical method. After 4 weeks the body weights of rats in normal group were significantly more than that in other groups (P < 0.05); and that in the two bile groups was significantly more than that in the model group. Compared with normal group, the level of serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase and total bilirubin increased significantly in other groups; compared with model group, these two indexes decreased significantly in two bile groups. Hepatocellular carcinoma occurred in all rats except for normal group; there were classic cirrhosis and cancer in model group while there were mild cirrhosis and high differentiation in two bile groups. There were almost no expressions of PCNA and alpha-SMA in normal group while there were high expressions in model group; the two bile groups had some expressions but were inferior to the model group, and alpha-SMA reduced markedly. It indicated that bear bile restrained the development of liver cancer during DEN inducing rat hepatocarcinoma, which may be related to its depressing hepatic stellate cell activation and relieving hepatic lesion and cirrhosis.
9.Rapid fabrication of zwitterionic sulfobetaine vinylimidazole-based monoliths via photoinitiated copolymerization for hydrophilic interaction chromatography

Zwitterionic sulfobetaine-based monolithic stationary phases have attracted increasing attention for their use in hydrophilic interaction chromatography.In this study,a novel hydrophilic polymeric monolith was fabricated through photo-initiated copolymerization of 3-(3-vinyl-1-imidazolio)-l-propanesulfonate(SBVI)with pentaerythritol triacrylate using methanol and tetrahydrofuran as the porogenic system.Notably,the duration for the preparation of this novel monolith was as little as 5 min,which was significantly shorter than that required for previously reported sulfobetaine-based monoliths prepared via conventional thermally initiated copolymerization.Moreover,these monoliths showed good morphology,permeability,porosity(62.4%),mechanical strength(over 15 MPa),column efficiency(51,230 plates/m),and reproducibility(relative standard deviations for all analytes were lower than 4.6%).Mechanistic studies indicated that strong hydrophilic and negative electrostatic interactions might be responsible for the retention of polar analytes on the zwitterionic SBVI-based monolith.In particular,the resulting monolith exhibited good anti-protein adhesion ability and low nonspecific protein adsorption.These excellent features seem to favor its application in bioanalysis.Therefore,the novel zwitterionic sulfobetaine-based monolith was successfully employed for the highly selective separation of small bioactive compounds and the efficient enrichment of N-glycopeptides from complex samples.In this study,we prepared a novel zwitterionic sulfobetaine-based monolith with good performance and developed a simpler and faster method for preparation of zwitterionic monoliths.
10.Effect of short-term environmental ozone exposure on hospitalization of ischemic stroke:a time series analysis of Wuhan, China

Objective To investigate the effect of short-term environmental ozone (O3) exposure on hospitalization risk of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and its subtypes.Methods From January 1,2016 to December 31,2017,the hospitalization data of patients with AIS from Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University,air pollutant data published by China Air Quality Online Monitoring and Analysis Plafform,and the meteorological data published by China Meteorological Data Network were collectcd.According to TOAST etiological classification criteria,the patients with AIS were divided into large-artery atherosclerosis (LAA),small-artery occlusion (SVO),cardioembolism (CE),and stroke of other etiology (SOE).The effect of short-term O3 exposure on the hospitalization risk of AIS and its subtypes was analyzed retrospectively using a distributed lag non-linear model of time series analysis.Results A total of 1 413 patients with AIS were enrolled,including 910 males (64.4%),aged 67.7± 12.8 years (range,18-99 years).Short-term O3 exposure increased the overall hospitalization risk of AIS [relative risk (RR) 1.06,95% confidence interval (CI) 0.99-1.13],mainly caused by increased hospitalization risks of LAA (RR 1.17,95% CI 1.02-1.34;lag 5 d) and SVO (RR 1.24,95% CI 1.06-1.45;lag 3 d).After introducing double pollutant (O3 + other pollutants) model its RR did not have significant changes.A stratified analysis based on demographic characteristics and vascular risk factors showed that the different populations had different sensitivities to the acute hazard effects of O3.Conclusion Short-term exposure to O3 could significantly increase the hospitalization risks of LAA and SVO.
