Objective To investigate the reversal effect and the mechanism of sodium norcantharidate(SNCTD)on human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549/DDP. Methods CKK assay was used to screen out non-toxic concentration (less than 10 percent of cell inhibition ratio) of SNCTD, and to measure the IC50 of cisplatin and IC50 of innoxious concentration SNCTD plus cisplatin in drug-resistant cell line. The accumulation effect of Rh123 was assayed by flow cytometry after treatment with non-toxic concentration of SNCTD. PT-PCR was used to detect the expression of mdr1, MRP1 gene for the drug-resistant cell line treated with non-toxic concentration of SNCTD for 48h. Results (1)The non-toxic concentration of SNCTD was 5μg/ml. SNCTD could decrease drug resistance to cisplatin. The reversal fold was 1.97. (2)The fluorescence intensity of Rh123 in the cells treated with 5μg/ml SNCTD was obviously increased (F=36.99, P＜0.05). (3)The expressions of mdr1, MRP1 gene decreased significantly in a concentration-dependent manner.Conclusions SNCTD could reverse the resistance to cisplatin in A549/DDP cell line. It possibly downregulates the expression of mdr1, MRP1 gene, and inhibits the function of efflux pump of membrance protein.

Objective To improve the knowledge of X-ray findings of heart and lung in chronic renal failure ( CRF ) . Methods X-ray findings of heart and lung in 120 cases with CRF were analysed retrospectively.Results The X-ray appearances of lung and heart in CRF included augment and blur of hilum, increased, tortuous and disorder lung markings, accretion of heart, and the abnormal shadows in lung were irregular, inhomogeneus and changing fast in morphology. Conclusion Radiography can supply valuable messages and is ofconsiderable value in the diagnosis of CRF.

Objective　To investigate the differentiation of HL-60 cells induced by different doses of Purerarin（PR） comparing with all-trans retinoic acid（ATRA）and to see if PR can induce apoptosis of HL-60 cells. Methods　Cell differentiation was analyzed by NBT reduction, the ratio of NBT/MTT and CD11b ,apoptosis by morphology, DNA electrophoresis, and flow cytometry（FCM）. Results　80 μg.ml-1, 160 μg.ml-1, 320 μg.ml-1 PR could induce differentiation of HL-60 cells, no significant difference was observed between the cells treated with 1 μmol.L-1 ATRA and 320 μg.ml-1 PR. Treated with 320 μg.ml-1, 640 μg.ml-1PR, HL-60 cells exhibited a morphological characteristic of apoptosis and typical DNA ladder on gel electrophoresis. FCM analysis showed that PR could interfere with cell cycle in HL-60 cells, with a increased ratio of sub-G1 in HL-60 cells. Conclusion　PR exerts effect on differentiation and induces apoptosis in HL-60 cells.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the curative effects of nanometer silver dressing and recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel on burn residual wounds.METHODS: Forty burn patients with residual wounds because of deep second degree burn and full-thickness burn, were randomly divided into control group and management group. There were 20 patients in both groups. The patients of management group were treated by nanometer silver dressing and recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel. The patients of control group were treated by saline and paraffin absorbent gauze. Healing time, wound healing rates at different time points,cases of infected wound and results of bacterial culture before and 7 days following treatment, and drug adverse reaction were recorded.RESULTS: The healing time of management group was significantly shorter than the control group (P < 0.01). The wound healing rates of management group was significantly higher than the control group at different time points (P< 0.01). The cases of infected wound was significantly fewer than the control group after treating (P < 0.01). The pathogenic bacteria detection rate was significantly lower than the control group after 7 days (P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: There was better antibacterial activity, decurtating the healing time when the management of nanometer silver dressing and recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel on burn residual wounds were put into practice.

Objective To describe the vaccine inoculation rate of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and the movement characteristics of rural population in the Xi'an epidemic area.Methods This was a cross-sectional study.The study covered all the four HFRS traditional high incidence areas (counties):Zhouzhi,Huxian,Chang'an and Lintong.Three villages were selected in each county and 20 households were selected in each village in 2013.Participants included all the persons of these families.People 16-60 years old were interviewed face to face about their sociodemographic and environmental information,and at the same time related HFRS vaccine history and characters of migrant workers were collected.Results Nine hundred and ninety-six persons were investigated,69.3 percent (690/996) were vaccinate-age population.Of all,49.0 percent (338/690) had HFRS vaccine history and 53.9 percent (372/690) had worked away from home most of the year.The inoculation proportion of workers which worked in their own counties (56.8％,67/118) were higher than that of workers worked outside (37.0％,60/162;39.1％,36/92,x2 =10.74,6.44,all P ＜ 0.017).In the workers that went back home every week,60.3 percent (76/126) had vaccinated.Workers that went back home once a year had the lowest proportion of inoculation (16.7％,7/42).The morbidity of HFRS decreased significantly accompany with ascend of inoculation rate (Y =-0.524X + 38.319,t =-4.581,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions After the free vaccinations,there is still a gap between the vaccine inoculation rate and prevention benefit.The current vaccination strategies need to be adjusted.

Objective To investigate the treatment of the complications of puncture lapsus after the percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) for osteoporotic fractures.Methods From December 2011 to November 2014,3 female patients with postoperative complications of PVP which were treated for osteoporotic fractures,aged from 71 to 82 years (average,78 years old) were involved.Each of them performed a revision surgery in our hospital.One of them was performed with PVP of the 12th thoracic vertebral due to the osteoporotic thoracic vertebral compression fracture.However,bone cement was leaked into spinal canal after PVP,and the patient suffered from left abdominal constriction and impaired of sensation in left inguinal region.She underwent anterior approach of decompression,cement removal and internal fixation one year after the first operation.The second case was performed with PVP of the 1st lumbar vertebral due to the osteoporotic lumbar vertebral compression fracture.In this case,bone cement was leaked into spinal canal after PVP,and the patient suffered from abdominal and lower extremity pain,paralysis,and hypoesthesia of lower limbs.This patient was treated with posterior approach of decompression,cement removal and internal fixation.The third case was performed with the 12th thoracic vertebral PVP due to the osteoporotic thoracic vertebral compression fracture.Subdural hemorrhage happened after PVP,and the patient suffered from paralysis and sensory loss of the two lower limbs.This patient was treated with posterior approach of laminotomy,hemostasis in the spinal canal and evacuation of hematoma.We performed a follow up from 21 to 29 months (average,24.7 months),to observe the recovery of the patients.Results one case' s abdominal constriction eliminated and the inguinal region pain improved after the revision surgery,and there's no internal fixation loosening with the follow-up of 21 months.The other case's abdominal and lower limb pain relieved,the lower limb muscle strength recovered to grade 4,and the tactile of lower limb recovered to normal after the revision surgery.There' s no internal fixation loosening with the follow-up of 29 months.One case of patients with slightly recovered of lower extremity muscle strength and feeling after surgery,and remained lower limb pain,died two years after the surgery.Conclusion Complications of spinal cord compression after percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) for osteoporotic fractures can get good outcomes by using appropriate revision surgeries,although revision surgery is difficult and risky.

This study is to investigate the influence and mechanism of action of asymmetrical dimethylarginine (ADMA) and the induced oxidative stress level on Alzheimer's disease (AD) incidence. ADMA concentration, nitric oxide, Abeta(40)/Abeta(42) ratio, inducible NO synthase (iNOS) activity and the concentrations of the induced free radicals including malondialdehyde (MDA), 3-nitrotyrosine (3-NT) and peroxynitrite (ONOO-) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from 34 neurologically normal controls and 37 AD patients were quantitatively determined and statistically compared. The results showed that the ADMA concentration significantly decreased in AD patients, and it showed negative correlation with the NO, iNOS activity, and showed positive correlation with MMSE score. ADMA concentration was negatively correlated with Abeta(40)/Abeta(42) ratio (P<0.01) with the observation that Abeta(40)/Abeta(42) ratio increased while ADMA level decreased in CSF in AD patients. The concentration levels of MDA, 3-NT and ROS significantly increased compared with the control with all the P values less than 0.05. These findings suggested that the ADMA disorder and the oxidative damage effect of the induced free radicals in CSF of AD patients are an important mechanism of AD incidence, and their joint regulation may provide new idea for the prevention and clinical treatment of AD.
