p53,the widely studied tumor suppressor gene ,plays a key role in regulating cell cycle ,repai-ring DNA damages , eliminating free radicals and regulating immune responses and so on .The recent studies showed that p53 mutation was in close biological connections with the occurrence , development , infiltration and metastasis in over 50 percent digestive systemic malignant tumors .In view of the current researches ,we review the biological features of p53,the relationship between p53 and digestive systemic malignant tumors ,and gene therapy of p53 to provide references for the pathogenesis ,diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of digestive systemic malig-nant tumors in this paper .

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(9):935-937
Professor WU Lianzhong's experience of neck acupoints application is introduced. The characteristics, locations, acupuncture manipulations ,efficiency and main functions of neck acupoints including Tiandixue (Extra), Jingbixue (Extra), and cervical Jiaji (EX-B 2) are stated. According to the TCM thought of treatment based on syndrome differentiation,WU Lianzhong's special theory of neck acupoints application is explained so as to provide experience for improving acupuncture effects.

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the prevalence of abnormal glucose regulation (AGR) in patients with coronary artery dis-ease (CAD) in the department of cardiology of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital. Methods Sixty seven patients with CAD in the department of cardiology of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital were consecutively recruited from Jun 1, 2005 to Aug 31, 2005. Patients were asked to perform oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) to characterize the glucose regulation status except for those with previously known diabetes mellitus (DM). Results Most of patients with CAD in the study had abnormal glucose regulation. The prevalence of AGR was 88.1%. The prevalence of DM and IGT were 56.7% and 31.3%, respectively. Without OGTT, 42.5% DM and 48% IGR and 85% AGR would remain undiagnosed by fasting plasma glucose (FPG) detection alone. Conclusion A majori-ty of patients with CAD in the study have AGR and OGTT is needed to promptly and accurately disclose these patients.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the effect of c-fos antisense oligonucleotide on the phenotypes of vascular smooth muscle cells in venous autograftt. Methods The external jugular veins were grafted into abdominal aortic arteries in 20 Wistar rats which were divided into test group and control group randomly. The anastomosis and transplanted veins were coated with c-fos antisense oligonucleotide glue gel in the test group while the control group were merely coated with glue gel. The autografted veins were removed and measured by means of pathology and immunohistochemistry two weeks later. Meanwhile the conversion status of the vascular smooth muscle cells were observed with electron microscope. Results The myo-endothelial structure was observed clearly in test group while it was obscure in control group; the expression of c-fos、c-myc、PCNA in vascular smooth muscle cells was significantly decreased in test group. Conclusions The c-fos antisense oligonucleotide can influence the phenotypes of the vascular smooth muscle cells in autografted veins and inhibit the cells’ proliferation. All these indicate that it is a prospective genetic prophylactic therapy for the restenosis of autografted veins.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(10):1329-1330
Objective Patients with Alzheimer dementia often display poor sleep. Given that the disease is often associated with low endogenous levels of melatonin, exogenous melatonin administration may lead to improvements in sleep. Methods Randomized, placebo controlled study was carried out in 41 patients with probable Alzheimer disease. Melatonin (8. 5 mg immediate release and 1. 5 mg sustained release) (n =24) or placebo (n = 17) administered at 22:00 P. M. for 10 consecutive nights. The protocol sleep was measured continuously using actigraphy. Results There were no significant effects of melatonin, compared with placebo,on sleep and circadian rhythms. Conclusion This study failed to find a beneficial effect of exogenous melatonin.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(4):558-559
Objective To investigate the effect of nursing interventions on the quality of life after radiotherapy in nasopharyngeal cancer. Methods 56 patients with nasopharyngeal cancer who received radiotherapy were randomly divided into control group and intervention group. All the patients were given conventional nursing interventions, and those in the intervention group were given accurate evaluation, enhanced psychological guide, reasonable dietary guide, and special nursing for preventing and treating complications. All the patients were evaluated by using quality of life questionnaire core 30 items(QOL-C30). Results The scores of the dimensions of somatic function, psychological function, social function and material life after interventions in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05 ). Conclusion Nursing interventions can improve the quality of life, and the therapy can be completed smoothly.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(3):241-242
Objective Observe the effect of using ginseng and astragalus arbran decoction with western medicine on type-2 diabetes. Method Divide fifty type-2 diabetes sufferers into control group and treatment group randomly.Sufferers from control group take diformin tablets and acarbose orally; Those from treatment group take ginseng and astragalus arbran decoction additionally on that basis for eight weeks continuously.Compare the changes of blood sugar of the two groups before and after the treatments in the situation of limosis and two hours after dinner. Results control group and treatment group each has a total effective rate of 72% and 98% respectively, significant difference exists (P<0.05). Conclusion Using ginseng and astragalus arbran decoction with western medicine has a better effect on controlling blood sugar.

Chinese Journal of Hypertension 2007;0(03):-
Background Essential hypertension (EH) and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) are frequently co- existed.Previous studies proved that EH can cause arrythmia, whereas, the arrythmia and the structure changed in hypertensive patients coexisted with T2DM are scarely reported. Objective To study the characteristics and mech- anism of arrhythmia in essential hypertension (EH) patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Methods One hundred sixty eight patients were groupped as follows:EH group (n=65),T2DM group (n=31),EH+T2DM group (n=52),and normal group (n=20).The clinical data, echocardiographies and 24-hour dynamic eletroear- diogram were determined in all patients. Results 1)Arrhythmia incidence in EH+T2DM group was a statistically higher compared to EH group and T2DM group(P

Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2012;06(3):162-165
Objective To investigate the expression of breast cancer specific gene 1( BCSG1) in breast cancer tissues and its clinical significance. Methods The expression of BCSG1in 51cases of breast cancer tissues and 35 cases of adjacent tissues was determined by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR) and immunohistochenistry. Results FQ-PCR showed the expression level of BCSG1mRNA in breast cancer and adjacent tissues was 1.072 ± 0.178 and 0.324± 0.135 respectively.Immunohistochemistry showed the expression rate of BCSG1protein in breast cancer and adjacent tissues was 74.5% (38/51) and 14.3% (5/35).The expression of BCSG1mRNA and protein was dramatically increased in breast cancer tissues compared with that in normal background breast tissues (P < 0.05).BCSG1mRNA and protein expression was significantly different in patients with lymph node metastasis and higher Nottingham prognostic index (P < 0.05 ),and there was no significant difference with the pathological type of breast cancer,or status of ER,PR,and c-erbB2 ( P > 0.05 ).Conclusions BCSG1is highly expressed in breast cancer tissues, which is closely related to the development and clinical prognosis of breast cancer.BCSG1is very likely to play an important role in the pathogenesis of breast cancer.
