1.Progress in the study of peculiar enzymes of antarctic microorganisms
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(04):-
Increased research and exploitation of the low-temperature enzymes of antarctic microorganisms have occurred over recent years. There are a lot of study on protease, lipase and amylase, and so on. In antarctic microorganisms while some peculiar enzymes of antarctic microorganisms are still less researched. The recent development of the peculiar enzymes of the antarctic microorganisms was reviewed in this article. The properties of chitinase, dehydrogenas,?-galactosidase,RNA polymerase,DEAD-box RNA Helicase and metalloprotease etc. were introduced in detail, and the prospects of their application were also discussed.
2.Clinical Study on MicroinvasiveThread Embedding plusShe Gan Ma HuangDecoction for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;35(8):913-915
ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of microinvasive thread embedding plusShe Gan Ma Huangdecoction based on ordinary Western medications in treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (cold-phlegm obstructing the lung). MethodThe treatment group was intervened by microinvasive thread embedding plusShe Gan Ma Huangdecoction based on ordinary Western medications, while the control group was by the Western medications alone.ResultThe markedly effective rate and total effective rate were respectively 10.0% and 93.3% in the treatment group;the pulmonary function showed significant improvements in both groups.ConclusionMicroinvasive thread embedding plusShe Gan Ma Huangdecoction based on Western medications can produce a more significant therapeutic efficacy than dry Western medicationsin treating COPD (cold-phlegm obstructing the lung) in acute attack stage, and it can simultaneously improve the pulmonary function.

International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(9):704-706,707
Hypomelanosis of Ito is a multisystem neurocutaneous syndrome. The pathogenesis hasn′t been clear and typical cutaneous lesions are associated with variable extracutaneous abnormalities involved the central nervous system and musculoskeletal system. Its clinical manifestations include abnormal skin biopsy and chromosomal patterns and brain iconography. The treatments have to be adapted to the individual and prognosis depends on the severity of clinical manifestations and complications.
4.Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis with Peripheral Neuropathy by Therapy of Nourishing Liver and Activating Blood
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2004;0(06):-
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of therapy of nourishing liver and activating blood for the treatment of multiple sclerosis(MS) with peripheral neuropathy(PN).Methods Twenty-six MS with PN patients admitted in out-patients department were enrolled into the study. The patients were given herbal medicine with the actions of nourishing liver and activating blood on the basis of routine western medicine. The relief of symptoms and signs of PN,score of nervous function evaluated by Expanded Disability Status Scale(EDSS),electromyogram(EMG) were examined before treatment and one year after treatment. Results One year after treatment, symptoms and signs of PN were relieved,EDSS score was decreased, the latency of motor nerve and sensory nerve was shortened and conduction velocity was increased, and incidence of wave F was increased and its latency was shortened(P
5.Biomarkers of bladder cancer
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(12):-
Bladder cancer is a common tumor with a high rate of recurrence and quick progression. Many biomarkers for the detection of bladder cancer have been identified, but none has been reported to date to have sufficient sensitivity and specificity.Recent researches are concentrated on p53,Rb,Cyclin D,P27kip-1,FGFR3,Cadherin,Survivin,Aurora,MMP,VEGF and DNA Methylation. In spite of their different sensitivities for bladder cancer of different stages or degrees, these biomarkers are valuable for its diagnosis and prognosis.
7.Research of double-cranny eccentric photorefraction device
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
In order to improve the performance of the photorefraction device, shorten the detection time and improve the accuracy of measuring, the theory of a new kind of double-cranny eccentric photorefraction device is described. Some features and key point of technology are emphatically pointed out.A method is put forward to determine the ocular diopter by image processing.
8.Blood Samples with HBsAg and HBsAb Both Positive:An Analysis
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2005;0(11):-
OBJECTIVE To study the phenomenon of hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg) and antibody(HBsAb) both positive in blood samples.METHODS Using electro-chemo-luminescence immune system E170 to detect HBsAg and HBsAb in clinical samples and retest the both positive cases by another two reagents for HBsAg and another three reagents for HBsAb.RESULTS All 7332 samples showed 140 both HBsAg and HBsAb positive(1.9%) and 73 of them were retested for HBsAb by another three reagents which gave altogether 24 positive results, which was not related to each other. Those gave higher HBsAb value by E170 showed higher positive rate by Abbott reagent.CONCLUSIONS HBsAg and HBsAb both positive results are not rare.It may be due to the interactions between the patient and the infected hepatitis B virus.Besides, the quality of reagents and correct lab operating procedures may also affect the test results.
9.Effect of Male Trichinella spiralis to Female Fertility
Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(01):-
Objective To study the life span of Trichinella spiralis male adult and its effect on female fertility. Methods 22 Kunming mice were divided into three groups.Group A was orally inoculated by encysted larvae, dissected at day 5,10,20,and 30 post infection, adult worms were then collected and counted.Group B was fed with 5-day adults(70 females + 30 males/mouse).Group C was fed with 5-day females(70/mouse) only.Groups B and C were sacrificed 30 days post inoculation, larvae were collected to calculate reproductive capacity index(RCI).Male worms of day 5,10,20 and 30 were fixed in glutaraldehyde for scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Results 20 days after infection, there were more males than females in the intestines of group A mice(female :male =1 :1.3),but much more males than females on the 30th day after infection(female :male =1 :8.5).Mice of groups B and C were infected by 5-day adults successfully with a RCI of 154.90?2.62 and 13.77?1.67 respectively(t=111.26,P
10.Research progress of effects of neurotrophic factors in the repair of spinal cord injury
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2010;33(5):309-312
Spinal cord injury(SCI) is a serious nervous system trauma, which may consequently lead to various degrees of paralysis and toilet obstacles, and its disability and the high cost heavily burdened the families and community. Therefore, the research on spinal cord tissue regeneration and the repair after injury has important practical significance.A large number of experimental studies have shown that neurotrophic factor plays an important role in the nerve tissue repair process. This article reviews new research progress about the effects of neurotrophic factor in this field.
