1.Advance of Study on the MTBE Degradation by Microbes

The contamination of groundwater by methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE) has become widespread.As a result,the bioremediation of MTBE is becoming an active area of research.In this paper,the progress of the studies on the degradation of MTBE by microbes was reviewed,focusing on the aerobic strains that could degrade MTBE.The possible metabolic pathways of MTBE were discussed as two main pathways separated by tert-butyl alcohol(TBA).The effect of environment factors,coexisting pollutants,and inter metabolite on the MTBE degradation were also discussed.
2. Correlation between IGF2R polymorphism and genetic susceptibility to colorectal cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma

Objective: To investigate the possible association between codon 2020 polymorphism(Asn2020Ser) of IGF2R gene and the susceptibility to colorectal cancer(CRC) and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) in Chinese population. Methods: The IGF2R Asn2020Ser genotypes were determined by TaqMan assay in 345 CRC cases and 670 controls, and in 469 HCC cases and 558 controls. Odds ratios(OR) for cancer and 95% confidence intervals(CI) from unconditional logistic regression models were used to evaluate relative risks. Potential risk factors were included in the logistic regression models as covariates in the multivariate analyses on genotype and cancer risk. Results: The Ser allele of the IGF2R Asn2020Ser polymorphism was significantly associated with decreased risks of CRC and HCC. As compared with Asn/Asn genotype, Asn/Ser,Ser/Ser and Ser-allele carriers (Asn/Ser or Ser/Ser genotype) had significantly decreased risks of CRC, with the decrease being 0.71-fold (95% CI = 0.54-0.94, P = 0.017), 0.64-fold(95% CI = 0.42-0.97, P = 0.036) and 0.69-fold(95% CI = 0.53-0.90, P = 0.008), respectively. A similar decreased HCC risk was also shown, with the decrease being 0.68-fold(95% CI = 0.52-0.89, P = 0.005) for Asn/Ser genotype, 0.78-fold(95% CI = 0.52-1.16, P = 0.212) for Ser/Ser genotype, and 0.70-fold(95% CI = 0.54-0.90, P = 0.006) for Ser-allele carriers, when compared with Asn/Asn genotype. Conclusion: The Ser allele of the IGF2R Asn2020Ser polymorphism is potentially one of the protective factors against CRC and HCC in Chinese population.

6.Interpersonal Interaction of Junior High School Students and its Relationship with Self-Consciousness

Objective: To study the interpersonal interaction of junior high school students and its relationship with self-consciousness. Methods: 265 junior high school students were given the measurement of interpersonal relationship, and administered the questionnaire of Piers-Harris children self-consciousness one week later. Results: ①The interpersonal relationship of junior high school students was interactive. ②There were statistically significant differences among some dimensions of self-consciousness of junior high school students of different grades and genders. ③Intellgence and school performance had important effect on personal acceptance of junior high school students. Conclusion: There is interpersonal interaction among junior high school students, and intelligence and school performance influence the personal acceptance significantly.
7.The application of vertical easy ball attachment system in removable partial dentures

objective: To observe the effectiveness of vertical easy ball attachments (VEBA) in removable partial denture with metal base. Methods: Removable partial denture was retained with one or two sets of VEBA attached to full metal crown or porcelain fused to metal crown in 12 patients and 6~24 month clinical follow up was carried out. Results: All removable partial dentures retained with VEBA had good retention, stabilization, function and esthetic outcome, all the patients were greatly satisfied. Conclusion: VEBA has strong retentive force and protects abutments, it is a promising retainer in removable partial denture.
8.Clinical study of sufentanil and ropivacaine used in labor combined spinal-epidural analgesia

Objecttve To investigate the effects of snfentanil and ropivacaine used in labor combined spinalepidural analgesia(CSEA)and its influence on labor course and infants and its side effects.Methods 160 primiparas who chose deliver analgesia were randomly divided into two groups:group A intrathecal 5μg sufentanil plus saline up to 2.5ml,extradural 0.2μg/ml sufentanll plus 0.1% ropivacaine and saline up to 100 ml;group B extradural ropivacaine 1.5mg plus glucose 100g/L up to 2ml;group C have no analgesia.Then to investigate the effects of analgesia VAS scores,labor course duration,caesarean section rate,flooding volume,neonatal Apgar scores and its side effects.Results Compared with group C,the analgesia effects of group A and B were definitely(P<0.05,P<0.01);visual analogue score(VAS)at 5min,10min and 30min in group A were(3.4±1.2),(1.6 ±0.7)and(0.7 ±0.5)respectively,while in group B were(5.3±1.5),(4.3±1.8)and(3.1±1.7),which had significant difference in two groups(all P<0.01);they all could reduce the first labor course duration,caesarean section rate,and there were no difference with group C(P>0.05);and the flooding volume and neonatal Apgar scores had no differences(P>0.05).Conclusion Sufentanil and ropivacaine combined used in CSEA has stronger effect and longer duration without prolonged labor coulee and poor side effects,which would be a more perfect analgesia worth clinical application in obstetrics.
9.The application of the endovascular distal parent artery occlusion in vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms involving the posterior inferior cerebellar artery

Objective To investigate the application of endovascular distal parent artery occlusion in vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms involving the posterior inferior cerebellar artery.Methods The clinical and follow-up data of 5 patients with vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms involving the posterior inferior cerebellar artery who received the endovascular distal parent artery occlusion were retrospectively analyzed.Results Complete occlusion of dissected arterial and aneurysm segments was achieved in 4 patients.After followed up 6-12 months,angiography showed no recurrence or neurological deficit.Continued filling of the dissected aneurysm was observed in 1 patient's follow-up angiography,but without rehaemorrhagia or neurological deficit.Conclusions The endovascular distal parent artery occlusion is a safe and efficient choice for treating vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms involving the posterior inferior cerebellar artery,which keeps the posterior inferior cerebellar artery flowing unobstructed while clipping the dissecting aneurysm.
10.Application of Two-dimensional 1H-31P Inverse NMR Pulse Sequence in Detection of Organophosphorus Chemical Warfare Agents and Related Compounds

Combined pulsed-field gradient, shaped pulses, and product operator calculations (algorithm), two-dimensional 1 H-31 P hetero-nuclear multiple quantum coherence ( HMQC) pulse sequence was established with the aid of C language. The result showed that coherent transfer path selection could be achieved by adjusting the ratio of two gradient strength ( g1 , g2 ) . The best ratio of g1 and g2 was -5:4 . The HMQC method based on the above sequence can be used for identifying the alkyl groups coupling with phosphorous nucleus. For the different alkyl groups, the sensitivity of this method decreased in the order methyl>isopropyl>ethyl>propyl. The limit of detection was about 10 mg/L. This method can be directly used for the screening and identification of phosphorus chemical warfare agents and related compounds.
