Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2012;18(3):226-229
Objective To investigate effects of 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine(5-Aza-dC)and trichostatin A(TSA)on the methylation and expression of TFPI-2 gene in pancreatic cancer Panc-1 cells. Methods We treated pancreatic cancer Panc-1 cells with 5-Aza-dC and TSA alone or combined.TFPI 2 gene's DNA,mRNA and protein were determined by MSP,RT-PCR and Western blot. Results The hypermethylation of TFPI-2 gene in Panc-1 cells was reversed after treated with 5 Aza-dC alone or in combination with TSA.The re-introduction or raised expression of TFPI-2 mRNA and protein was detected in Panc-1 cells after treated with 5 Aza dC alone or in combination. However,we did not see the hypermethylation of TFPI 2 gene reversed nor detected TFPI 2 gene mRNA and protein after treated with TSA alone. Conclusions The methylation of the promoter region for the TFPI-2 gene is a main cause for its transcriptional activation in Panc-1 cells. The hypermethylation of TFPI-2 gene in Panc-1 cell was reversed and the expression of TFPI-2 gene mRNA and protein was detected after trea ted with 5-Aza-dC alone or in combination with TSA.Treatment of TSA alone does not have significant effect on TFPI-2 gene reexpression.
2.Artificial total hip arthroplasty for proximal femur tumors:clinical efficacy and security
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(26):4115-4119
BACKGROUND:With elevated medical levels, limb salvage surgery for limb malignant tumor is valuable day by day. At present, the limb salvage surgery has substituted amputation and becomes mainstream and development direction of present surgical treatment of limb tumors. However, so far, there are no unified surgical indications for proximal femur tumor, which are controversial. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of artificial total hip arthroplasty combined with extended resection of tumor sections for proximal femoral bone tumors. METHODS:Patients with proximal femoral bone tumors in the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University were selected and divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. According to the disease, lesion curettage, aneurysm wal inactivation, autologous and (or) al ogeneic bone, mixed bone graft and bone graft fixation were selected to treat the control group. The observation group patients received extended resection of tumor sections and total hip arthroplasty. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay and joint function of two groups were compared. 2 years later, patients were revisited. Metastasis and recurrence rate, death rate and quality of life of two groups were compared. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss and surgery time between the two groups (P>0.05). However, hospital stay of patients in the observation group was shorter than the control group. The excellent and good rate of recovery of joint function (83%) was higher in the observation group than in the control group (53%). The metastasis and recurrence rate within 2 years after surgery (7%) and death rate (3%) were lower in the observation group than in the control group (30%, 23%). Various indicators of quality of life of patients in the observation group were significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). These results confirmed that artificial total hip arthroplasty in the treatment of proximal femur tumors is safe and effective.
3.Role of mast cells in kidney disease:A review
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(4):437-440
Mast cells and monocyte-macrophage cells share similar phenotypic characteristics. In recent years, it has been found that mast cell plays a role in the many pathophysiological processes such as the chronic inflammation, angiogenesis, and tissue remodeling and progressive fibrosis.More and more evidences showed that mast cells played a catalytic role in the renal chronic inflam-mation and progressive fibrosis and were related to the development and prognosis in patients with chronic kidney disease( CKD) .This paper will review the pathogenesis of renal injury induced by mast cells, especially in promoting the renal fibrosis in order to provide some new ideas for treatment and prognosis evaluation of CKD patients.
4.A Sociological Analysis of Plagues based on Habermas' Living-World Theories——Taking the Harbin murrain in the First Half Leaf of 20th Century as an Example
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
Based on the construction and its rational theories of Habermas's living-world,this paper analyzes the characteristics of plague and adjusts them according to Chinese social framework and realistic conditions during plagues. The social rescuing system and its sociological rational evolution style are also analyzed based on the functional framework of government, social culture and individuals.Individual's life style and behaviors have both been adjusted due to high pressures of plagues and government's standardization and interferences to the plagues. But seen in the long run, rational evolution of individual's life style depends on the accumulation of time, civilization, and the recognition of medical ethics among general public.
5.Progress in the study of thin basement membrane nephropathy
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(03):-
Thin basement membrane nephropathy(TBMN) is one of the most common disorders of the kidney, affecting at least 1% of the population. It seems to be a disease of the adult glomerular basement membrane(GBM) type Ⅳ collagen trimer ?3∶?4∶?5.Genetic evidence indicates that autosomal TBMN is caused by heterozygous mutations in either COL4A3 or COL4A4, whereas homozygous or combined heterozygous mutations in the same genes lead to autosomal recessive Alport syndrome. The author summarized the epidemiology, clinical features, renal biopsy, genetics, pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of TBMN.
6.Radiation nephropathy
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Radiation nephropathy refers to the damage of renal parenchyma and blood vessel caused by sufficient exposure to ionizing radiation. The clinical presentation includes proteinuria, hematuria, anemia, hypertension, and azotemia.Histological features include capillary loop thickening, mesangiolysis, formation of the double contours, subendothelial swelling, tubular atrophy, and tubulointerstitial fibrosis.Similar changes are seen in a variety of experimental animal models. The pathogenesis of radiation nephropathy remained unclear. It is reported that radiation-induced changes in kidney cell phenotype, renin angiotensin system(RAS) and oxidative stress is clearly involved.Multiple experimental studies have shown that antagonism of the RAS is beneficial, even when not initiated until weeks after irradiation.Recent findings suggest a similar benefit in clinical radiation nephropathy.
7.Effects of Th1 and Th2 immune responses on glomerulnephritis
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(09):-
The spectrum of glomerulonephritis differs in different countries and areas all over the world, and changes with socioeconomic progression. Recent researches have shown that the difference and change of the spectrum of glomerulonephritis are correlated with Th1 and Th2 immune responses."Hygiene hypothesis" is also proposed.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(03):-
During the period of 1960~1993,seven cases with anomalous origin of the left coronary artery arising from the pulmonary arteries were admitted to our hospital. Some of them were associated with other complex defects. One combined with mitral regurgitation and the other with patent ductus arterious.(PDA).The ratis of male to female was 2:5.The pa- tients age ranged from 5 to 37 years.(mean=24years).They uselly presented the symp- toms of palpitation, breathlessness, asthenia, vertigo, fatigue and angina;Echocardiography was valuable but selective angiocardiograpohy was the most useful diagnostic measure.Oper- ation of surgical bypass between aorta and left coronary artery with ligation of the fistula,as reconstruction of LCA were the major methords of choice is for the correction.Therapeutic effect of the operations were satisfactory in all cases.
