3.Advance of Taiji Quan in Fall Prevention for Old People in Community (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2017;23(9):1072-1076
Fall has seriously impaired the quality of life of old people. The main risk factors for fall in the old people are concerned with balance dysfunction which is caused by ageing. Taiji Quan exercise can promote the lower limb muscle strength, proprioception, neuro-muscular reaction, gait and cognition of the old people, that plays a role in fall prevention.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(17):37-38
Objective We discussed the nursing of patients with superior mesenteric artery syndrome (SMAS) through duodenal circular drainage operation. Methods We carried out a retrospective analysis for 42 SMAS patients undergoing duodenal circular drainage operation from. 1959 to 2007. They were given preoperative psychological nursing, correct lying style, postoperative nutritional support and health education instruction. The treatment effect was observed. Results All patients cured and left hospital. The treatment effect was good after one to fifteen years of follow-up visit. Five patients who changed to adopt duodenal circular drainage operation also got good result after nine to ten years of follow-up visit. The incidence of anastomotic ulcer and anastomotic stenosis as well as reflux gastritis was not seen. Conclusion SMAS could be cured earlier through duodenal circular drainage operation and effective nursing.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(24):8-10
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of the soft-shell technique with domestic materials during the cataract phacoemulsification. Methods Eighty-two eyes of 76 patients with the mature cataract phacoemulsification were divided into 3 groups randomly, including 28 eyes using the soft-shell technique with sodium tvlose and sodium hyaluronate (the domestic group),and 28 eyes using DuoVisc (Viscoat+ProVisc) (the import group), and 26 eyes using sodium hyaluronate (the common group). Results The average naked vision was 0.50 ± 0.22,0.51 ± 0.27,0.27 ± 0.21 respectively on the first day after operation. There was no signiticant difference between the domestic group and the import group (P>0.05 ), while the first two groups and the common group had significant difference (P < 0.05). The average naked vision was 0.61 ± 0.17,0.63 ± 0.18,0.58 ± 0.18 respectively 7 days after operation. There was no statistical difference among the three groups (P > 0.05 ). The rate of corneal endothelial cells 1 month after operation was 7.1% in the domestic group,7.0% in the import group and 15.9% in the common group. It was clear that the rate in the domestic group and the import group was much lower than that in the common group. Meanwhile, the difference existed statistically between the two groups and the common group (P < 0.01 ). However, the difference between the domestic group and the import group had no statistical significance. Conclusion The soft-shell technique with domestic materials is as safe and effective as that with the import materials in protecting the corneal endothelial cells during the cataract surgery in patients with the mature cataract.

Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2009;44(7):538-541
Objective To investigate the cytidylyl phosphate guanosine(CpG) islands methylation status of E-cadherin (E-cad) promoter region in human ovarian carcinoma cell lines (ES-2,3 AO, SKOV3 ), and the effect of 5-azacytidine-2 '-deoxycytidines (5-Aza-CdR ) on the cell proliferative ability, invasion and the expression of E-cad protein. Methods Methylation specific PCR(MSP) was used to detect CpG islands methylation status of E-cad promoter region in ES-2,3AO and SKOV3 cell lines. After treated with different concentrations of 5-Aza-CdR, morphological changes of cell lines were observed under microscope. The proliferative ability was evaluated by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) assay. E-cad protein expression was detected by western-blot and cellular invasion was investigated by 24-well matrigel invasion chambers. Results Hypermethylatian status of CpG islands of E-cad promoter region was observed in ES-2 and SKOV3 cell lines, but not in 3AO cell lines. After treated with 5-Aza-CdR (0.1,1.0,10.0 μmol/L), ES-2 and SKOV3 cell lines displayed morphological evidence of differentiation. 5-Aza-CdR was found to decrease proliferation as evidenced by cell growth curve , to increase the level of E-cad protein expression (P < 0.01 ), and effectively inhibit the ability of cell invasion(P <0.01 ). Conclusions CpG hypermethylation is an important mechanism of E-cad gene inactivation in ES-2 and SKOV3 cell lines. 5-Aza-CdR be found to inhibit proliferation and invasion, and increase the expression of E-cad probably by the inhibition of hypermethylation.

[Objective]To evluate the influence of subacromial space caused by the relative position of acromion and humeral head, and to provide theoretical guidance for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of subacromial impingement syndrome.[Method]From October 2006 to March 2007,31 shoulders(13 men and 18 women with average age of 54.3)with subacromial impingement syndrome, from our department, were selected to form the patient group,An age and gender-matched of 40 asymptomatic shoulders(18 men and 22 women with average age of 52.8)formed the control group. The acromion index was measured on the Grashey view. The distance from the glenoid plane to the lateral border of the acromion was divided by the distance from the glenoid plane to the lateral aspect of the humeral head to calculate the acromion index.[Result]The average acromion index(and standard deviation)was(0.72?0.05),in patient group,(0.61?0.04)in the asymptomatic, normal shoulders. The difference between the index in the shoulders with subacromial impingement syndrome and the index in normal shoulder was highly significantly(P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(11):-
Objective To explore the changes and significance of matrix metalloproteinase 3 (MMP3) during wound healing in rat. Methods Wound fluids and dermal pluripotent stem cells (DPSCs) were isolated with routine method from rats, and they were purified and expanded. Wound fluid was collected on the first day to serve as wound microenvironment, then the responses of DPSCs to wound fluids were investigated, and the expression of MMP3 protein in DPSCs was determined by immunohistochemistry staining. Meanwhile, animal models were repruduced with cutaneous incision and suturing, and the animals were respectively assigned to intractable wound group, in which rats received whole body irradiation, and simple wound group, in which no irradiation was given. The rats were sacrificed on 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 14th day posttrauma (n=5 each), and specimens of wound tissue were harvested, fixed with 10% formalin solution. Twenty four hours later, the samples were dehydrated and embeded, then paraffin section were made. Paraffin sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining. Light microscopy was used to observe the pathological changes in wounds. Five randomly selected fields were observed under a ?40 objective to evaluate the histological features, especially the amount of tissue repairing cells in wounds. Furthermore, MMP3 contents in wound sites were determined by immunohistochemistry assay and image analysis. Results The expression of MMP3 in DPSCs increased significantly after stimulation by wound fluids. MMP3 contents in rats of simple wound group increased significantly, especially in the dermal tissues, and the peak value appeared 5-7 days after trauma. MMP3 contents in rats of intractable wound group were significantly less than those of simple wound group, and the time when the peak value appeared was also delayed till the 10th day after trauma. Conclusions MMP3 may be an important substrate involved in wound healing. DPSCs may participate in the processes of wound repairing via high expression of MMP3.
