1.Research progress on mechanism and premedication regimen of taxanes hypersensitivity reactions
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(3):190-192
Hypersensitivity reactions ( HSRs) are the serious problems of taxanes in the clinical appli- cation. These reactions range in severity from mild flushing and itching to bronchospasm, dyspnea and signifi-cant alterations in blood pressure with loss of consciousness or not, and death in some rare cases. Nevertheless, HSRs are often reported only sporadically in clinical trials or as case reports. The vague or inconsistent termi-nology used to describe these reactions may reflect our poor understanding of their pathophysiology. This article will reviews the advancement of taxanes HSRs.

Objective To measure the course of the mandibular canal in mandibula posterior area by cone-beam computed tomography ( CBCT ) , to provide a theoretical support for implant preoperative assessment. Methods Mandibular data of 65 people measured by CBCT were collected, measured the distance between mandibular canal around the bone wall and analyzed the differences by gender and the differences between the left and the right. Results The average distance of mandibular canal outer edge to the buccal bone plate by former backward in-creased gradually,at least in the area of the mental formen, at largest in the area of the mental foramen after 18 mm. The average distance between mandibular canal inner edge to lingual bone plate by former backward reduced gradually, at largest in the area of the mental foramen,at least in the area of the mental foramen after 18 mm. The average distance between mandibular canal upper edge to alveolar crest by former backward reduced gradually,at largest in the area of the mental foramen, at least in the area of the mental foramen after 18 mm. The average dis-tance between the edge of mandibular canal to the edge of mandible by former backward reduced previous, then in-creased, at least in the area of the mental foramen after 6 mm, at largest in the area of the mental foramen after 18 mm. All the results had no significant statistical differences between the male and the female, and had no significant statistical differences between the left and the right. Conclusion The trajectory of the mandibular canal from front to back is downward first, then upward in the mesial of the first molar in the vertical, and whose from the buccal side to the lingual side. That has significance for assessment before implant in mandibular posterior area.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
Medical equipment is playing an important role in medical treatment, teaching and scientific research, especially in how to improve the utilization rate of large and middle medical equipment to ensure the safety and integrity of medical equipment in the clinical operation, and this is a very significant job. Through the operation of large and middle medical equipment to conduct analysis, comparison and statistics, it can be found the issue and adjusts timely to improve the medical equipment management of the technological level and economic benefits.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(11):-
To discuss the advantages and disadvantages of fibular osteosynthesis and osteotomy in the treatment of tibial fractures. Medical literature was searched for articles concerning “fibular fracture”and“fibular osteotomy”on Medline to have a comprehensive idea of experiences of others. The results of others and of ours were analyzed and interpreted. Fractures of distal tibia and fibula with displaced distal tibial articular fractures were classic indications of fibular osteosynthesis, but distal tibiofibular syndesmosis and stability of ankle joint were seldom affected by the fibular fracture when tibia was fractured. It is not necessary to perform routine osteosynthesis for distal fibula fracture. Fibular osteotomy may be considered as an adjuvant procedure when atrophic nonunion or deformity union of tibia occurs. It is wise in treatment of tibial fractures not to perform fibular osteosynthesis or osteotomy whenever possible.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Objective To know the health habit about water drinking of the residents in the communities provided with pipe direct drinking water system. Methods From June, 2006 till July, 2006, 340 family were interviewed using the same questionnaire. At the same time, the water samples were collected from the pipe direct drinking water system and tap water. Results Of the interviewed family, 80.37% drank the water of pipe direct drinking water system. 47.66% also used the water for washing, gargling, cooking and so on. 61.69% drank the water without boiling. 69.15% did not abandon the old water before using. 67.29% never sterilized the tap and the detection rate of bacteria in the samples was 83.18%. Conclusion The contamination situation of the pipe direct drinking water system in Podong New District, Shanghai is not to be ignored. The health administrative organization must strengthen the inspection of the pipe direct drinking water system and the health education in this field must be promoted.

Clinical Medicine of China 2009;25(10):1030-1032
Objective To detect the expression of apoptotic inhibitor protein Livin in different esophageal epithelial lesions and to analyze the relation between the expression of Livin with pathologic characteristics. Methods The expressions of Livin mRNA and Livin protein were detected by real- time fluorescence quantitative PCR and western blot in 40 patients with different esophageal epithelial lesions including normal, atypical hyperplasia, carcino-ma in stiu and invasive carcinoma. Results The expressions of Livin mRNA were progressively increased from nor-mal to invasive carcinoma( 1.00 ± 0. 00,2.26 ± 0.79,7.24 ± 1.06,12.21 ± 2.47 ). There was statistical signifi-cance in Livin mRNA expression among carcinoma in stiu and invasive carcinoma and normal tissues ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion The expression of Livin is significantly related to the progression of esophageal cancer, which may be a new target for diagnosis and gene treatment of esophageal carcinoma.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of low-dose dexamethasone pretreatment regimen in prevention of hypersensitive reaction (HR) related to docetaxel in elderly tumor patients. Methods According to the order for admission and the ratio of 3:2, 91 elderly patients with docetaxel weekly therapy were randomly divided into two groups: experimental group and control group. All patients aged from 65 to 82 years with a median age of 68 years old. There were 54 patients in the experimental group and 37 patients in the control group. In the experimental group, patients received oral dexamethasone 4. 5 mg once daily on 1 day before treatment, the day of treatment and continuing for 3 days after treatment, while patients received 8 mg twice daily in the control group. All patients were scored according to MCIRS by the physician. The side effects were evaluated by NCI-CTCAE3.0. Results Four cases in the experimental group (7.4 %) and three cases in the control group (8. 1%) occurred HR, and there was no significant statistical difference (P=1. 000). Conclusions The low dose dexamethasone is efficient and safe compared with the conventional dose dexamethasone, and there is no significant difference in HR incidence between two groups.

Objective To evaluate the safety, feasibility and efficacy of CT-guided percutaneous hollow screw fixation in the treatment of patients with sacroiliac complex injury. Methods Forty-five patients (at age range of 15-58 years) with sacroiliac complex injuries including 20 males and 25 females were enrolled in this study. There were 28 traffic injuries and 17 fall injuries. Fourteen patients with sacral fractures ( 15 patients with Dennis type Ⅰ fractures and nine with Dennis type Ⅱ fractures), 12 with sacroiliac joint dislocation, six with sacral fracture combined with sacroiliac joint dislocation and nine with sacroiliac joint complex injury. All patients were treated by CT-guided percutaneous hollow screw fixation. The functional exercise was performed early after operation. Results Seventy-two hollow screws were installed in 45 patients, with the operation time for 21-68 minutes ( average 37 minutes) and the operative blood loss for 30-75 ml. Of all, 38 patients were followed up for 6-26 months. According to the Majeed functional criteria, the score of the patients was 72-96 points (average 90. 3 points ), which showed that the results were excellent in 33 patients and good in two, with excellence rate of 92%. No iatrogenic nerve injury, incision infection or screw fracture were detected. Conclusion CT-guided percutaneous hollow screw fixation takes advantages of precise direction, stable fixation and safe operation and hence is one of safe and effective methods for treatment of sacroiliac complex injury.
