Objective To evaluate the effect of ulinastatin on hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury in patients with hepatic alveolar echinococcosis in plateau region.Methods Sixty patients with hepatic alveolar echinococcosis in plateau region,weighing 45-75 kg,aged 30-55 yr,of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ,scheduled for elective partial hepatectomy,were divided into control group (C group) and ulinastatin group (U group) using a random number table,with 30 patients in each group.Ulinastatin 12 000 U/kg (in 100 ml of normal saline) was infused intravenously at 20 min before occlusion of hepatic portal in group U,and normal saline 100 ml was given instead in group C.Before operation,at 10 min after occlusion of hepatic portal,at 20 min and 1 h after unclamping hepatic portal and at 12 h after operation,blood samples were collected from the right internal jugular vein for determination of the levels of serum alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase and malondialdehyde.Results Compared with group C,the levels of serum alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase and malondialdehyde were significantly decreased at 20 min and 1 h after unclamping hepatic portal and 12 h after operation in group U (P＜0.05).Conclusion Ulinastatin can attenuate hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury in patients with hepatic alveolar echinococcosis in plateau region.

Objective To investigate the clinical and intellectual characteristics of children with cerebral palsy of ataxia type.Methods Twenty-one children with cerebral palsy of ataxia type were evaluated by the illness history,clinical physical examination,brain MRI scan and intellectual assessment.Results Delayed motor milestones and dysfunction of balance were found in these children,and 80.9% of brain MRI scan was abnormal as cerebellar damage,and delayed intellectual ability found in these children was ameliorated as improvement of motor function.Conclusion Cerebral palsy of ataxia type is mainly caused by cerebellar damage manifests as delayed motor function,dysfunction of balance and mental retardation.

Objective To investigate the current situation of maternal self- efficacy of breastfeeding and explore its influencing factors in Zhengzhou. Methods Using the general condition questionnaires, breast feeding self-efficacy scale, perceived social support scale and Edinburgh postnatal depression scale to assess the situation of 180 puerperas by the convenience sampling in one obstetric hospital of Zhengzhou. Results The total score of maternal breast feeding self-efficacy was(114.04 ± 21.57)points.The frequency of delivery, the way of delivery and feeding ways, the average income of family were effected with breastfeeding self-efficacy. The total score of social support was(68.87 ± 10.43) points, the total score of puerperas depression was(7.61 ± 4.25) points.The social support score had positive correlation with breastfeeding self-efficacy(r=0.423, P<0.01). Puerperas depression had negative correlation with breastfeeding self- efficacy(r=- 0.342, P<0.01). Conclusions The maternal breastfeeding level in Zhengzhou was at a lower level. The level of maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy scale was impacted by maternal social support degree, the degree of depression. Measures should be taken to enhance maternal social support degree, reduce the degree of depression, in order to improve the level of maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy.

Objective To compare the accuracy of post-operative pain score ratings using three numerical rating scales(NRS) between the children,nurses and parents.Methods Cognitively intact children aged five to twelve undergoing all surgical procedures were studied.Thirty-one children were included in the study.The numerical rating scale was used to rate the children's pain by the children,nirses and parents on arrival to the PACU and prior to discharge.Results We found strong correlations between children's,parent's and nurses' pain scores on admission and discharge from PACU.The intraclass correlation coefficient of pain scores reported by children and parents was 0.948(95％CI,0.897～0.975) and 0.938(95％CI,0.877～0.970).The intraclass correlation coefficient of pain scores reported by children and nurses was 0.961 (95％CI,0.922～0.981),0.972(95％CI,0.944～0.986).The intraclaas correlation coefficient of pain scores reported by parents and nurses was 0.924 (95％CI,0.850～0.963),0.921 (95％CI,0.844～0.961).Conclusions The numerical rating scale appeared to be suitable for younger children.We found strong correlations between pain scores reported by children,nurses and parents using a numerical rating scale.

"Vessels Collateral Theory", as the inherit and development of "blood vessels" in Huangdi Neijing, is a systematic system by integrating severe vascular diseases. In this article, by taking cardiovascular diseases (CVD) as a cut-in point, roles of "minute collateral-microvascular" lesions in the occurrence and development of CVD were further explored. The interventional effect of collateral-unblocking medicines under the guidance of Vessels Collateral Theory was also in-depth explored, hoping to leading Chinese medical prevention and treatment of CVD.

Objective To study the chemical constituents from the roots of Euphorbia sonngarica. Methods Compounds were isolated by Sephadex LH-20,MPLC,and silica gel column chromatographies. Their structures were identified by spectral methods together with physicochemical analysis.Results Eleven compounds were isolated from the roots of E.sonngarica.They were identified as cryptomeridiol (Ⅰ),betulin(Ⅱ),betulinic acid(Ⅲ),3?-hydroxy-olean-12-en-28-oic acid(Ⅳ),7-oxo-?sitosterol (Ⅴ),erythrinasinate(Ⅵ),octaeosanoie acid(Ⅶ),1-octacosene(Ⅷ),24-methene-cycloartenol(Ⅸ),eu- phol(Ⅹ),?-sitosterol(Ⅺ).Conclusion CompoundsⅠ-Ⅷare isolated from this plant for the first time.

Sleep disorders are commonly occurred among patients with Parkinson's disease,such as difficulties in the initiation of sleep,fragmented sleep,sleep behavior disorder and excessive daytime sleepiness.The mechanism of sleep disorders associated with Parkinson's disease is not clear,which may be associated with the injury of brain stem,nuclei of median raphe,nuclei fasciculi solitarii,thalamencephalon and the changes of neurotransmitters as dopamine,hypocretin(orexin) and melatonin.This article gives an overview of the mechanism of sleep disorders associated with Parkinson's disease.

Ralstonia metallidurans CH34 was isolated from the deposit of a znic factory .The degradation of phenol by R .metallidurans CH34 was investigated. The results showed that R . metallidurans CH34 possesses high ability to degrade phenol with the biodegradation rate constant of 0.33 . The optimal pH , temperature and volume of medium for phenol degradation are pH 7.0 , 30℃ , and 20%(v/v), respectively . In addition , this strain retains its ability to degrade phenol in the presence of high concentration of heavy metal ion .The sodium citrate , sodium succinate can enhance the degradation of phenol.

OBJECTIVEThe present study is concerning qualitative and quantitative detection of Poria cocos quality based on FT-near infrared (FT-NIR) spectroscopy combined with chemometrics.

METHODThe Poria cocos polysaccharides contents were determined by UV. Transmission mode was used in the collection of NIR spectral samples. The pretreatment method was first derivation and vector normalization. Then principal component analysis (PCA) was used to build classification model and partial least square (PLS) to build the calibration model.

RESULTThe results showed that conventional criteria such as the R, root mean square error of calibration (RMSEC), and the root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) are 0.944 0, 0.072 1 and 0.076 2, respectively. The misclassified sample is 0 using the qualitative model built by PCA.

CONCLUSIONThe prediction models based on NIR have a better performance with high precision, good stability and adaptability and can be used to predict the polysaccharose content of Poria cocos rapidly, which can provide a fast approach to discriminate the different parts of Poria cocos.
