The β-adrenergic receptor has close relationship with the occurrence and development of tumor.The β-adrenergic receptors were expressed in a variety of tumors.Its activation can stimulate tumor growth by promoting cell proliferation,inhibite apoptosis,promote angiogenesis,and enhance tumor invasion and metastasis.The β-adrenergic receptor blockers can suppress the tumor growth,which may become one of the effective methods of cancer prevention and treatment.

Objective To investigate the clinical treatment effect of tubular stomach substitute for esophagus anastomosis in the radical surgery of esophageal cancer.Methods Ninety-seven patients diagnosed with esophageal cancer in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from June 2013 to June 2015 were selected.They were divided into two groups,51 patients using the gastric tube substitute for esophagus anastomosis in the gastric tube group,and 46 patients using the traditional full stomach substitute for esophagus anastomosis in the whole stomach group.The operation times,intraoperative blood losses,the amount of postoperative gastrointestinal decompression,hospital stays,pathologic stages and incidences of complications after surgery in the two groups were observed and compared.Results There were no preoperative death in the two groups.The gastric tube group took more operating time than the whole stomach group [(287.43 ± 23.64) min vs.(266.13 ±26.47) min],with a significant difference (t =2.279,P =0.031).In the comparison of the amount of gastrointestinal decompression,the gastric tube group was less than the whole stomach group [(1 908.14 ±327.97) ml vs.(2 221.93 ± 323.87) ml],with a significant difference (t =-2.591,P =0.015).There were not significant differences in blood losses [(325.00 ± 64.30) ml vs.(356.67 ± 49.52) ml;t =-1.490,P =0.147],the numbers of lymph nodes [(10.73 ± 4.83) vs.(10.36 ± 5.31);t =0.238,P =0.813],hospital stays [(15.32 ± 3.69) d vs.(16.45 ± 3.80) d;t =-1.005,P =0.320] and pathologic stages (P =0.713) in the gastric tube group and whole stomach group.The incidence of gastroesophageal reflux in the gastric tube group was significantly less than that in the whole stomach group,with a significant difference (1.96％ vs.15.22％;x2 =5.617,P =0.025).The occurrence of the complications like anastomotic leakage (5.88％ vs.10.87％;x 2=0.795,P =0.471),postoperative pulmonary complications (13.73 ％ vs.23.91％;x2 =1.661,P =0.296)and anastomotic stenosis (7.84％ vs.13.04％;x2 =0.707,P =0.510) had no statistical difference in the gastric tube group and whole stomach group.Conclusion In the surgical treatment of esophageal cancer,tubular stomach substitute for esophagus anastomosis is better than the full stomach substitute for esophageal surgery,which can improve the life quality of postoperative patients and is worthy of clinical promotion.

Using Response Surface Methodology (RSM), an optimizing model of concurrent parameter and tolerance design is proposed where response mean equals its target in the target being best. The optimizing function of the model is the sum of quality loss and tolerance cost subjecting to the variance confidence region of which six sigma capability can be assured. An example is illustrated in order to compare the differences between the developed model and the parameter design with minimum variance. The results show that the proposed method not only achieves robustness, but also greatly reduces cast. The objectives of high quality and low cost of product and process can be achieved simultaneously by the application of six sigma concurrent parameter and tolerance design.

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of acupuncture plus ice excitation on dysphagia in stroke patients.Methods60 stroke patients with dysphagia were divided randomly into treatment group (n=30) and control group (n=30). The treatment group received acupuncture plus ice excitation, while the control group only received acupuncture. The course was 4 weeks.ResultsThe curative effect showed that the total effective rate was 96.67% in the treatment group with recovery in 23 cases, improvement in 6 cases, and uselessness in 1 case, while the total effective rate was 73.33% in the control group with recovery in 17 cases, improvement in 5 cases, and uselessness in 8 cases (χ2=6.435, P＜0.05).ConclusionAcupuncture plus ice excitation had a good effect on dysphagia in stroke patients.

Objective To study the influence of HBV infection for gastromucous membrane in chronic hepatitis B and cirrhosis and its pathogenesis.Methods The liver biopsy,gastroscope,liver function and HBVM were detected at the same time in 60 patients with chronic hepatitis B and cirrhosis.HBsAg and HBcAg in the tissues of liver and gastromucous membrane were detected by SP immunohistochemistry.Results The damage of gastromucous membrane were found in 56 of 60 patients.Its damage degree was showed as moderate and severe.The other 34 showed mild and moderate damage(P

To develop a medication reminder based on Android platform, which can be used to set up personalized reminders quickly and record the patient' s medication time-stamp and related information. In addition, the effect of using the reminder on medication compliance was studied. 14 subjects participated in the evaluation of medica-tion compliance. The differences of dosage and medication rate between the group using and without using reminder were investigated. The dosage and medication rate were got by the pill counting. The Wilcoxon matched -pairs signed rank test showed that the dosage and the medication rate of the group using reminder were higher than that without using reminder significantly(Z= -2. 93, P =0. 003 ). The results demonstrated that the use of the re-minder can improve the medication dose and rate significantly,indicate that the reminder might be a new technical support for clinical research on medication compliance, and also might reduce the workload for medical staff and patients.

Objective To establish staff performance evaluation system of academy of medical sciences.Methods The Delphi method was employed.Results The main indicators of staff performance evaluation were selected by two-round of the Delphi method,and the evaluation system was established.Evaluation indicators covered different types of jobs of science research,medical services,disease prevention,medical education,science and technology support.Conclusions After two-round of consultation,there were more consistencies among experts regarding to selection of evaluation indicators.It will be tested and justified by further theoretical and empirical research.

Objective To analyze the changing process and development trend of deaths (mortality)in patients with viral hepatitis after the use of the Internet-based National Notifiable Infectious Disease Reporting System.Methods Descriptive statistical and moving average methods were employed to analyze the infectious disease reports released by the Chinese government during 1992-2013,and the changing process and development trend of deaths (mortality)in patients with viral hepatitis in China over the past 10 years were investigated.Re-sults The annual deaths (mortality)in patients with viral hepatitis showed a decreasing trend.The deaths (mortality)from hepatitis B showed a slight declining trend,accounting for a great proportion (over 70%)of the deaths (mortality)from viral hepatitis;the deaths (mortality)from hepatitis C had shown a slight downward trend since 2007;the deaths (mortality)from hepatitis A and unclassified hepati-tis decreased to different extents;the deaths (mortality)from hepatitis E remained at a relatively low level.Conclusion The treatment of viral hepatitis has been gradually improved in China and the public awareness of viral hepatitis keeps increasing.However,much attention still needs to be given to the prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis,especially hepatitis B and C,by the government.

The authors reviewed the breeding situations of mites in homes,including rates,distribution,seasonal variation and common species,and the diagnosis and treatment of the allergic diseases caused by mites,as well as their parasitizing in gastrointestinal tract,lungs,urinary tract and other organs.In the end,the measurements for control of mites in homes were demonstrated.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare silybin liposomes(SLBL)coated by N-trimethyl chitosan(TMC)(TMC60-SLBL),and to optimize the formula. METHODS:The effects of 3 kinds of preparation methods on encapsulation efficiency of SLBL were com-pared,including film dispersion method,multiple emulsion method and reverse evaporation method. The formula of TMC60-SLBL was optimized by orthogonal test using encapsulation efficiency as index with the concentration of phospholipid,ratio of phospholip-id to cholesterol,ratio of silybin to lipids,hydration temperature as factors. The stability of TMC60-SLBL by optimal formula at 4 and 25℃within 30 d,the particle size and Zeta potential of TMC60-SLBL and SLBL were all compared. RESULTS:The encapsu-lation efficiency of TMC60-SLBL prepared by the film dispersion method was the highest,without statistical significance in encap-sulation efficiency before and after cutting (P>0.05). The optimal formula was with the concentration of phospholipid 6 mg/ml;the ratio of phospholipid to cholesterol 40∶1;the ratio of silybin to lipids 1∶30;the temperature of hydration medium 45 ℃;the encapsulation efficiency were(82.08±2.6)%,RSD=3.17%(n=3). The preparation was stable at 4℃;the mean diameter of SL-BL and TMC60-SLBL were(131.9±1.9)nm and(161.2±2.0)nm,and Zeta potential respectively were(-23.18±1.14)mV and (36.73 ± 2.84) mV. CONCLUSIONS:TMC60-SLBL is prepared successfully,and its formula is simple and practicable with high encapsulation efficiency.
