1.Application of the Mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system in breast surgery: An analysis of 132 cases
Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(09):-
Objective To evaluate the application of u lt rasound guided Mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system in the diagnosis and t reatment of breast mass. Methods B-ultrasound guided stereotac tic core breast biopsy using the Mammotome system was conducted in 221 breast ma sses of 132 patients. Unilateral solitary masses were found in 79 patients and u nilateral or bilateral multiple masses, in 53 patients. The mass was 0.5~5.2 cm (mean, 1.4 cm) in diameter. Of the 221 masses, 149 were clinically palpable. Results All the lesions were removed by using the Mammotome syste m. The stereotactic excisional biopsy was performed for a mean of 24 times, last ing a mean of 36 min (range, 10~40 min). No failed procedure occurred. All the m asses were pathologically confirmed as benign lesions in 129 patients and invasi ve ductal carcinomas in 3 patients (a modified radical mastectomy was then perfo rmed). Postoperatively, the incision scar was barely visible and no complication s happened except for mild subcutaneous hemorrhage in 10 patients. Conc lusions Use of B-ultrasound guided stereotactic core breast biopsy usin g the Mammotome system for the removal of benign breast lesions is convenient, e ffective, and minimally invasive.

Objective To observe the characteristic changes of tongue temperature on patients of different hepatopathy tongue of blood stasis and different blood stasis syndrome types (BSS). Methods The diagram of tongue temperature was gotten in Thermoviewer SAT-HY6000A. Results The temperature of whole tongue of normal group fell down in turn as follows:root of tongue, margin of the tongue, middle surface of tongue, apex of tongue. The temperature of tongue of all the hepatopathy group was sharp dropped compared with normal group (P

Objective To discuss the clinical value of f iberoptic ductoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Methods A total of 3 000 patients with mastalgia, breast mass or ni pple discharge received examinations by fiberoptic ductoscopy. Cytological exami nations were carried out in part of the patients after ductoscopy. Resu lts Of the 3 000 cases, there were 608 cases of intraductal space-occup ying lesions, 1 709 cases of obstructive galactophoritis, 350 cases of galactost asia, 24 cases of acute galactophoritis, 282 cases of simple mammarv duct ectasi a, and 27 cases of normal mammary ducts. Of 1 167 patients with nipple discharge , intraductal space-occupying lesions were clarified by ductoscopy in 585 cases (50%). Surgery was performed in 643 cases while intraductal interventional thera py was adopted in 2 365 cases. Conclusions Fiberoptic ductosco py may be used for the diagnosis and treatment of various breast diseases, not c onfined to nipple discharge.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1996;0(07):-
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of stellate ganglion block ( SGB) in the treatment of ischemic optic neuropathy ( ION ) as compared with that of steroids. Methods Eighty-two eyes were involved in seventy patients with ION. The patients were randomly assigned to receive either steroids (dexamethason 15 mg iv q.d. for 5-10 days followed by peroral prednisone 20 mg q.d.) ( n = 34, 38 eyes) or ipsilateral SGB (2% lidocaine 2-3 ml q.d. 10-15 days) ( n = 36, 44 eyes). The criteria for judging the efficacy of the treatment were changes in visual acuity, ocular fundus, visual field and visual evoked potential (VEP) . The effectiveness of the treatment was divided into four grades : excellent, good, improved and no effect. Results In steroid group the results of treatment were rated as excellent for 10, good for 12, improved for 3 and no effect for 13 eyes (the overall success rate was 65.8%), while in SGB group the results were rated as excellent for 15, good for 14, improved for 5 and no effect for 10 eyes ( the overall success rate was 77.3 % ). In patients who were successfully treated, the visual acuity improved, the pale edema of optic papilla was disappearing and the color and blood vessels of retina were returning to normal. The latent time of VEP P100 was significantly shortened and the amplitude increased in both groups. Conclusion SGB is a safe, reliable and effective method of treatment for ION.

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(05):-
Observation of tongue fur is one of the methods of diagnosing diseases in TCM,and tongue fur scaling cytology has important significance for quantitative standard of inspection of the tongue. In this paper, normal and abnormal tongue fur scaling cytology are studied and application laws of tongue fur scaling cytology in TCM syndrome differentiation typing,i,e.,syndrome differentiation of Wei,Qi,Ying and blood, syndrome differentiation of Zang-and Fu-organs,syndrome differentiation of Qi, blood, body fluid, and syndrome differentiation of the eight principal syndromes are expounded.

Objective To investigate the value of the expressions of estrogen receptor(ER)and progesterone receptor(PR)in the cast-off cells from the fluid of latex ductal lavage in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Methods A total of 58 female out-patients were examined by fiberoptic ductoscopy(FDS).All patients were divided into 6 groups by the complaints, physical examination, ultrasound and FDS:normal group(10 persons without symptoms and abnormalities in any examination),galactostasis group(n=19),latex fill up group(n=11),intraductal papilloma group(n=2),mammary ductal ectasia group(n=7)and contralateral examination after mastectomy for breast cancer group(n=9).A total of 168 ducts were successfully examined by FDS,and the expressions of ER and PR in the cast-off cells were detected among all of the samples. Results The positive rates of ER and PR expression in the cast-off cells from the fluid of latex ductal lavage in benign breast disease groups were much higher than those in normal group(P

Objective To evaluate the effect of "health education mobile classroom " in the outpatient department of children's hospital, and to analyze the needs of the outpatient and family members on health education. Methods Through the retrospective analysis of the information of the outpatient and emergency patients in the children's specialist hospital to determine the content, the venue and the time period of the "health education mobile classroom". Selection and training the health educator to implement the health education. At the same time, push the training content through the mobile APP to the patient's family, to expand the education audience. To compare and analyze the patient satisfaction of the hospital and the satisfaction with the dimensions of the project. In the evaluation of the effect of health education and the influencing factors, the relationship between income, occupation and children is positively related, and age is negatively related to it. Results After the implement of this project, the satisfaction of the patient had increased for 3.65%(P=0.001). Overall assessment of the audience was very satisfied with (3.94 ± 0.25) points. In each dimension analysis, the satisfaction of the "training method"was the highest, at (3.94 ± 0.26) points. Satisfied with the attitude of the trainers and comprehensive ability were more than 3.80 points. Conclusions The "health education mobile classroom" can improve patient satisfaction in the outpatient department and emergency of children's specialist hospital. Audience has a certain degree of acceptance and satisfaction with this health education mode.
