1.THE PRELIMINARY ANALYSES OF SOME COMPONENTS IN SPIRULINA
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
The compositions of amino acids and carotenoids, Na+,-K+ and Ca2+ in Spirulina grown in culture media with different NaCl concentrations have been determined. The experimental results indicated that at higher salinity the composition of amino acids did not change, but some of its ratios altered obviously. The ?-carotene constituted the majority of the carotenoids, the content of which declined with the increasing of NaCl concentration in medium. Along with the increase of NaCl, the content of Na+ increased, but K+ declined, and Ca2+ kept constant.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(5):393-396
Malnutrition in patients with acute stroke is quite common. It is an independent risk factor affecting stroke prognosis. Early enteral nutrition can improve the nutritional status of the stroke patients, lower infection rate and mortality, promote recovery of neurological function, and improve the quality of life. Therefore, under the premise of the gastrointestinal tolerance, the patients with severe stroke should select early enteral nutrition as early as possible.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2009;8(10):751-752
As to evaluating the medical compliance of patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and the influence factors, information of 163 patients with CHB treated with lamivudine were collected by using the self-designed questionnaire, and the medical compliance and influencing factors of the patients were acquired by the research followed, and the prognosis and allocation were also observed. The results showed the medical compliance in 77.3% of patients with CHB was good, and in 22.7% patients was poor. After following-up for 2 years, the negative rates of HBV DNA and HBeAg shown in patients with good medical compliance were 78.6% and 46.0%, respectively, showing a significantly higher rate than in those with poor medical compliance, which having the rate of 37.8% and 21.6%, respectively (P<0.01). We suggested that there should be a correlation between the medical compliance of patients with CHB and the prognosis.

Objective To investigate the cerebral infarction patterns and pathogenesis in patients with internal carotid artery (ICA) and middle cerebral artery (MCA) severe stenosis (the degree of stenosis 70%- 99% ) or occlusion in order to provide evidence for the individualized prevention and treatment strategies. Methods Seventy-six patients with acute cerebral infarction who showed the responsible lesions at the corresponding MCA territory on diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into ICA lesion, MCA lesion and negative result on digital subtraction angiography and CT angiogaphy (NR) groups according to the vascular examinations. Their infarcts were divided into single and multiple infarctions. According to the positions, the former was divided into perforating artery infarct (PAI), pial infarct (PI), and border-zone infarct (BZ). Results The infarct morphologies in the MCA territory were divided into 9 types. The different lesions caused infarct morphologies were different (x2 =34. 000, P =0. 001). The distribution pattern of multiinfarcts accounted for 73.68% of all patients (56/76). The distribution pattern of PAI + PI in the ICA lesion group was significantly more than that in the NR goup (17/42 vs. 1/16,x2 =6. 837, P =0. 009). There were some correlations between the degree of artery stenosis and the infarct morphology. The severe ICA lesions mostly showed PAI with PI (7/17 vs. 1/16,x2 =5. 475, P =0. 019), and the severe MCA lesions mostly showed PAI with BZ (3/8 vs. 1/17,x2 =4. 046, P =0. 040). Conclusions In patients with cerebral infarction of ICA or MCA severe stenosis or occlusion, most of them showed multiinfarct pattern. This suggested that the different mechanisms of stroke onset might be associated with the arterial-arterial embolization or hypoperfusion.

Objective Objective To study the feasibility of direct applying MRI to TPS by measuring the geometric distortion of MRI. Methods Phantom 1 was made by marking radical arrangement of fat pipelines every 15? in foam phantom and Phantom 2 by net arrangement at every 2.7?cm. Coronal and transverse scan parallel with the radial and net fat pipeline in the phantom was performed at sequence of cranial FSE T2WI by Marconi 1.5T superconduct MRI machine. Geometric distortion in 5 different fields of view (FOV) was calculated by measuring the absolute borderline error of direct scan and coronal digital reconstructed radiograph (DRR). Results When FOV was equal or smaller than 11.0?cm?11.0?cm, 22.0?cm?22.0?cm and 27.5?cm?27.5?cm, the geometric distortion was 0.0, 1.1 and 1.4?mm of direct scanning MRI and 1.0,1.4 and 2.0?mm of coronal DRR. Conclusion When the magnetic field of MR is high and the tissue shows uniform density, MRI can be applied on TPS directly.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2001;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the clinical value of iPass in three dimensional contrast enhanced MR angiography (3D-CE-MRA). Methods iPass were performed in 32 cases, including cervical vessel (4 cases), pulmonary vessel (7 cases), abdominal vessel (18 cases), and femoral vessel (3 cases). iPass bolus tracking was run before 3D-CE-MRA. The tracking sequence was operated repeatedly with real time display of image. The peak of bolus arrival time(Tp), identified with signal of target vessel increased 30% over baseline, was automatically loaded in the timing page of 3D-CE-MRA, and the time of scan delay(Td) was computed by the system with Tp. The acquired images were subtracted and reconstructed by MIP. The quality of MIP image was evaluated. Results The iPass bolus tracking sequence and 3D-CE-MRA were completed successfully in 29 cases. The bolus tracking couldn′t detect the bolus arrival time in 3 cases, but they were completed through changing ROI and bolus tracking repeatedly. The average score of 3D-CE-MRA MIP image was 3.81?0.59. Conclusion iPass can provide the exact Tp and automatically control Td of 3D-CE-MRA. iPass is a useful procedure to improve the image quality and provide the specific scanning scheme for 3D-CE-MRA.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of ziprasidone mesylate injection on the acute agitation symptom in mental retardation. Methods The total of 80 patients of mental retardation with acute agitation symptoms were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group (40 patients) were intra-muscarly given with ziprasidone mesylate injection at the initial dose of 10 mg, 20 mg 4 h later, and 30 mg once on the second day and third day. And the control group (40 patients) were treated with haloperidol injection. The volume dose of haloperidol was 20 mg everyday. Other antipsychotic drugs, antimanic drugs and benzodiazepines were not allowed to be used during the observation, neither does the prophylactic use of drugs against parkinson's disease. Before and 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 h after treatment, the positive and negative scale ( PANSS) reduction rate, the end of the clinical global impression scale ( CGI) were assessed. By the end of the treatment, the adverse reactions symptom, cale ( TESS) was assessed for the safety. Results By the end of treatment PANSS reduction rate was 46. 31% in the test group and 48. 81% in the control group, the clinical improvement rate was 80. 00% in the treatment group and 82. 50% in the control group. No statistically significant difference on efficacy was found between two groups. The side reaction rate in the treatment group was 27. 5%, that in the control group was 40. 0%, there was significant difference ( P<0. 05) between two groups, but the extrapyramidal reaction in the control group was significantly more than that in the treatment group(P<0. 05). Conclusion Ziprasidone mesylate injection is effective on treating the symptoms of mental retardation, in corresponding to the effect of haloperidol injection, and with less extrapyramidal reactions.
