3.Development of Digital Intracranial Pressure Gage

Objective To provide precise data of encephalic pressure of the patients with higher encephalic pressure.Methods Through a hole bored in the proper position on the top of skull,a 1mm vessel,full of physiological saline,was inserted into the ventricle,whose outside was connected with the sensor through a 3-way stop cock.The sensor transformed the pressure into electrical signals and transmitted them to micro-computer C8051F020 for data processing.The value of pressure was then displayed on the LCD.Results Real-time and precise detection could be acquired by this intracranial pressure gage.Conclusion The digital intracranial pressure gage is easy-to-operate,simple and portable.
4.The role of fiberoptic bronchoscopy in the positioning of ProSeal laryngeal mask airway

Objective To investigate the role of fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB) in the positioning of ProSeal laryngeal mask airway (PLMA). Methods Sixty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients undergoing general anesthesia using PLMA were randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases each: inserted PLMA group (group A)and FOB positioning group (group B). After the routine intravenous anesthesia induction,the PLMA inflated to an intracapsular pressure of 50 cm H2O (1 cm H2O =0.098 kPa) with the positive airway pressure by the anesthesia apparatus, the airway seal pressure, airway peak voltage of intermittent positive pressure ventilation and tidal volume were evaluated. Results Patients from two groups achieved adequate lung ventilation (SpO2 >0.97,PETCO2 was normal), the operations were all smooth. There were 5 cases adjusted the position two times,and 1 case adjusted 3 times. Patients in group B were all PLMA insertion under FOB and airway seal pressure was higher,but airway peak voltage was lower than in group A (P<0.05). Conclusion FOB elevates accurate allocation of PLMA,enhances the isolated function from the surrounding tissue of glottis, improves the lung ventilation, and increases the safety of PLMA.

AIM: To study the altion of aminophylline or doxapram attenuate somnolence induced by postoperative intravenous analgesia with butorphanol.METHODS: One hundred and five adult patients were randomly divided into three groups under epidural blockade.0.01% butorphanol and 0.25% aminophylline analgesia-pump(groupⅠ,n=35),0.01% butorphanol and 0.15% doxapram analgesia-pump(groupⅡ,n=35),and 0.01% butorphanol analgesia-pump(group Ⅲ,n=35).Lethargy and analgesia effect were compared.RESULTS: The analgesia effects were satisfactory in the three groups after operation.conscious-sedation score(OAA/S)(at 8-24 h after operation)in groupⅢ was higher than those in groupⅠand Ⅱ(P
9.Display Principle and Clinical Application of PET-CT

Objective To introduce the display principle and clinical application of PET-CT. Methods The display principle of PET-CT was analyzed. Results The status of tissue or organ were showed by using PET in the form of dissection images and the relative physiological parameters. Advanced CT technology exactly locates and indicates anatomic and functional information of target tissue or organ. Conclusion In combination of PET and CT, PET-CT show high value in clinical application.
10.Development of Optometer Controlled by Micro-computer

Objective To develop a new optometer controlled by micro-computer.Methods With AT89C51 single-chip as hardware and programmed by C language,the instrument applied,the optometer adopted LCD and international standard optotype.The optotype had 14 lines of object-finders,and only one line of random characters was displayed on the screen every time.The optometry distance was 3m.All procedures were controlled by singlechip.Results The case of memorizing eye-chart was avoided and the optometry was every simple.Conclusion The instrument eliminates mirror used for optometry short distance,and the optometry results can be stored and printed.It also has the merits of small volume,precise manufacture,simple operation,low cost and AC/DC power supply.
