Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2011;34(7):17-19
Objective To observe the efficacy, feasibility and safety of continous intravenous infusion of furosemide, dopamine combined with Shenmai on treatment of refractory heart failure. Methods Fifty-six patients with diuretic resistance and refractory heart failure were divided into control group(28 patients)and treatment group(28 patients)by random digits table. Conventional diuretics and other anti-heart failure treatment were used in two groups, meanwhile, continuous intravenous infusion of furosemide, dopamine and Shenmai were used in treatment group for 5-7 days. The clinical symptoms and signs, pulmonary edema in chest X-ray and the improvements of pulmonary congestion were observed before and after treatment. Results In treatment group, 10 patients were markedly effective, 14 patients were effective, and 4 patients were unfruitful. The total effective rate was 85.7%(24/28). In control group, 3 patients were markedly effective, 10 patients were effective, and 15 patients were unfruitful. The total effective rate was 46.4%(13/28). There was significant difference in total effective rate between two groups (P < 0.05). The indexes of left ventricular end-diastolic dimension, fractional shortening, left ventricular ejection fraction and cardiac index were significantly improved in treatment group(P < 0.05), but was not significantly improved in control group(P > 0.05). After treatment,2 patients emerged hypokalemia and hyponatremia, after symptomatic treatment, they all recovered. Conclusion Conventional treatment combined with continuous intravenous infusion of furosemide, dopamine and Shenmai in patients with refractory heart failure is markedly effective, feasible and safe.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2009;18(7):594-595
Objective To study the effects of peroxisome prolifterator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) agonist on the expression of ICAM-1 mRNA in the ischemia-reperfusion brain tissues. Methods Adult male SD rats were randomly divided into: sham-operation + normal saline group (NS,n = 6 ), ischemia-reperfusion tion. The expression of ICAM-1mRNA was measured by RT-PCR at 24 h after ischemia. Results The expression of ICAM-1 mRNA of the low-dose PGZ group (0.571±0.032) and the high-dose PGZ group (0. 396±0.024)were significantly reduced compared with that of the I/R + NS group (0.847±0. 028 ) (P<0.05).Conclusion PPARγ agonists can downregulate the the expression of ICAM-1mRNA in the ischemia brain tissue.
6.Biomechanical difference between Twin-Block appliance and straight wire appliance in the early treatment of Class II division 1 malocclusion
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(12):1842-1845
BACKGROUND:Class II malocclusion is commonly observed in clinics, with the main manifestation of skeletal malocclusion, and mandibular retrusion is the main reason. Class II malocclusion should be treated early to correct skeletal malformation and improve facial appearance. OBJECTIVE:To compare the biomechanics change in early treatment of Class II division 1 malocclusion with Twin-Block appliance and straight wire appliance combined with face-bow and Class II drawing. METHODS: Thirty patients with malocclusion who were at peak velocity on the growth curve were randomly divided into two groups, with 15 cases in each group. Patients in each group were treated with Twin-Block appliance and straight wire appliance combined face-bow and Class II drawing, respectively. The cephalometric records of al patients were examined before and after the treatments. The acquired data were processed by statistical analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After treatment, al molars and cuspid teeth achieved or reached Class I, and ANB angle decreased to normal range. The bone effect of Twin-Block appliance was more significant than straight wire appliance. Using Twin-Block appliance, the length of mandible body and lower face height increased significantly. Experimental findings indicate that, Twin-Block appliance has significant therapeutic effects in treatment of early skeletal Class II division 1 malocclusion patients, who are at peak velocity on the growth curve. With the biomechanical effects, this treatment corrects asymmetrical jaw relation, reconstructs the tissue, and obtains satisfactory lateral facial profile of soft tissues. The therapeutic effect is more obvious for patients with obvious mandibular retrusion, flared upper incisors and upright lower incisors.
7.25S rDNA genotype and antifungal susceptibility of vaginal Candida albicans
Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2016;51(4):279-284
Objective To investigate 25S rDNA genotype distribution of vaginal Candida albicans and its relationship with antifungal susceptibility. Methods A total of 954 isolates of Candida albicans were subjected to genotype analysis according to the presence and the size of transposable groupⅠintron in 25S rDNA with PCR; 156 isolates were enrolled to detect their antifungal susceptibility of 5 antifungal agents with the M27-A3 broth microdilution method. Results Totally 876 isolates were determined to be intronless genotype A (91.8%,876/954); 58 (6.1%, 58/954) and 20 isolates (2.1%, 20/954) were intron-containing genotype B and genotype C, respectively. The minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of itraconazole and fluconazole against the intron-containing group were significantly higher than those of the intronless group (0.25 versus 0.125μg/ml, P<0.05;0.25 versus 0.125μg/ml, P<0.01), whereas the MIC of nystatin against the intron-containing group was lower than that of the intronless group (4 versus 8μg/ml, P<0.01). The resistance rate of Candida albicans to itraconazole of the intron-containing group was significantly higher than that of the intronless group [24% (19/78) versus 3% (2/78), P<0.01]. Cross-resistance analysis revealed 5 of the 21 (24%) itraconazole resistant isolates were cross-resistant to fluconazole ,and 5 of the 6 (5/6) fluconazole-resistant strains were cross-resistant to itraconazole. Besides, all the five strains simultaneously resistant to itraconazole and fluconazole belonged to the intron-containing group. Conclusion The presence of the transposable group Ⅰ intron in 25S rDNA of vaginal Candida albicans might be important in affecting itraconazole, fluconazole and nystatin susceptibility.
8.Congenital anti-candida of human vaginal epithelial cells
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2004;0(02):-
Objective: T o further investigate pathogenesis about vulvovaginal candi diasis (VVC). Methods: Human normal vaginal epithelial cells in vitro were cultured by tissue cultur e and keratinocyto serum-free medium. Passaging epithelial cells were coculture d with candida albicans medium in separate wells for 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, and 48 h. C ontr ol epithelial cells were cultured alone in separate wells. For examination o f cytokines and chemokines, at each time point, the coculture supernatant and th e control culture were collected. ELISA was applied to detect the levels of HBD -1, HBD-2 and SP-A protein expression in the vaginal epithelial cells (HBD-1 :F= 62.784,P=0.001; HBD-2: F=5127.984, P=0.000; F=542.210, P=0 .000). Also, we colle cted the vaginal doughing water of VVC patients and healthy women, and detected the levels of SP-A, then analysed the data. Results: In the tra il of human vagin al epithelial cells, in contrast to the control group, the medium group induced the epithelial cells to secrete more HBD-1, HBD-2 and SP-A at h48, which was co nsidered to be significant (P
