Over the years,cerebral vasospasm has been regarded as one of the important factors influencing the prognosis in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage.Studies have shown that cerebral vasospasm is associated with nitric oxide and nitric oxide synthase after subarachnoid hemorrhage,and regulating the synthesis of nitric oxide may play an active role in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm.

As a molecular switch,Rho can be transformed between the inactive GDP-bound form and the active GTP-bound form,transfering signals to downstream effector Rho kinase (ROCK),mediating specific biological effects,and participating in various neurological diseases, such as the pathological processes of ischemic stroke,cerebral vasospasm,and axonal regeneration after spinal cord injury.The application of ROCK inhibitor in the treatment of neurological diseases has achieved satisfactory effect.Rho/ROCK is expected to become a novel therapeutic target.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the content determination of psoralen in Psoralea-pericarpium juglates lini-ment. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Shim-pack VP-ODS C18 with mobile phase of methanol-water(60∶40, V/V)at a flow rate of 0.8 ml/min,detection wavelength was 246 nm,column temperature was 25 ℃,and injection volume was 20μl. RESULTS:The linear range of psoralen was 2.49-39.90 μg/ml;RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2.00%;recovery was 97.23%-100.58%(RSD=1.17%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is fast,simple,accurate and re-liable,and can be used for the content determination of psoralen in Psoralea-pericarpium juglates liniment.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for improving the pharmacy self-taught undergraduate course system in general universities in China. METHODS:According to comparative study and researching related literatures,the situation of pharmacy self-taught undergraduate course system in general universities in China was analyzed,and reform ideas and programs were present-ed. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Based onchemistry-biology-psychology-society-medicine-pharmacyin the overall framework of pharmacy undergraduate self-examination course system,it was designed with target of cultivating applied talents;related con-tents in public basic courses,humanities basic course and professional ethics course should throughout the whole teaching process;professional main course should be pharmaceutical knowledge-based,supplemented by medical related courses;the school should set vocational elective course to reform based on combining with the own teaching research direction,characteristics and career ori-entation of different self-taught students. The reform can develop applied talents with ability and political integrity,which meets the needs of social development.

Objective To observe the efficacy of methylprednisolone stosstherapy of the IgA nephropathy complicated with partial crescenties formation and effects of this therapy on the urine protein output and renal function.Methods 93 patients of IgA nephropathy complicated with partial crescenties formation were identified by renal biopsy and diagnosed according to the WHO diagnostic criteria in 1982 formulation.The patients were randomly divided into two groups:the control and the treating groups.The control group was treated with oral prednisolone (1mg/Kg/day) plus oral cyclophosphamide(2mg?kg -1 ?d -1 ),while the treating group was administered, on the basis of the therapeutic scheme of the control group,with methylprednisolone 0 5～1 0g(20mg?Kg -1 ?d -1 ) in normal saline solution intravenously by drip,for 8 weeks,The degree of puffiness,BP and 24h urine volume were observed in both groups befoue and after the treatment.
