During the recent decade, the advanced medical technology has brought the rapid development in the dentoalveolar surgery, and the medical concepts of humanity, painless, minimally invasive, safe and comfortable are gradually accepted by the patients and doctors. Many advanced techniques and equipments have been used in the dentoalveolar surgery. This paper would like to make a review on the clinical application and experience of the advanced medical technologies in the tooth extraction, such as the general anaesthetic technique, the nitrous oxide sedative technique, the computer-controlled local anesthesia delivery devices, the electrocardiogram montior, the location of embedded tooth by cone beam CT and minimally invasive surgical technique. Additionally, in this paper we also described the indication, contraindication, advantages and operating essentials of the orthodontic traction technique, ultrasonic bone surgery (piezosurgery) device and the surgery technology for alveolar bone shape and functional preservation in the extraction of tooth. Finally, we introduced the immediate implantation technique used in the dentoalveolar surgery.

2.Effect of sensory reeducation on functional rehabilitation of stroke patients with proprioception disturbance
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2008;30(11):764-767
Objective To observe the effect of sensory reeducation on the motor function and activities of daily living (ADL) in stroke patients with proprioceptive disturbance. Methods Sixty patients with proprioceptive disturbance after stroke were randomly divided into the treatment group and observation group, and 30 stroke patients with no proprioception disturbance were recruited as the controls. Three groups were treated with routine rehabilitation interventions, but the treatment group were given sensory reeducation in addition to the regular treatment. Fugl-Meyer motor assessment scale (FMA) and sensory assessment scale, and with Barthel index (MBI) for activities of daily living (ADL) were used to evaluate the patients before and after treatment. Results FMA and MBI scores of patients in three groups were increased significantly (P<0.01) after treatment. The scores of patients in observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group and treatment group (P<0.01). Those of the treatment group and the control group were with no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion The proprioception disturbance significantly affects the rehabilitation process, and sensory reeducation can improve the sensory function, motor function and activities of daily living (ADL).
3.Lactate and tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(2):111-113
Lactate is considered a dead-end product of glycolysis. Its generation and accumulation promotes tumor growth and metastasis, and it is related to the poor prognosis of tumor. But recent studies have found, tumor cells can also uptake and utilize lactate. With the recent advances in tumor metabolism and gene therapy, lactate is a potential therapeutic target in tumors.
4.Advances in the diagnosis of pancreaticobiliary maljunction(PBM)
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2012;18(3):232-234
Pancreaticobiliary maljunction(PBM)is closely related to many surgical diseases in which are commonly seen in clinical practice. However, diagnosis of PBM is difficult and it is easily missed. The lack of knowledge and awareness of PMB has once made PBM “the forgotten corner of abdominal surgery”.This essay summarized the current knowledge on the diagnosis of PBM by medical imaging.

Objective To compare complication, nutritional status and quality of life between total gastrectomy and jejuna interposition after proximal radical gastrectomy in patients with advanced proximal gastric carcinoma. Methods Eighty-five patients with proximal stomach cancer were enrolled from Jan.2002 to Dec.2008,total gastrectomy group(Control group) had 40 cases, jejuna interposition after proximal radical gastrectomy(Experimental group) included 45 cases.Nutritional status, incidence of reflux esophagitis and cholecystolithiasis,5-year survival rate, quality of life were investigated. Results There was no significant difference in 5-year survival rate between two groups(P > 0.05).Incidence of reflux esophagitis in Experimental group was significantly lower than that in Control group(P =0.042).Incidence of cholecystolithiasis in Experimental group was significantly lower than that in Control group (P =0.038).Hemoglobin,albumin,vitamin B12 and ferritin in Experimental group were significantly higher than those in Control group[(142.2 ±8.6) vs (128.4 ±8.4),(41.3 ±5.8) vs (35.9 ±3.8),(271.5 ± 49.7) vs (184.5 ± 24.6),(220.2 ± 59.7) vs (170.2 ± 27.6),P =0.036,0.024,0.032,0.026].Diet and labor in Experimental group were better than those in Control group (P =0.042,0.048).Conclusion Jejuna interposition after proximal radical gastrectomy decrease incidences of reflux esophagitis and cholecystolithiasis, improve nutritional status and quality of life.
6.Review of Study and Treatment on Th1/Th2 Deviation in Hashimoto Thyoiditis
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2014;(1):107-109
[Objective]To probe the research and treatment for Hashimoto thyroiditis in Th1/Th2 migration.[Methods]By referring to related literature from both home and abroad, the author tries to analyze and sort the literature and comes to a reasonable conclusion. [Result]There is a lot of experimental re-search on correction of Hashimoto thyroiditis Th1/Th2 migration at home and abroad, but less clinical treatment research.[Conclusion]Th1/Th2 cellmigra-tion is one of the reasons for Hashimoto thyroiditis. It can promote the development of the disease, have something to do with the rise of thyroid autoanti-bodies.
7.A study on the optimal surgical timing for rib internal fixation
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(23):15-17
Objective To investigate the optimal surgical timing for rib internal fixation. Methods The clinical data of 143 patients with rib fracture were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into early phase fixation group (62 cases) and late phase fixation group (81 cases) according to the time from trauma to internal fixation. The ratio blood lose and body surface area, pulmonary complications and the changes of C reactive protein level before and 5 days after operation were recorded and compared. Results All the patients were healing. The median C reactive protein before operation in late phase fixation group was 45 mg/L,in early phase fixation group was 23 mg/L,there was statistical difference (P < 0.01).The ratio blood lose and body surface area in early phase fixation group was (334.19 ± 37.53) ml/m2,the rate of pulmonary complications was 22.6%(14/61),in late phase fixation group was (438.99 ± 55.24) ml/m2 and 38.3% (31/81),there were statistical differences (P < 0.01 or < 0.05).The median C reactive protein 5 days after operation in early phase fixation group was 189 mg/L,in late phase fixation group was 258 mg/L,there was statistical difference (P < 0.05).Conclusion Early phase (72 hours) rib internal fixation is expected to reduce patient trauma of systemic reactions, reduce the incidence of bleeding and pulmonary complications.
