Chinese Journal of Virology 2015;31(2):187-191
MicroRNA (miRNA) are small non-coding molecules of ribonucleic acid. They are about 22 nucleotides in length, single-stranded, and mediate post-translational regulation by the repression or degradation of messenger RNA(mRNA). miRNA play a key part in the proliferation, differentiation and death of cells. Viral infection is one of the most common causes of human disease. Some studies have found that miRNA has a very close relationship with viral infection, which has an effect on viral replication, the immune response and antiviral immunity. Use of miRNA may become the cornerstone of new methods for the diagnosis and treatment of viral infection. This article summarizes the progress of research into miRNA and viral infection.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the effect of high glucose on the expression of transforming growth factor-?1(TGF-?1),?-SMA,E-Cadherin in renal proximal tubular epithelial cells(HKCs)and role of AG490,an antagonist of Janus kinase. Methods Cultured HKCs cells were divided into four groups:low glucose group(LG),high glucose group(HG),high mannitol group(LG+M),and HG+AG490 group(AG).Immunoprecipitation and Western blot analysis were used to measure the expressions of tryosine phosphorylated Janus kinase 2(p-JAK2),STAT1,STAT3,p-STAT1,p-STAT3 and ?-SMA,E-Cadherin.The contents of TGF-?1 and type I collagen in the supernatants of the cultured HKCs were detected by ELISA.TGF-?1 mRNA were measured by RT-PCR.ResultsCompared with low glucose control group, the expressions of JAK2,p-STAT1,p-STAT3 and TGF-?1 mRNA were significantly increased in HG group from 6 to 72 h.Meanwhile, the contents of TGF-?1 and collagen I in the supernatants and the expression of ?-SMA were increased, the expression of E-Cadherin was decreased. The expression of JAK2,p-STAT1,p-STAT3 and TGF-?1 mRNA and the level of TGF-?1,collagen I in the supernatant s in HG+AG490 group were obviously lower than those of the HG group. The expression of ?-SMA and E-Cadherinwas also decreased in HG+AG490 group. Conclusion Activation of JAK/STAT signaling pathway seems to be involved in the high glucos induced overproduction of TGF-?1 and ECM proteins in HKCs.

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(05):-
Objective To evaluate the treatment method and time for congenital dacryocystitis. Methods The data about the treat ment massage of Congenital dacryocystitis was analyzed. Results 117 eyes of congenital dacryocystitis in 76 patients were given therapy,of which 5 eyes(5%)were cured by dacryocystitis massage,13 eyes(11%)were cured by dacryosolen lavage,99 eyes were cured by dacryorhinocystotomy, with the cure rate of 85%.Conclusion Dacryorhinocystotomy was an effective and important method to treat congenital dacryocystitis. The age from 2 months to 6 months old are available for treatment of Congenital dacryocystitis.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(06):-
Objective To summarize the experience of laparoscopic operation in the treatment of ovarian cysts. Methods Clinical data of 386 patients with ovarian cysts treated laparoscopically from July 1999 to December 2004 in this hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results Laparoscopic operation was successfully performed in 384 cases, while a conversion to open surgery was required in 2 cases because of previous operation history or pelvic adhesions. The mean intraoperative blood loss was 20.6 ml (range, 10~60 ml) and the mean operating time, 55 min (range, 20~140 min). The mean postoperative hospital stay was 3 days(range,2~5 days). In a follow-up for 1~60 months (mean, 24 months) in 194 cases, pelvioscopy and B-ultrasonography examinations revealed normal findings. Conclusions Laparoscopic operation for ovarian cysts is an effective and safe method. It is characterized with minimal invasion, quick recovery and short hospitalization.
