International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(18):2481-2482,2485
Objective To investigate the situation of urogenital Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) in-fection and the drug sensitivity of the mycoplasmas ,and provide references for clinic treatment of urogenital-tract mycoplasmas in-fection .Methods Culture ,identification and drug-sensitivity test of mycoplasmas were performed on 677 specimens collected from suspected mycoplasma-infection patients by using Biomerieux mycoplasma kit .Results In the 677 patients ,the detection rates of Uu single infection was 49 .3% (334/677) ,Uu and Mh double infection was 13 .9% (94/677) ,Mh single infection was 1 .1% (8/677) .The detection rate in men and women were 22 .2% and 65 .6% respectively .The sensitivity tests indicated that the total sensi-tive rates of mycoplasmas to pristinamycin ,josamycin ,doxycycline ,tetracycline ,and erythromycin were 97 .4% ,91 .7% ,81 .9% , 73 .4% ,65 .1% ,respectively .Conclusion The incidence of urogenital mycoplasma infection in women is higher than that in men . Uu is the predominant mycoplasma in urogenital tract infection in the study .Pristinamycin ,josamycin ,doxycycline ,tetracycline ,and erythromycin can be chosen as the fist-line drugs for the treatment of urogenital Uu infection .
2. Gene cloning and sequence analysis of diketide CoA synthase in Amomum villosum
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(21):3037-3041
Objective: To clone the full length cDNA encoding diketide CoA synthase (DCS) gene which plays an important role in curcumin biosynthesis pathway in Amomum villosum, and to provide the basis for the further studies on biosynthesis and gene regulation of curcumin. Methods: According to the annotation of root transcriptome of A. villosum, primers were designed and cDNA of DCS gene was cloned from A. villosum by PCR. Results: The complete coding sequence of DCS gene was 1 170 bp and it encoded a protein of 389 amino acids. The deduced DCS amino acid sequence exhibited 96% identity to the DCS of Curcumae Longae and 66%-69% identity to the chalcone synthase (CHS) of Narcissus tazetta. Phylogenetic analysis on the amino acid sequence of DCS with those of other plants showed that DCS was closely related to Curcumae Longae. Conclusion: The DCS gene is cloned from A. villosum for the first time. This research lays a foundation for studying the gene expression pattern and regulatory functions of DCS in curcumin biosynthesis.

Objective To study the epidemiological features of prevalence and distribution of diabetes mellitus (DM) and the injury glucose tolerance (IGT) in elder people in Beijing. Methods Cross over sectional epidemiological survey by random stratified sampling method in elder population was applied and the middle aged people was used as controls. The prevalent status of diabetes and IGT in the population more than 60 years old in urban area was compared with that in rural areas in Beijing in 1997. Results The aggregate age adjusted standardization prevalence of diabetes and IGT were 15 98% and 15 89% , respectively in old age population in Beijing in 1997. Diabetes prevalence in 60 69 years group (only comparable data) increased about 3 2 times from 4 27% in 1981 to 13 73% in 1997. Although it was no difference in IGT prevalence between urban and rural elders, there existed significant difference for diabetes standardized rates between them(17 74% vs 8 83%). The characteristics that diabetes occurrence increased with aging has been confirmed by the correlation of diabetes prevalence to the aging in both middle age( r =1 00, P

The informatization of traditional Chinese medicine resources is the basis of modern medicine. With a spatial attribute traditional Chinese medicine resources could be carried out for in-depth spatial analysis, data mining and traditional Chinese medicine resources regional industrial layout. In this paper, we took the data of Glycyrrhiza uralensis in the third national Chinese medicine resources survey as the experimental data, described the principles and structure of traditional Chinese medicine resources spatial information database. We also described the establishment of analysis model with the help of this spatial database.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2007;42(2):166-170
To search for bioactive compounds from the flower disc of Helianthus annuus L.,chromatography was used to isolate and purify the chemical constituents, their structures were identified by spectral analysis, MTT method was applied to investigate their cytotoxic activities, some compounds showed moderate cytotoxic activities on SF-268, MCF-7 and HepG2 cell lines. Eleven compounds were obtained from the flower disc of H. annuus, and identified as ent-kaurane-2o, 16α-diol ( 1 ) and entkaurane-15α, 16α-epoxy-17-al-19-oic acid (2), and nine known diterpenes, ent-kaurane-16β-ol (3),phyllocladan-16β-ol (4) , ent-atisan-16α-ol ( 5 ) , grandifloric acid ( 6 ) , angeloylgrandifloric acid ( 7 ) ,ent-kaurane-16-en-19-oic acid (8), ent-kaurane-17-hydroxy-15-en-19-oic acid (9), ent-kaurane-16β,17-dihydroxy-19-oic acid (10), and ciliaric acid (11). Compounds 1 and 2 are new compounds, some compounds showed cytotoxic activities on SF-268, MCF-7 and HepG2 cell lines.
