Acute retinal necrosis syndrome (ARNS) is a group of eye syndrome.Acute uveitis, retinal artery occlusive vasculitis, fused necrotic retinitis and late stage of retinal detachment is the main clinical manifestation.A part of patients may be associated with increased intraocular pressure.The etiology and pathogenesis is still not clear completely and most people think that may be related to the virus infection, which mainly to reflected to be herpes simplex virus (HSV), varicella zoster virus (VZV), EB virus and giant cell virus (CMV) infection.Its diagnosis mainly depends on clinical manifestation, examination and etiological examination.Acute retinal necrosis syndrome is urgent and develops quickly, and it is lack of specific clinical symptoms in early times.By the way, it enjoys high misdiagnosis rate and poor prognosis.It is hard to cure, therefore, it is an important reason for the blindness.Once diagnosed, treatment should be adopted by carrying local and systemic antiviral, preventive laser photocoagulation in time.At the same time, it is essential that vitreous body resection combine with silicone oil tamponade treatment when necessary.The study shows that the effective measures of early treatment will be able to prevent disease progression and improve visual acuity.Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment of acute retinal necrosis syndrome is very important.In this paper, combination of the literature on the diagnosis and treatment of acute retinal necrosis syndrome were reviewed.

The development overview of the US armed forces' medical electronic health record system was described, including its emergence background, development process, block deployment, battlefield application, recent development and future trends, etc. Meantime, the related systems of the PLA were explained. Then, some suggestions on the development of the PLA health informatization were put forward, including emphasis on top-level design and overall planning, stepwise implementation and sequential advance, combined utilization during war and peacetime and integrated development, civil-military integration and technology outsourcing, etc.

However, the data security and privacy protection of wearable health and medi-cal devices are greatly concerned and need to be solved. The characteristics of data security and privacy protection of wearable health and medical devices were thus analyzed and compared with those of traditional health and medi-cal devices. The related studies and laws on domestic and foreign wearable health and medical devices were summa-rized, and the advances, experiences and problems in domestic and foreign wearable health and medical devices were analyzed and compared in order to provide reference for establishing the mechanisms underlying their data se-curity and privacy protection.

Objective To investigate the correlation between benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and blood pressure variability (BPV) in the elderly patients with H type hypertension.Methods 561 elderly patients with H type hypertension from 2010 to 2012 were enrolled in this study,including 436 BPH patients and 125 non-BPH (NBPH) patients.All patients underwent ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and ultrasound examination of prostate.The 24-hour systolic blood pressure variation (24 h SBPV),24 hour diastolic blood pressure variation (24 h DBPV),daytime systolic blood pressure variation (dSBPV),daytime diastolic blood pressure variation (dDBPV),nocturnal systolic and diastolic blood pressure variations were recorded and compared.The differences in blood pressure variation between the two groups were compared.Correlation between BPV and prostatic volume (PV) was analyzed.Results There were no statistical differences in variabilities of 24 h SBPV,nSBPV and dSBPV between BPH group and NBPH group(all P＞0.05).24 h DBPV,nDBPV and dDBPV were significantly higher in BPH group than inNBPH group [(18.5±3.3) mmHg vs.(14.1±3.7) mmHg,(17.1±3.4) mmHg vs.(14.9 ±3.4) mmHg,(16.6±4.1) mmHg vs.(12.8±5.1) mmHg,respectively,all P＜0.05].There were correlations of 24 h DBPV,nDBPV and dDBPV with PV (r =0.137,0.032,0.079,respectively,all P＜0.05).Conclusions The diastolic blood pressure variability may associate with the degree of prostatic hyperplasia in the elderly patients with H type hypertension.

Correspondence analysis was used for determining the important factors from the six factors influencing analysis of cephalosporin in reversed phase-high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). Experiments were planed by U7（76）, then the synthetical correspondence between a series of optimizations and the factors was calculated. Result indicated that that proportion of organic solvent, pH and concentration of buffer were three most important factors. It showed that the correspondence analysis was a better method to determining the important factors in RP-HPLC

ObjectiveTo investigate the age distribution of serum prostate specific antigen (PSA) and explore its correlation with fasting blood glucose(FBG)and lipid in the male elderly.MethodsThe levels of FBG,triglyceride (TG),low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C),high density lipoprotein (HDL-C) and PSA were reviewed in 2903 elderly men (aged ≥ 60 years) in our hospital.The subjects were classified into 6 groups by age,and PSA levels were compared among groups.The correlations of FBG,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C with PSA were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis.Results The level of PSA had the trend to increase with age.Positive association of TG,LDL with serum PSA level,but negative correlation between HDL and serum PSA level were noted in the group aged 60-64 years (r=0.10,0.15,0.12,P＜0.05).In the group aged 66-69 years,there was negative relationship between FBG and serum PSA(r= 0.10,P＜0.05).No relationship could be found in other groups (P＞0.05).ConclusionsPSA level may increase with age,but without relation with FBG,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C.

Objective To detect the expression of translationally controlled tumor protein (TCTP) in squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) tissue and cell lines A431 and SCL-1,and to evaluate the effect of TCTP on apoptosis in and proliferation of SCC cells.Methods An immunohistochemical method was used to measure the expression of TCTP in tissue specimens from 65 patients with SCC.Western blot was performed to detect the expression of TCTP in A431 and SCL-1 cells.Three small interference RNAs (siRNAs) targeting the TPT1 gene were designed,synthesized,and transfected into A431 cells.Then,reverse transcription (RT)-PCR and Western blot were conducted to measure the expression of TPT1 mRNA and TCTP,respectively,methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay and flow cytometry were carried out to detect cell proliferation and apoptosis,respectively.Results TCTP was overexpressed in SCC tissue specimens,and the expression level was positively correlated with the histologic grading of SCC (P ＜ 0.05).Western blot showed that TCTP was expressed in both A431 and SCL-1 cells,and the expression was relatively high in A431 cells.The transfection efficiency of siRNAs varied from 90％ to 95％.A decrease in the expression of TPT1 mRNA and TCTP was induced by the siRNAs in A375 cells (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The downregulation of TCTP expression may increase the apoptosis in and suppress the proliferation of A431 cells.

To search for bioactive compounds from the flower disc of Helianthus annuus L.,chromatography was used to isolate and purify the chemical constituents, their structures were identified by spectral analysis, MTT method was applied to investigate their cytotoxic activities, some compounds showed moderate cytotoxic activities on SF-268, MCF-7 and HepG2 cell lines. Eleven compounds were obtained from the flower disc of H. annuus, and identified as ent-kaurane-2o, 16α-diol ( 1 ) and entkaurane-15α, 16α-epoxy-17-al-19-oic acid (2), and nine known diterpenes, ent-kaurane-16β-ol (3),phyllocladan-16β-ol (4) , ent-atisan-16α-ol ( 5 ) , grandifloric acid ( 6 ) , angeloylgrandifloric acid ( 7 ) ,ent-kaurane-16-en-19-oic acid (8), ent-kaurane-17-hydroxy-15-en-19-oic acid (9), ent-kaurane-16β,17-dihydroxy-19-oic acid (10), and ciliaric acid (11). Compounds 1 and 2 are new compounds, some compounds showed cytotoxic activities on SF-268, MCF-7 and HepG2 cell lines.
