Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(09):-
Taking the teaching process of the medical immunology curriculum as a master line, the curriculum restructuring as the method and the big sample investigation results as the basis, this article advocates teaching with heart, establishing curriculum with the sentiment,in order to interlink the heart of teachers and students and reach mutual understanding.
5.Association between Helicobacter pylori infection and glycosylated hemoglobin levels
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2013;12(8):643-645
The health check-up results of 11 514 subjects in 2011 at Beijing Hospital were retrospectively analyzed, including the results of 13C urea breath test for detection of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) and HbA1c test. The results showed that the prevalence rate of Hp infection was significantly higher in females (31.77%) than that of males (29.36%) (x2 =7.355,P <0.05) ; the highest prevalence was found in 35-60 y age group (31.17%).Hp positive rates in subjects with body mass index (BMI) ≥28kg/m2 and central obesity were 31.55% and 30.44%,respectively; there were no significant differences from those with normal weight and non central obesity.Subjects with positive Hp infection had higher levels of HbA1 c,compared to those with negative Hp infection (t =-2.276,P =0.01).In subjects with BMI ≥24 kg/m2 and central obesity,HbA1c level was higher in Hp positive subjects than that in Hp negative ones (P <0.05).Diabetes mellitus was positively associated with Hp infection (OR 1.282; 95% CI 0.941-1.799),particularly in obese patients (OR 1.459 ; 95 % CI 1.070-2.071).The results indicate that Hp may be involved in the impairment of glucose regulation, particularly in those with higher body mass index.
6.Morphological changes of the smear layer after caries removal using different methods:An observation under scanning electron microscope
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(38):6725-6732
BACKGROUND:The methods to remove the smear layer mainly include mechanical, Carisolv chemomechanical, laser, ozone methods and so on. But studies after caries removal are limited. At present, there is no research for the observation of the smear layer after caries removal using Er:YAG laser, Carisolv chemomechanical and traditional dental turbine.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the morphologic changes of the dentin smear layer after treated with the three methods of Er:YAG laser, Carisolv chemomechanical and traditional high speed dental turbine under a scanning electron microscope.
METHODS:Thirty newly removed premolars or molars with moderate caries were divided into three groups, 10 teeth in each group. The bottom surface of the tooth cavity was observed with the naked eyes after caries removal with Er:YAG laser, Carisolv chemomechanical and traditional dental turbine, respectively. Then, the surface was observed using the scanning electron microscope (magnification ×1 000 and ×2 000).
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The texture of the tooth cavity was hard in the three groups. After caries removal, the dentin surface of Er:YAG laser group was rough and uneven, and showed a peak-like shape; The dentin surface of Carisolv chemomechanical group was dark and the bottom was flat; The dentin surface of traditional dental turbine group was smooth and bright, and there was an obvious cutting trace. It was found that the surface of Er:YAG laser group did not have the smear layer, and the dentinal tubule was clearly visible. The most dentinal tubules were visible in the Carisolv chemomechanical group, and the surface was covered with a less smear layer. The surface of the traditional dental turbine group was covered with a thick smear layer, and the dentinal tubule was unseen. The differences in dentin smear layer cleanliness were significant between the three groups. These result indicate that Er:YAG laser can effectively remove the smear layer, which is better than Carisolv chemomechanical method and traditional dental turbine. Traditional dental turbine group is the worst among the three methods.
7.Study on distribution and reference interval of serum bilirubin in physical examination population
Journal of Chinese Physician 2013;(1):7-10
Objective To select health individual and test serum total bilirubin and direct bilimbin in order to provide a reference range for the establishment of appropriate reference interval in this region. Methods From October to December in 2009,314 of physical examination population of Beijing Hospital were selected by questionnaire and laboratory test excluding liver and gallbladder diseases or metabolic diseases.Roche and Prodia reagents were used to test TBIL and DBIL,respectively.Reference interval was calculated by sex group and compared with the existing reference interval. Results The level of TBIL had a significant difference between different genders(P < 0.01).The level of TBIL had a significant difference between two kinds of reagents(P < 0.01).Using Roche reagent, the reference interval of TBIL was 7.1 ~ 27.2 μmol/L for man,and 4.8 ~ 20.9 μmol/L for woman, and the reference interval of DBIL was 1.4 ~6.8 μmol/L for man,and 0.9 ~5.7 μmol/L for woman.Using Prodia reagent, the reference interval of TBIL was 9.5 ~ 35.7 μmol/L for man,and 6.8 ~ 28.9 μmol/L for woman, and the reference interval of DBIL was 1.3 ~ 7.0 μmol/L for man,and 1.0 ~ 6.6 μmol/L for woman. Conclusions The level of TBIL and DBIL in physical examination population was higher than the existing reference interval. It is necessary to modify the existing reference interval and establish reasonable reference interval for different regions and gender, respectively.
8.The compliance of schizophrenia patiemts in rehabilitation
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2001;10(3):194-196
Objective To research the compliance in the treatment rehabilitation of outpatients with schizophrenia Method The compliance of 415 cases of schizophrenia were evaluated by face to face interview, and their genaral populations data, antipsychotics use situation, factors affecting compliance were collected by comprehensive interview. The corretaled factors were also analysised.Achi-square statistic was used. Results Among all the enrolled cases,55.9% were fully compliant,23.6% partially compliant and 20.5% non-compliant.Factors affecting compliance were ages,dosage,famillies-environment relationship and personality. Conclusions It is necessary to increase compliance in the treatment rehabilitation of schizophrenia. In this way,the effect can be strengthened and the relapse in rehabilitation can be decreased.
9.Pulmonary surfactant protein D and respiratory syncytial virus infections
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2014;(9):998-1001
The pulmonary surfactant protein D ( SP-D) plays an important role in host defense and innate immunity of the lung.It has increasing evidences that SP-D involves in the pathogenesis of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)infection.Recent studies have demonstrated that SP-D can be used for treating infectious and inflammatory diseases of the lung .Here is to make a review on SP-D structure, function , relationship between RSV and pulmonary inflammatory disease treatment .aiming to provide some assistance for treatment of RSV infection .
10.Clinical Observation on Carpal Joint Sprain by Puncturing Juliao (GB 29)
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2010;08(3):196-198
Objective: To observe the effect of puncturing Juliao (GB 29) in treating carpal joint sprain. Methods: 99 cases were randomly divided into 3 groups, treatment, control 1 and control 2 groups, 33 cases for each group. Cases in treatment group were treated by acupuncture on Juliao (GB 29); patients in control 1 group were treated by acupuncture at Sanyinjiao (SP 6), and patients in control 2 group were treated by local application. The clinical effect was compared among three groups after the treatment. Results: The effective rate in the treatment group is 96.9%, which is over and above 84.8% in control 1 group and 75.8% in control 2 group (both P<0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture at Juliao (GB 29) has a precise curative effect in treating sprain of carpal joint. It is more effective than acupuncture at Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and local application.
