3.Comparison of the Content of Anthraquinones in the Decoction and Maceration of Rheum officinale
China Pharmacy 2005;0(23):-
OBJECTIVE: To compare content of anthraquinones in the decoction and maceration of Rheum officinale.METHODS: Aloe emodin and four other components in R.officinale were taken as analysis objects.HPLC was used to determine the content of nomadic anthraquinone, conjugated anthraquinone and total anthraquinone in R.officinale during decoction process and maceration process.RESULTS: The linear range of aloe emodin, rhein, emodin and chrysophanol were 0.03~0.64?g and the linear range of physcion were 0.01~0.34 ?g.The concentration of total anthraquinones in decoction process was much higher than in maceration process. The change of dissolution of nomadic anthraquinones in two processes kept stable with process time. The content of conjugated anthraquinones in two processes was all decreased to some extent.CONCLUSION: The concentrations of anthraquinones in R.officinale are influenced by decoction process and maceration process.
4.Study of procalcitonin and C-reactive protein in predicting enterog-enous bacterial infection among diarrheal patients after irinotecan chemotherapy
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;(7):382-385
Objective:To investigate procalcitonin and C-reactive protein levels in diarrheal patients who underwent irinotecan che-motherapy. Methods:Procalcitonin and C-reactive protein were detected among 85 diarrheal and 63 non-diarrheal patients after irinote-can chemotherapy. Results:According to WHO classification, patients without diarrhea are classified as grade 0, whereas patients with diarrhea can be classified as gradesⅠ-Ⅳ. In grades 0,Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ, andⅣpatients, the levels of procalcitonin were 0.29 ± 0.17, 0.30 ± 0.18, 0.36 ± 0.20, 1.24 ± 0.22, and 2.15 ± 0.26 ng/mL on the second day, respectively. However, on the fourth day, the procalcitonin lev-els were 0.28 ± 0.15, 0.30 ± 0.14, 0.34 ± 0.18, 2.00 ± 0.22, and 2.40 ± 0.28 ng/mL, respectively. Moreover, in grades 0,Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ, andⅣ, the levels of C-reactive protein were 6.06 ± 1.85, 6.12 ± 1.16, 6.20 ± 1.68, 22.62 ± 4.55, and 31.26 ± 5.23 mg/L on the second day, respectively. On the fourth day, the C-reactive protein levels were 5.80 ± 1.82, 5.94 ± 1.14, 6.15 ± 1.55, 30.52 ± 4.74, and 38.67 ± 5.68 mg/L, respectively. No significant difference was found between the procalcitonin and C-reactive protein levels of stagesⅠandⅡpa-tients (P>0.05), but a significant difference was found between stagesⅠ, andⅡpatients and stagesⅢandⅣpatients (P<0.05). Con-clusion: Monitoring levels of procalcitonin and C-reactive protein may be helpful in the early evaluation of the severity of diarrhea. This process has prognostic effect and can be used to assess whether patients have enterogenous bacterial infection. Monitoring the lev-els of these proteins has certain clinical value and can be used to guide early anti-infection therapy.
5.Research status of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine drugs combined the western medicine in the treatment of functional dyspepsia
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;38(3):286-288
According to related literature on the treatment of functional dyspepsia by the combination of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in recent years, the general rule was summerized. In this paper, the relevant literature was summarized from the traditional Chinese medicine on disease, etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and clinical treatment of functional dyspepsia.
6.Advances in the study on association of Wnt-5a with tumor
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(07):-
Wnt gene family has been shown to encode the multifunctional signaling glycoproteins that are involved in the regulation of a wide variety of normal and pathologic processes, including embriogenesis, differentiation, and tumorigenesis.Recent studies have demonstrated that the Wnt-5a expression is frequently deregulated in various human cancers, which suggested that Wnt5a shuld be a good marker for progression and prognosis of tumor, but the role of Wnt-5a is controversial in different tumors. Here,we assemble evidence of possible relations between Wnt and various tumors.
7.Resistant Effect of Airway Epithelial Cells Transfected by Elafin on Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilm
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE To observe whether the natural antibacterial polypeptide elafin after transfected into airway epithelial cells(A549 cells)has resistant effects on Pseudomonas aeruginosa bioflim.METHODS To establish the P.aeruginosa biofilm model in vitro,a rapid silver nitrate staining procedure was used to demonstrate bacterial biofilm. After cultivating the cells in vitro, the constructed pEGF-N1-elafin eukaryotic expression vector had transfected into A549 cells by LipofectamineTM 2000.Elafin transfected cells were incubated by pig Pancreas Elastase(NE group),the supernatants of PAE(PAE group)and Escherichia coli(ECO group),respectively, for 24 hours. Then the content of elafin in cells and the level of elafin secretion were detected by Western blot and ELISA respectively. After biofilm carriers were put into each group and incubated for 8 hours,we observed the ratio of cells shape breakage at 4,8,12 and 24 hour, respectively.RESULTS The NE,PAE and ECO groups induced the content of elafin in cells and the level of secretion increased compared to the no induced group(normal group),while the PAE group and NE group were higher than those of ECO group. The ratio of cells breakage in induced elafin groups was lower than that of in normal group(P

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(12):1824-1825
Objective To explore the quality of life (QoL) among the female condyloma acuminatum patients. Methods 118 female condyloma acuminatum patients were interviewed face-to-face by the well-trained nurses with questionnaire including SF-36 Chinese version, the t-test and x2 test were used to compare the scale scores of SF36 between the patient and control groups. Results There were 101 eligible questionnaire, the scale scores of physical function(PF) and bodily pain(BP) were highest in the patient group, the scale score was (92.9 ± 10.5)points and (75.0 ± 1 1.2) points, respectively.Role limitations due to emotional problems (RE) was the lowest with the scale score only(50.8 ± 13.7)points.All scale scores of SF-36 in patient group, except PF(no statistical significant),were lower than that in the control group (all P < 0.01).Conclusion In the female condyloma acuminatum patients, the QoL is lower significantly than that in the control group, especially in emotional scales.
